Pros: it is a wonderful property, great area very careful and very cozy!!

Pros: Basically everything, from the relaxing atmosphere to the hammock, the host Gilberto who drove me around anytime I needed to go somewhere nearby or called a taxi for long range outings, and the star of the place: Mel the labrador. She's very friendly (slept under my bed every night) and robs shoes in exchange for treats. I had so many varieties of treats in my room that it looked like a cross between a pet shop and a shoe store, as she brought me everyone's shoes for trade. Come prepared or get used to hanging your flip-flops somewhere high.

Cons: Nothing to declare.

Pros: Wonderful people and beautiful place. We will definitley stay there again:)

Cons: Quite poor service. Staff not particularly helpful, very poor or no English. Internet hardly functioning. No cafetería no bar at the hotel. In the evening, the restaurant opens only at 7pm. Next to impossible to get a taxi early in the morning, even if reassurances were given that there were always taxis available.

Pros: The service and staff were both very good. The location is a bit out and away from the beach, however, the hotel itself is first class.

Cons: The cost for a taxi to get downtown.

Pros: Great stay. Great breakfast. My family loved it as well. Would definitely come back!

Pros: the hotel had a wonderful ambiance, sitting by the pool was very pleasant and wifi worked great on the grounds. my room was clean and comfortable and it came with a wet bar. staff were friendly and breakfast was provided.

Cons: Driving into salvador at night by car is a challenge. Its not very far but very confusing....

Pros: Friendly staff, good location, quiet and comfortable.

Cons: Pool shower didn’t work. We had to clean off the sand from the beach in our own rooms, which got dirty, naturally. Door handle was loose and kept falling. We believe with a little effort, the place could get a higher mark.

Pros: The property was ok, but there weren’t enough towels and when I went to ask for more the staff was a bit rude about it.

Cons: I did not like the breakfast because they had some weird rule about having only some items and not being able to provide what we needed. Very limited not worthy of the price.

Pros: This place was beyond my expectations! The staff where awesome and the everything was more than perfect. Their breakfast will feed you all day too. This was the best hotel I’ve chosen during my travels to date

Pros: Location is spectacular. Absolutely loved this place, great place to unwind. Had the apartment facing the ocean, literally a stone throw from the water and 180 degree view. The staff are really nice, they are very helpful and create a very welcoming atmosphere. It is a very secure and safe place, the pool is really nice. Breakfast is really good, at the moment because of Covid It is brought to your apartment, in normal times I guess you would go to the breakfast room. Beach in front of hotel is great as when the sea is out little pools form which are great for kids... Highly recommend Pousada Restinga, we will be back in 2021!

Cons: Pousada does suffer from being beneath flight path from nearby airport, It didn't trouble me but some people might find it noisy.

Pros: The rooms have fridge, kitchen and place to wash clothes. Good place to stay with small kids.

Cons: Too close to the highway so quite noisy and too many floors...only found a decent room in the upper floors. Breakfast is pretty cheap and there is someone surveilling...not sure why. Are they afraid of people stealing their cheap bread?

Pros: Our room had a nice view to the spacious pool area. We were allowed to do an early check in which was very nice. The hotel ist close to the beach and only 15 minutes to the airport. It has a lot of parking space.

Cons: The room wasn’t very clean (especially the bathroom) and the air conditioner was broken and water dripped constantly on the floor, so that we had to change the room. This should have already been seen and reported by the housekeeping - very poor service in my opinion. In both rooms the safe wasn’t working. The staff tried to give its best, but for a business hotel in this price range, we expect more flexibility, competence and friendliness.

Pros: Wonderful, cozy location, close to a great beach. Town is nearby with everything you need. The pool, sitting area and room were all just lovely, as was the breakfast. friendly staff and even monkeys and birds jumping around!

Cons: We strongly recommend people not to have dinner at the hotel; the food was lousy! furthermore, the nreakfast was the worst we had during one month of travelling through Brazil; tasteless juices, old fruit, lousy cakes and so on...definitively disgusting.

Pros: it was nice. the staff was very friendly and helpful. There are many nice restaurants nearby. And (if you’re a fan) there’s also a McDonald’s right in front of the hotel.

Cons: I didn’t like that the reception / breakfast and the actual hotel (the rooms the guests stay in) were in different places (the rooms are in a different location; 2 buildings over ) i imagine that ir it were raining this would be really obnoxious. also, the access is by stairs and I’m not sure if there’s anybody to help you with your bags (but there probably is) other than that, it was fine!

Pros: This time it was acceptable, there was no crazy-loud noise from construction like last time. Everyone acted polite and professional.

Cons: The fact that this hotel is totally unpredictable. We have stayed there many times over a period of years. Sometimes it is terrible in many ways. Hotels in general tend to be like this these days, but this place seems to have a bi-polar disorder when it comes to knowing what to expect. We don't gamble, and this is not a casino hotel, but it feels like gambling when you stay there, wondering if something major is going to go wrong like it has in the past. Our last stay there was a disaster of extremely loud construction noise with loud jackhammers they were using to break walls for construction in the hallway just outside our door. I complained in English to the front desk, and to the workers, but no one understood or cared and they kept doing it for hours after briefly stopping.

Pros: The staff were really helpful, and charming. The system were a bit involved and it was more like a holiday camp. I suppose I should of expected that

Cons: Breakfast was cancelled (because Covid) although the same venue was serving lunch. No soap in the rooms because they had ran out and nobody had the common sense to go to the supermarket and buy more.

Pros: A beautiful beach next hotel, a place very comfortable, with supermarket, restaurants and rotisserie two or five blocks from hotel. Very good.
