Extremely poor. Dollar failed to disclose critical return restrictions before pickup. My confirmation email explicitly stated a same-day return at 9:00 PM, but upon arrival I was told the office would close at noon, be closed all day Sunday, and that I would be charged an extra day because returns would not be processed until Monday. This information was never disclosed during booking. I was informed only at the counter, when I had no time to change plans without missing a time-sensitive event. I was effectively forced to accept a longer and more expensive rental than what I agreed to. Even though the car was physically returned on Saturday via after-hours drop-off, I was still charged for an additional day due to Dollar’s internal processing policy. This is misleading, unacceptable, and a clear failure of transparency. I would not rent from Dollar again.Reviewed 4 Jan 2026

Really bad experience. It was truly a horrible experience. I rented a car online, selecting the model with the features and price I wanted, but when I arrived at the agency, they gave me a smaller, cheaper car with different features. In addition, I had to wait around 40 minutes due to a mistake they made with a customer who arrived just before me. She was also unhappy because we paid for one car and they gave us a different one. It was a total fiasco. I asked for a refund or the difference, since the car they gave me was smaller. The response was dismissive and rude: no refunds, no more cars. As an older guy, I rent a couple of times a year just to have the mobility of a car. As Santa, I need a car for the whole month of December, so for years I have been renting cars, especially the month of December. I have rented from practically every company there is. This year, my experience with these guys was simply the very best ever. I doubt I will ever use anyone else again! Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Even the guys who service and clean the cars are warm and personable. The manager, Ronit, is even more incredible; he takes the time to get everything just right. This year, I had a complex problem with my invoice, which I needed to get reimbursed. He spent almost half an hour on the computer, ensuring it was done 100% correctly for the accountants. I simply cannot say enough good things about Ronit and the staff here at Dollar (and Hertz and Thrifty - all together). As a descendant of Scots, price is vital to me...... here again, these guys are the best. Dollar Rental changed my vehicle rental from. 15 passenger van to a mini van without notification!!! I even drove 1.5 hrs to confirm I was getting a Ford Transit 15 passenger van a week prior to pick up. When I arrived on the day of rental they said I had rented a minivan! I showed the email proof of the Ford Transit. They said I could have that for $500 more!!! The finally gave me an old 12 passenger Chevy van that was very uncomfortable to travel 3,800 miles in over the holidays. Both managers blamed others for the mistakes made and were put out that I wanted what I paid for and reserved. I'll never do business with them again.Reviewed 31 Dec 2025

I reserved a car and when we arrived was told they had no cars. That was it - we rented a car, Dollar confirmed our reservation, and then simply said there was nothing they could do about it.
