Like you, we travel a lot and this helps us understand what you want. It's the essentials: a great night’s sleep, caring service, uncomplicated comfort, laid-back style and not forgetting a bit of fun. You want no less but, and here’s the smart bit, you also want no more. So why pay for anything you don’t need? That’s the idea of Ruby. By giving you only what you want makes for great value for money and a big smile on your face.
At the Ruby Sofie Hotel Vienna this means you get laid-back glamour in a ROOM that includes a super-comfortable bed and a generous and sensuous walk-in shower. Our baristas are ready to serve you 24/7 with the best coffee and local-sourced organic foods in our BAR & CAFÉ. Upstairs, the 5th floor Galley Kitchen offers complimentary hot drinks and a supersized vending machine stocking everything from an umbrella to toothpaste, from bio-chewing gum to family-made soft drinks.
Our guestrooms are high on comfort and low on clutter. There is everything you need and nothing you don’t. Each room is a glamourous space of beautiful materials, smart design and technology that together tell a compelling story. A story of naturally stained oak and limestone ripe for patination. Of switches and plenty of sockets intuitively placed just where you’d expect them. Of a raindance showerhead to get sensual (& clean!) under. Of Marshall Amps to plug and play your own content or listen to RUBY RADIO. Why not borrow one of our guitars and play a little jam session?
Open 24/7 and exclusively for Ruby’s guests is our GALLEY KITCHEN on the 5th floor. Help yourself to a complimentary hot drink and make the most of a supersized vending machine that stocks everything from an umbrella to toothpaste, from bio-chewing gum to family-made soft drinks. Oh, and for when you need to look smart, there’s an ironing station too.
Right in the middle of Vienna’s 3rd Landstraße district: This is one of the city’s up-and-coming entertainment areas and Ruby lives behind the Secessionist-style façade of the renowned former Sofiensäle music hall. It’s a great neighbourhood to explore.
Good stay at a decent price. Very modern.
Cons: Hard to see in the dark halls.
Pros: Very nice room
Cons: The air conditioning was not working in the entire hotel I had to move to another hotel at last minute because too warm in room to sleep In room still smell of fresh paint , hotel not yet finished should be good in the future
