Pros: Es Príncep is AMAZING!! It’s located right in the heart of Palma and is within walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants! The hotel is decorated very nicely and is extremely CLEAN!! The staff are so helpful and nice! We arrived earlier than our check in time and the hotel allowed us to check in 3 hours early with no extra charge. This was so so nice of them! The roof deck plays lovely music in the evening and has the best view of the cathedral and Palma. The swimming pool is so clean and there is plenty of space to lay out! The roof deck is very big and has cabanas as well! The drinks are also amazing!! I would 100% stay at this hotel again! If you are planning a trip to Palma and want to stay in the city I would stay at Es Príncep and look no further!!!

Cons: The breakfast was expensive per person per night. We had a standard room, but at €300 per night, I would have expected a much better view than the one we had. We couldn't open the curtains at any point in the day, due to the fact that we were directly opposite apartments that could see straight into our room. The fact that the hotel had a roof top bar was a massive selling point and to be honest it was fantastic with good waiter service, readily available sunbeds and amazing sea views. I am sure if you book a room with a sea view, the hotel experience would be so much better though I am not sure just how much you would need to pay per night. The view from the room was a real negative point, but in truth the only one.

Cons: The Suite Privilege, one of their best rooms, suffers from a fair degree of restaurant noise every night and a great deal of it (until 05.00 in the morning) when they have a wedding. Yes, they did send up a bottle of wine and some Jamon by way of an apology, but €478 is a lot of money to pay for a sleepless night, albeit with some ham and wine thrown in. The location is not as central, nor as salubrious, as some of its obvious competitors.

Pros: From the moment we walked in we were blown away by this stunning hotel. Every room is like walking into a different perfectly preserved area from the library to the gorgeous old entrance hall and the modern complimentary spa. Our room was spacious, clean, amazingly comfortable and homely (we felt like we were coming home every day after our excursions!). A special mention to the staff, Bianca was simply amazing. She was there for every single thing we needed morning, noon and night. We had a complimentary hour in the spa and the staff couldn’t have done more for us. Anything you require from excursions to restaurant ideas, Bianca is your lady. Alejandra showed us around the beautiful hotel when we arrived and told us all about the history (the welcome and leaving drinks were a lovely touch). After staying 5 nights and enjoying both dinner and lunch we can also highly recommend the excellent quality food on offer. I would honestly recommend this hotel to anyone and usually am not one to stop and write a review but Can Cera really does deserve the tip off (hope it doesn’t get too popular!) Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful stay. Chris and Hannah.

Pros: I have stayed at this hotel several times and am never disappointed. It is small and very personal and the staff are all extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast on the roof is wonderful; the beds are incredibly comfortable; the rooms are spacious but the thing I love most is the peace and quiet despite the fact that all that Palma has to offer is just a stones throw away. It's a little oasis of calm.

Pros: All the people who work at this hotel are exceptional. They are a great team and make everyone feel very welcome. Very customer focused and very knowledgable on wonderful Palma restaurants. The building is even better than we expected. We highly recommend this hotel and Palma, which has recently gone through a transformation. Pros: I have stayed at this hotel several times and am never disappointed. It is small and very personal and the staff are all extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast on the roof is wonderful; the beds are incredibly comfortable; the rooms are spacious but the thing I love most is the peace and quiet despite the fact that all that Palma has to offer is just a stones throw away. It's a little oasis of calm.

The building is even better than we expected. We highly recommend this hotel and Palma, which has recently gone through a transformation. Cons: “The battle for coffee”. Sunday, 08:15 in the morning, need my morning coffee. I go down to the lobby with money (no kettle/instant coffee in the room). The young lady in the reception takes out a map (!) responding to my “where can I get a cup of coffee “ question. Apparently the lobby bar opens at 09:00 and you can only get coffee if you buy a full breakfast at the buffet... I am begging her to let me pay just for a simple cup of coffee, but no. I have to wait till 09:00, she says, or to buy the 17 Euro breakfast... I go up to my room cranky and sad. Decided to try my luck again, called and asked to speak to the manager. It worked! They finally agreed to sell me a cup of espresso for 2.5 Euro’s.... and I was happy again (:

The design of reception, corridors, bar and restaurant is much better than the room. Pool on the roof doesn`t impress - really small and the view on the roofs of other buildings. Managment didin`t met halfway to me when I asked to change the booking... I`ve made a mistake and booked 2 nights instead of 1. I know that it`s my fault but I asked to consider that question 1 month before the booking...

Cons: Brick hotel is a standard hostel with a very good location. I have just 3 comments in regards of their conditions : - No regular cleaning. My roommates asked personally the cleaner to make up our room on the second day of stay. - Poor breakfast. It is not worthy of 6 euro. - Unavailability of iron at the first request. It should be said about the prices for the hostel guests and local population coming to the hostel bar. They are totally different. The guests of hostel are charged a lot while a local population are treated with a quiet law prices. I cannot accept such a discrimination. That is the reason why I had never spent time in the hostel bar.

Cons: A group of men were staying on the floor above us and were making excessive noises for at least a few hours between 23.00 and 01.00. I don’t know what they were doing, at times it sounded like they were wrestling and jumping up and down. Some very strange noises indeed! It was very uncomfortable for our family with two teenage children. There was nobody from the hotel there controlling anything. In the end I lost my patience and banged on the wall / ceiling and shouted at them. I was on the verge of calling the police as you don’t know what sort of maniacs these people might be. We were in a room for 4 ripple (number 23). I think the hotel should check who were these guys on the 3rd floor.

Sliding door between toilet and bed, could not close or open the fixed door in open position. Towel hangers like a ladder, fell down when you took your towel .. Colored off on the towels that looked dirty, and the towels are old and worn. Even on clothes if you went against it. no full-body mirror, just a small bathroom mirror. Very responsive, it feels like sleeping at a nightclub. Doors without soft closing all the time struck oaks on the courtyard. We were offered hot breakfast menu, after day 3. No service in the dining room. Have a drink at the bar, but stay somewhere else

Cons: Restaurant staff service at breakfast very inconsistent, we only discovered there was a menu with additional items such as freshly cooked eggs etc when we saw a group of men being offered it. We hadn’t been approached by anyone, and despite having e mailed about my gluten intolerance no offer was made of any GF products until the 3rd morning after we had given feedback, and I had actually provided my own bread to be toasted! Reception staff dealt with the complaint very effectively and were extremely helpful. Also some hostile and inappropriate Brexit comments made by bar man when we went up to roof top for gin and tonic on our arrival!! Otherwise our stay was delightful!!

Pros: Service was subtle and always helpful. Anything u needed was provided for on request with a friendly home like feeling. You truly felt looked after and that gave you a real sense of security and stability when exploring a new city. I was sad to leave. Seamless and painless luxury throughout. For example I discovered as I left that the kitchen and other rooms which I had previously thought were a museum, were actually functional and we as guests were encouraged to use them as our own home, making coffee and tea and inviting guests to join us. It’s like the most high end youth hostel you can imagine. Thanks so much to the staff and the amazing decor.

At 1st they said there was noting they could do about construction next door, then I said to move me to a room away from it. They moved me up 5 floors which helped a little but I'll never stay there again. The 2nd morning it sounded like housekeeping was moving furniture.
