The staff where very friendly and the hotel clean
It was a good 10 minutes or £8 in a taxi from the north pier, hotel very dated and basic. A standard double is a very small bed for two adults.
Undergoing quality refurbishment
Police involved in a domestic on second night of our stay
Nice and clean, parking and lovely and warm rooms.
Unfortunately our room (8) does have a very small shower/toilet room but we got a sea view
From experience only £40 for 1 night made this the perfect location for getting places. There's a tram stop right outside over the road which goes to Blackpool, Cleveleys and Fleetwood, at a cost of only £2.40 each Max. If you like walking then the laid back coastal walk to these places are fantastic. We got a sea view basic room which was rather small with everything you needed, but was very warm with radiators and wall heaters which we couldn't turn off (ideal in winter). We didn't take the (get up early) Breakfast option for an extra £10 each because we thought that was a bit expensive knowing there a lot of cheaper places in Cleveley or Fleetwood 10 min drive away. On site Parking for free is another reason why we stayed here rather than struggling to find a place in Blackpool with parking more than £10 per day and miles away from were your staying. Also Norbreck Castle is only next door which hosts many famous functions through out the year.
Due to the room been so warm we had to jam the large window open because it was broken.
Lovely sea view. Spacious room and very comfortable bed. Staff pleasant and friendly. Our breakfast was nicely cooked, we had a veggie version of the full English. Pleased we managed to get a parking space.
We enjoyed our breakfast but would have liked a bit more choice for example cereal or wholemeal toast. My partner would have preferred a stronger coffee but no big deal.
