Disastrous experienceCons:I had deliberately called at the time of booking to confirm that the booking was for the SWISS side at Geneva airport. That was confirmed at the time while booking it was at the French side. I was forced to pay an extra of 400 Euros on the spot due to this.Reviewed 20 Feb 2017

BE AWARE of the GAS TANK INDICATORPros:The car itself was quite nice: Clean, comfy and great milage (860km!!). Its been a while I didn't drive a stick shift so it was refreshing.Cons:I thought I booked the car in Geneva airport so in my mind I had to pick it up where the "rental car" signs were. I get there after looking for that bloody place for some time only to be told that I have to go to the french side to pick my car (I did book my RSVP when I was in France so maybe thats why). I get there, wait in line for quite some time, before I finally decided to go fwd and call out the Hertz rep who was not even making eye contact after 5min! and no he was not busy with another customer. Anyway, I get the car (without going around and checking it out) and drive to my hotel (30km away). I return with the car to airport the next day to catch my flight. On the way to the airport (30km away) I refill the car TWICE, since the gas tank indicator was a TINY BIT below FULL, but the indicator didn't move. I filled the car so much that it overspilled. I get to the airport: Not only there was NO SPOT to park the car but there was no one to talk to about the gas tank indicator prob!!!! So Guess what happened next: I look at my credit card bill a few days later and I see I got charged almost $30 for gas!!! Moral of the story: CHECK THAT EVERYTHING IS FINE WITH THE CAR BEFORE YOU EVEN TURN IT ON OR ITS ON YOU!!!Reviewed 6 Sep 2016

Pros:1. The price was reasonable . 2. They did not insist on blocking 3000 CHF on my credit card (as other companies do) to cover the excess of 1500 in case of damage and 1500 in case of theft (surely only one blocking of 1500 should be sufficient) 3. I did not ask for a GPS navigator , but the car had one built in .Reviewed 1 Sep 2016
