Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfect for Honeymoon. Get everything you need & want in Regis.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Incredible overwater bungalow. Beautiful view. Great comfort. Great staff. Wonderful breakfast buffet.
Cons: Improve choice and quality of Italian restaurant.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Fantastic property. Water is spectacular. 3 main restaurants for dinner are all good. Go for Deluxe overwater bungalow and you won’t be sorry. Beach access and equipment is all good and easily accessible. The beach crew and servers are incredibly nice and helpful. Hard to beat overall. My wife and I commented that this may have ruined all future vacations in different locations as this can’t be compared.
Cons: We stayed 9 days and since the breakfast buffet and the lunch menu are the same, it got old after a few days. So it’s nice to get off property occasionally for variety. Getting off motu is a bit restricted. The complimentary boat leaves at 11am and returns at 2pm. Enough time to grab lunch but not much else. Otherwise they charge $55 per couple to go to the main island, eg for dinner. Also charging $280 US for a couple to have the boat transfer to and from the airport seemed very excessive.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Location, large rooms, good food, great staff, floor viewing panels, bicycles, lovely grounds, first rate room service and housekeepers. If we hadn't been spoiled by Six Senses this would be 5 stars!
Cons: Concierges and butlers need better coordination. Beverage prices need to come down a notch, overwater bungalows need a mild refresh in their finishes.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Exceptionally luxurious, righteously named the best resort worldwide, of course at a hefty price
Cons: For such a luxurious resort there are no brand boutiques. Maybe you should consider bringing some
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything in this hotel is perfect. The staff is so friendly, every day they will greet you like a friend you haven't seen in years and they call you by your name! The food is awesome, breakfast is delicious and the restaurants have the best food I have ever tried in a hotel.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: We love everything, from the location, the place itself, the view, the services, the staffs, the food, and the whole experience there.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The staff on the ground. NOT the managerial team
Cons: Loud music during night. Limited supply of room fresh water. Poor breakfast. Not family friendly: no changing table. My daughter got bitten by insect in bed. Most Staff are very friendly and helpful though. Overall not a bad resort but definitely not luxury as it claims to be.

Good 7.0
Pros: The scenery and the blue water are something amazing that you can’t find anywhere.
Cons: The service was incredibly inconsistent. Constant problems each day with restocking drinks and snacks- which normally wouldn’t be a huge deal, but it’s the only resort in the area with no store on the property, so you can’t just buy some. It leaves you feeling like you’re scrambling to try and find some way to stay hydrated. Our excursions were booked in person with the concierge, but when it came time to leave they didn’t have any record of us having a reservation and had a mess trying to figure out if we could still go. Hardly 5 stars- absolutely not worth $1400 a night. They can afford to have a full time personal concierge for each guest at that price. No welcome treat of any kind, no special treatment in the room each night- which again, would normally never bother you, but when you pay $1400 a night, $200-300 for every meal, $500 for a couples massage etc....you expect they can do quite a bit more than just show you where your room is and say adios until checkout!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location of the bungalows with a view on the mountain is perfect. The in-house swimming pool was stunning. Above all the team has made a very warm welcome upon our arrival and because we had our wedding in a Four Season hotel in France they upgraded us to a wonderful villa. It has been a short but very exciting experience and we would like to come back to this place for a longer experience next time. Everything was perfect and the management has made every efforts to make us feel good and very special.
Cons: Unfortunately the weather was not excellent during our very short stay but the view still worth it
Good 6.3
Pros: The location and the quality of the 3rd party activity operators
Cons: $80 USD for a bowl of greasy noodles. Group of 100+ at the same time, felt like they had taken over. Allot of imported Management Trainees that lack the talent, experience and especially the local knowledge and culture. Very low value for money.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Can't beat this location. The overwater bungalows experience was amazing. To be able to jump into the ocean from your balcony in the morning, rinse off outside and then paddleboard or snorkel to other parts of the resorts and facilities from your room was so fun! Also, being able to use a messaging app for questions and services was very convenient.
Cons: There were some reservations issues for me that were eventually fixed.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Best resort with the best view of Otemanu. Highly recommend it for wedding and honeymoon. The overwater bungalow with Otemanu view is worth it. Service, food, actovities- everything was perfect. Will definitely come back!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: If you are looking to go Bora Bora for a honey moon, anniversary or even just leisure vacation. DO NOT look any further than Le Meridien Hands down is one of the most stunning resorts on this magical island. This resort offers amazing dinner and drink packages (if your on a budget I’d maybe look else where.) Me and my wife felt so at home for the 10 days we were on our honey moon, the staff is TOP notch and cater to your every need 24/7. We were shocked with how much this resort makes you feel like family. We spent most of our time on the beach sipping drinks and just taking in the beauty of the main island. We took a jet ski tour around the whole island and i mean THE WHOOOOLE ISLAND and no resort compared to the le meridien in the aspect of views You couldnt walk anywhere with out a perfect view of the island Weve already decided and agreed that when we decide to come back to Bora Bora Le Meridian will be our spot 100% no if, ands or buts. STUNNING AMAZING GORGEOUS TRIP ( just look at my photos i supplied. (taken on Iphone 8)) Mauruuru! Until next time!
Cons: Not a single thing negative to say!
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The staff and location are incredible.
Cons: The food is good, but too fussy.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Great view of the mountain.
Cons: Could be more vegan options. The cooks here are not used to vegan requests
Excellent 9.5
Pros: We almost. Like everything, overwater bungalows and the staff specially the awesome Mrs Amelie Toullec who made our stay magical and unforgettable .
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Faculty old and food not good
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Location, awesome overwater bungalows-> comfort, privacy, view... speachless!! It is very peaceful, facilities are great and renewed, wellness center with amazing massages, breakfasts are unique!
Cons: The bed and pillows are too soft, for me it was difficult to sleep perfectly. The food at the mediterranean restaurant has room for improvement... not very tasty and small portions! Very expensive transfer fee from and to the airport, taking into consideration the distance. The concierge was absolutely useless, the person was rude and she didn’t help at all. We asked for details not explained in the activity list, and we never got insightful comments. At the end we waited until next day to talk to a different concierge.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fantastic location with mountain view (we had the over water bungalows). Bungalows were comfortable and the resort has a great white sand beach (the sand in the water is amazing). They have a great turtle centre which is free to visit, a huge list of activities - we did the snorkeling tour with ‘Crazy’ recommended by the concierge which was great; and the jet ski tour. I’d recommend the beach restaurant for dinner.
Cons: Nothing major really. Maybe the wine list could have been more extensive (both by the glass and bottle). Also, we found the transfer shuttle price from the airport by boat quite high (c. 120 USD per person) though it is somehow expected

Pros: I loved the villas so much! They're renovated and clean and beautiful. The pool was lovely, and the whole property is gorgeous.
Cons: I did not like the service. There are some bits and pieces that could have been better such as in-room dining order, gave the employee the order 3 times slowly and they yet brought it wrong after 40 minutes. We were charged for late checkout although the concierge booked us an activity that morning that ends after the checkout time and although I am an Hilton honors member. I just expected these details are considered since the rates for the property are considered in the higher-end.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The bungalow is just amazing
Cons: Nothing, it was perfect in every way
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Our overwater bungalow looked exactly as it did in the pictures - it was huge, modern, spotless and overall, just stunning! Davin was super helpful during check-in and we enjoyed exploring the beautiful property and jumping into the water. Dinner at the French restaurant was tasty and the pina colada at the pool really was the best I've ever had. It was our first time to Bora Bora and we split or time between Conrad and another resort to experience another motu/island views. While the other resort was nice, our preference is definitely the Conrad :)
Cons: Our only gripe would be transport fees getting to/from the resort island. For what you're paying for a room, seems silly that costs like airport transfers aren't built into room rates. French Polynesia is expensive in general so be prepared to spend money - totally worth it at the Conrad :)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We were very happy we chose this property for our stay in Bora Bora. The staff, service, food, and overall feel of the resort left nothing to be desired. There are enough activities to keep you entertained for quite a while - free kayaks, snorkeling gear, SUPs, bikes, tennis courts, put-put golf, and of course, the gorgeous beach and pool. Some of the best snorkeling we had all trip was around the pillars supporting the overwater bungalows. There is a TON of coral and more fish than I’ve ever seen in my life. The food everywhere was very good but breakfast and the sushi bar were our favorites. The drinks were definitely pricey so we stopped at a grocery store after taking the water taxi to Bora Bora to pick up a few beverages to offset the damage. All in all, I would absolutely stay here again.
Cons: I wouldn’t say these are things I didn’t like, just things I would want to be aware of as a traveler. This resort doesn’t face Mount Otemanu, while other properties like the St. Regis and Four Seasons face it directly. There is a beautiful lookout by the spa that just requires a brief walk uphill to get to. Well worth the view. Since this resort is on a small motu, you need to book a tour or water taxi ($14/person round trip) to get off the resort. Again, neither were negatives, just FYIs.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Quiet and confortable
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Special thanks to Mathilde in particular who helped coordinate and arrange a beautiful dinner on the balcony of our overwater bungalow for our engagement. Our stay could not have been more perfect thanks to her team and Rudolph too. The room was extremely comfortable and we loved the Bluetooth surround-sound music system in all parts of the room. The grounds are lovely as well and we had a great time cycling around exploring the different areas of the resort. Not to mention the range of water activities available too which capped off a life-changing trip
Cons: Nothing to complain about
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The property is beautiful, and we were really impressed with our overwater villa. The food at the French restaurant was good, and it was okay at the sushi bar. The Chinese restaurant is... American Chinese food. Staff were friendly, professional and provided good service on the whole.
Cons: We had arranged externally for a deep sea fishing trip without the resort’s help because the activities desk did not provide a shorter duration option. There was a little hiccup with our payment process and when we asked for assistance from the Conrad Bora Bora’s concierge, they suggested charging us their listed rate for the activity which was a different pricing tier for a longer trip. It was only after 30 min of asking why they would charge us for a 4h activity when we are going on a 3h trip - effectively extracting a +US$200 fee for the activity to be charged to the room instead of a 5% concierge fee like they claim they charge on all activities - that they relented. Notwithstanding, it still left a bad taste. 30 min of our life wasted that ate into our excursion time and reflects how rigid the system is.

Excellent 9.2
Pros: The facilities, staff and wonderful location.
Cons: The price is very expensive as the most of places in Bora Bora
Excellent 10.0
Pros: All around amazing location and hotel.
Cons: Don’t need to have a charge for everything, even the coffee in the room wasn’t free. That’s my only gripe tho, everything else was superb.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The setting was a dream in a bungalow over the palest aqua crystal clear lagoon. The bungalow was lovely as well, private, quiet and with an overwater deck.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Super friendly staff, I have poor mobility and everyone from the guys on the boat from airport to every one at the resort could not do enough for us/me. Breakfast was great as was the meals in the restaurant.
Cons: Fairly.isolated but that's Bora Bora
Good 7.0
Pros: Amenities, local show, food and drinks were great. Bed was incredible.
Cons: The shower needed a door or curtain as showering was resulting in water going everywhere. We asked for turn downs and never received them! Plus the service side from catering needs improvement.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The staff is very helpful: they try to accommodate your every need. The concierge service offers a variety of activities. When we arrived, we have been offered 50% off breakfast if we take breakfast every day of our stay. It was totally worth it! Breakfasts were very good. The rooms, the beds, the pillows(!) are very comfortable. We stayed 4 nights in beach bungalow and 1 night in over the water one. Both were very good, but the experience in the over the water bungalow was incredible.
Cons: We liked everything. Of coarse, it was expensive, but we knew about it .
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We stayed for only one night but this resort was truly outstanding! It is rated 4 stars because it has one restaurant, but we feel it deserves a 5-star facility rating. We stayed in 2 overwater bungalows and one land bungalow, and our entire family from the kids to grandma were completely bowled over by the wonderful rooms, the beautiful and safe beach, and above all, the staff! The warm and friendly staff members were exceptional! They made us feel special and feel at home, even if it was just for one night. This is a gem of a resort.
Cons: Nothing!

Excellent 8.8
Pros: The hotel is incredibly beautiful with excellent location in front of the Mt Otemanu (views are top). The rooms (overwater bungalow) are huge, clean and super comfortable. The excursion with Lagoonservices is a must (probably the best we have done in our entire trip to Polynesia). We really enjoyed this hotel and despite the high price it has been a great experience!
Cons: Some of the staff is a bit robotic (specially at the Concierge), they lack the passion and experience for a hotel of this kind. I guess many of them are just freshly graduated who come here to do their intern and do not have long term thinking and customer obsession as they should. The food is extremely expensive and the dinner buffet is below the bar in many aspects (a La Carte was much better option, very expensive too). These are some details the hotel should look to improve, but overall we had a great experience.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Liked the villa. It was large and beautiful! Workers friendly and helpful.
Cons: Food was so/so
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything, great place, paradise
Cons: They charge you for everything...
Excellent 8.8
Cons: It's a great place, but it's absolutely ridiculous that you must pay the coffee capsules from the room, when you have paid a beast for the room. It's ridiculous. Also the transport of the airport to the Hotel is very expensive and I think it should be included in the room price.
Good 7.0
Pros: Spacious overwater bungalow & we enjoyed our private pool. The view of the mountain was nice and Claude at the bar was so much fun to chat with! She really made us feel welcome and we shared many laughs with her. Beautiful property and we also liked the activities at the hotel like mini traditional dance classes and the live music for their new years celebration.
Cons: There wasn't anything major that we didn't like at Thalasso. However, we'd stayed at another Bora Bora resort prior that we absolutely loved so it's hard not to compare the two. It edged Thalasso out when it came to the room arrival experience, modernness of the overwater bungalow, hotel pool and food. We were driven to our room in a bit of a rush and the person who dropped us off didn't give us a full tour of the room. We liked the more personal touch at the previous resort and found it helpful. Our Thalasso bungalow was lovely but way less modern and missed some elements the other resort had (for example bluetooth speakers). We also didn't like the villa layout as much and missed having a swim up bar at the hotel pool - though we recognize that Thalasso seems to be more family friendly hotel as only kids were in the pool.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Over water villas were to the highest standard. Lovely touch having our own pool on our villa. Fixtures and fittings in our room were very classy and finished to a high standard. The food was amazing. Views were out of this world. Our villa was not overlooked by anyone, so privacy was great. They really have thought of everything to make your stay special. Bed was massive and very comfortable. Pillows were just how I like them. Air con was very quite and got cool fast.
Cons: Can not think of one thing.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Bungalows are huge and beautiful ! The iconic image of Mt.Otemanu is amazing !! Grounds are beautiful - limited tho. Everything is picture perfect !! However wouldn't recommend swimming in the waters surrouding this hotel..
Cons: On our second day I have spent lots of time in this beautiful but milky jade water /no great visibility really, nor fish/. Towards the evening I developed such a terrible and painful skin rash that I've never experienced before. The whole of my body was covered in hives other the part protected by rash vest. Couldn't sleep - such a pain. The very next morning I've asked the girl at the concierge to helped me to organise a boat transfer and then taxi to see a doctor on main land, she was helpful but wasn't concerned at all about my condition. No extra questions asked, I thought maybe it will be good for them to know more so they can warned other people staying at the resort. But no, she din't have much time for me as she was busy with other corporative tasks on her comp. On the main island doctor said - lately she already saw about 10 other people with the same skin reaction and she believes it's because of the a very hot temperatures lately and water getting really warm causing the growth of some sort of algae. /The water around IC Thalasso doesn't mix much with fresh ocean water/ She prescribed me 3 types of steroids /one of them I'm still taking even already back home/ and recommended avoiding water and sun!!!!???? That's the whole point of the holidays in Bora Bora!, isn't it ???!! I still had 6 days left !!! Felt like crying.. Hotel stuff didn't react at all, didn't apologise or anything, didn't offer to pay for the doctor trip, they had no interest whatsoever. They are very polite, but corporation like feel.. I wonder how many people have they actually warned after I've told them about my incident.. The whole Resort is beautiful but it somehow feels like mass production.. Ohh and they give you 2 smallest bottle of water per day for 2 people!!

Pros: Hotel location and how hotel peacefuly looks like is amazing. Sleaping at water bungalow in very fluffy bed was nice experience.
Cons: Restaurant, kitchen and bar stuff should be more professional at 5* hotel because they look like they was at work first day...
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing hotel, beautiful big rooms with nice facilities. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Superb location.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Lovely setting, beautiful views, great staff, restaurant was good, free use of kayaks, paddle boards, snorkels etc was excellent. Room service finished at 10pm which was a little strange, but the privacy and beautiful setting outweigh that minor quibble.
Cons: Room service open longer (or the bar open longer). Sunset taxi to mainland leaving 10 - 20 mins after sunset rather than 5 mins (so you can enjoy the views from mainland a bit longer). Other than that excellent!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfect!!!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Being on a private island is just stunning, the lagoon with all its shades of blue is unlike anything I had seen before! With only 30 rooms, Sofitel provides intimacy and privacy and it is an absolute must to take an over the water bungalow when the scenery is as gorgeous as from this place. Special thanks to Pipi for always taking care of us during meals. All staff were so friendly and welcoming, every need catered to, the small gifts in the room each day (sweet treats) were delicious.
Cons: We travelled all the way from Europe and it was my dream holiday destination which does not come at a cheap price. For that, we felt that the accommodation is quite overpriced. We fully acknowledge that life on these islands is more expensive and leads to more expensive meals/beverages but the cost of the room was not reflected in its quality. However, we loved every moment at the hotel!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Everything except the food
Cons: Food! The lunch menu is ok! The dinner horrible and pricy! I had amazing fruit mangos and papaias in a guest house! What I got here for the tropical plate ...apples grapes, melon and watermelon with no flavor and 2 tiny slices of pineapple...

Pros: This property was closed when we visited, we were moved to the Sofitel private island resort. I think we would have preferred this option over private island

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely complex, very friendly staff, deluxe houses, cleanliness, tranquility, very good breakfast, delicious food, funny Polynesian dinner! Thank you in particular Benji ! Dream Hotel
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Excellent staff - very friendly, willing to share information even related to other hotels. First free mini-bar experience in my life...lovely treats from time to time and transit fee is 1/3 of intercontinental's but even better service and small gifts. Definitely a top pick after staying at different resorts in bora bora. We also got free upgrade to Sofitel private island due to renovation at Marara.
Good 7.5
Pros: Thanks to the Maitai team who were nice and helpful, we rested well.
Cons: We would have liked to have stayed at this resort where we had booked. When we arrived, we found out, that Sofitel had been repaired and we were redirected to the other resort, which was not worthy of Sofitel and was not our choice. We got an upgrade room (in the local gategorie), thank you for that, but unfortunately we missed what we wanted and had booked.
Mediocre 2.9
Pros: We did not stay at the Sofitel. It was under renovation and we were rebooked at the Le Meridian. That is why I gave a fair rating. We did stay at the Sofitel in Papeete prior to Bora Bora and were thrilled with the hotel. We would definitely book there again.
Cons: It was a bit pricey for the food and drinks.

Good 6.2
Pros: Staff was helpful
Cons: Wifi did not work Was on a hill side Bugs in room
Excellent 8.0
Pros: We had a frankly breathtaking view from our ocean-view room. The room was perfect for our needs with a great balcony, large bed, lots of space and fridge and kettle. Hotel is excellently situated near Matira beach with shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel's own beach is nice and the coral garden behind the sofitel island is easily accessible with the hotel's kayaks for excellent snorkelling. Enjoying breakfast on our terrace and drinks in the evening with such a stunning view was a real highlight.
Cons: The standard at this hotel is not quite as high as at the sister hotel in Huahine.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff at Maitai Hotel ALL went above and beyond to make sure our needs were seen to. Wonderful, hard working staff!
Cons: Nothing - it was great
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice room clean and very friendly and helpful staff will book again next time
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff at the front desk are the best team from all the 4 islands visited they have all in control superb service thanks Maururu
Good 7.9
Cons: too expensive for a 3*** star hotel. the beach is so small, enough only for 10-12 persons
Good 7.0
Pros: The location, the hours of the restaurant, the welcome juice and complimentary cocktail, the views, the coral right in the lagoon, the ease of renting a bicycle or moped, the friendliness of staff. the beach, the quietness of the hotel
Cons: The slowness of staff to respond to requests, the minimum amount of options for eating/transportation on Bora Bora, the process to just get internet access, the lack of a separate concierge from the front desk staff, the roosters that roamed the property, the appearance of the main dining area, the late shuttle to pick us up from the airport, the hidden fee for the airport shuttle
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We stayed in hotel for 5 days and we really enjoyed it. We had a room with the ocean view and the view of the Bora Bora lagoon was really magnificient. We spent hours in the balcony. (I recommend to add some money and take the ocean view room instead of the garden view.) The hotel is nice and clean, the staff very professional. The garden is beautifull. The hotel beach is small but really nice. Furthermore, there are some corals just meters in the ocean with colored fish such as butterflyfish, angelfish, lagoon triggerfish and some more. If not enough for you, in 15 minutes walking distance there is the famous Matira beach. The hotel price is affordable when compared to other hotels in Bora Bora. Highly recommended!
Cons: Sometimes it was not so easy to connect to Internet.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The view from our balcony in the hillside unit provided a beautiful view of the beach and the lagoon and beyond.
Cons: We would have appreciated more towels.
