Very poor welcome for a 5 stars hotel which I was very excited to discover when I booked it. My reservation could not be found. I got told that it’s cause I went through booking that it’s often an issue ...? Huh how is that my problem being a paying customer who received a confirmation to to stay at the hotel. Staff handling this kind of situation poorly , not warm at all i was traveling alone it seemed like they did not care , I did not get any information arriving at 11pm at the resort , I had to go find it myself and ask for further details . The next day I saw people getting a tour I felt left out. The staff at the welcome fell very short to the 5 stars the hotel has. I work in the same industry I can say that my guests are always treated as king and queens
breakfast was great i have no negative feelings about the location for breakfast
the rooms, elevators and walkways can smell better i know it is a nature park and animals live there but the general smell of the compound can be much more pleasant i have been to similar resorts and the smell through the walkways is refreshing and inviting
Nice enough. Pool was nice. Not over crowded. Food was decent but got old after 8 days. Drinks at the pool were terrible.. watered down or cheap alcohol... not sure which; maybe both. Ask specifically for whatever alcohol you want. Bring dollars to tip.. if not forget about any quality of service. Enjoyed the margertas at the Mexican restaurant. Beach has decent sand for kids to play in.. no access to ocean. Definitely do the kayaking and snorkeling and the trails there. I enjoyed the sensory tour as well. Different and kinda fun. Need money to tip. We also loved the staff and the treats at the coffee shop! Also very nice sunsets... and was not crowded.
Pool staff and drinks were terrible. Pool was dirty. There 8 nights only saw it cleaned twice. Tiles missing.. son cut his foot on pool because of this. 3.5 star place.. nothing more so if you want more than look else where.. food was just.. ok. No beach access... period.
the cenotes and the rivers from them to the beach, Cafe de Paris, room size and silence at night, nice pools, lots of wild life: birds, iguanas, coatis...
Not sandy beaches lots of seaweed
