Staff, food, cleanliness were all top notch.
I have been to a lot of nice properties. The premium rooms are overpriced.
Really nice and great views
Amazing place, Very beautiful and service level is extraordinary. Stay at-least for 2-3 nights to get in the groove of the place. I can't believe that I spent this much money on a hotel, but it was worth the experience.
The road that approaches the resort is very bumpy
It was the vacation dreams are made of; nothing short of perfection.
When you pay USD 2,000 a night for a room, you expect an exclusive experience throughout. The beach fills with day-trippers at about 11 am and by 1 pm, you have to leave the beach. There are close to 100 people wondering around the beach, laying out their towels next to your chaise lounge, eating box lunches and making much noise. Management says they can’t do anything, but still, they sell them refreshments, rent them chairs, towels and umbrellas and snorkeling gear. Jade Mountain has become a money machine - everything is outrageously priced and there is little peace throughout the day. I was there just 2 years ago and it was a very different experience.
A first-class resort experience awaits guests at the Jade Mountain Resort in Soufriere, St. Lucia. Overlooking the Caribbean Sea, the resort offers spectacular mountain and beach views, with the feeling of being suspended in mid-air. Beginning with their pre-arrival concierge service, the resort seeks to provide its guests with everything they will need to make their stay truly unforgettable.
The resort offers 24 suites, or sanctuaries, accessed via a private sky bridge. Each suite has a private infinity pool or jacuzzi tub, and guests can step directly from the suite's living area into the pool or tub in complete privacy, enjoying panoramic views. The sanctuaries are finished with exotic, responsibly harvested hardwoods and coral plaster, designed to allow indoor and outdoor spaces to flow seamlessly into one another.
Guests can enjoy a variety of spa activities at the resort, and at its sister resort, Anse Chastanet, located on the beach below. A fully equipped fitness center, miles of trails, and daily escorted walks and hikes cater to guests, and swimming, snorkeling, and SCUBA diving are also available. Tennis, fitness and Yoga classes, watersports, and excursions to local attractions will keep even the most active guests busy. Of course, guests may also choose to relax by the infinity pool or one of the properties pristine beaches.
No resort experience would be complete without fine dining, and James Beard award-winning chef Allen Susser does not dissappoint. Featuring menus that showcase local and seasonal offerings, the Jade Mountain Club offers both a memorable dining experience and amazing views.
