Excellent 10.0
Pros: Finca Valentina is one of the best places I have ever stayed. A little outside Salta, the location is stunning, staff are friendly and professional, plus the finca is beautifully designed. We took the horse riding one morning too (we are total beginners) I would really recommend this. Dinner at the Finca also superb. 10/10.
Cons: The whole experience was fantastic!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Beautiful, charming
Cons: Breakfast
Excellent 10.0
Pros: One o the most beautiful hotel we have been to! Everything is just perfect. Confort of the rooms, kindness of the staff, food (we loved the dinners there and not having to go anywhere), the garden, the pool. Fantastic option when in Salta.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Wonderful dinner. Very comfortable room. Small but nice pool. Relaxing ambiance. Great to spend one night.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We stayed in the suite on the 1st floor (no elevator, only 1 stair). Just for 1 night, but would have loved to stay another day. It's a beautiful and charming place, great view onto the garden and the mountains, swimmingpool, and with a warm welcome from the staff. Our suite had a private terrace, where we enjoyed a good glass of wine and some snacks after a day of traveling. Bed, shower and bathroom great. And dinner and breakfast also . It's a bit out of Salta town, so it is best to have a car or, as in our case, being picked up the next day for our travel in the region.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Relaxing, beautiful and quality stay - food was delicious, staff helpful and all together a lovely stay. We stayed 4 adults and 2 children.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely room, great pool, breakfast, very quiet and peaceful. Wish we had stayed longer!
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: The views and physical grounds
Cons: Truly awful and overpriced food and lodging. The pool was never cleaned/full of bugs. 6 recliners for a hotel that holds up to 40 people. While the staff was polite, if you want any type of food/drink service by the pool, you need to go into the building to request it. You only need 2 nights max in Salta. Do not recommend this place unless you want to be overcharged. Unfortunately there aren’t many (any?) luxury lodging choices in Salta
Excellent 8.8
Cons: Food was pretty mediocre
Excellent 9.0
Pros: A fantastic place in the middle of the countryside, decorated with an excellent taste. You feel like if you were at home. Heated pool which it's fantastic because you can swim all the year.
Cons: The place is beautiful but the outside was not so well maintained for a so charming place. There were weeds on the terraces, the pool was not perfectly painted but it was probably because it's the beginning of the season.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Beautiful quiet countryside, perfect for a break from the city. Rooms beautifully designed and very comfortable
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Secluded, elegant, relaxing
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Place, staff, rooms, food, all impeccable.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Beautiful place, esspecialy the garden. Great staff. Very good food.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Beautiful Estancia just outside Salta, very peaceful, beautiful room (once we upgraded to a junior suite). The location is fabulous if you’re looking to explore the beautiful surrounding area, the drive to Cafayate is spectacular and worth doing.
Cons: Service tended to be a bit slow but the real annoyance here are the lack of sunloungers and shade around the pool area, apart from that we had a great stay
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Totally magic place
Excellent 10.0
Pros: House of Jasmines is an estancia in the outskirts of Salta providing guests with peace and tranquility during their stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, speaking English, French and Spanish and maybe other languages that I am unaware of. Our suite was very comfortable, looking out over a beautiful garden setting. The king-size bed was also very comfortable. The meals and wine in the restaurant were excellent as was the service from the staff. During our 5-night stay, there was live music on 2 nights -Jazz and folkloric. We enjoyed a great massage with Rosia and Gloria in the Spa, which is well appointed and clean.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The owners were amazingly kind and helpful it’s fantastic value for money
Cons: That I couldn’t stay longer!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Excellent location for Salta airport and also close to the motorway. The communal spaces are fantastic. Breakfast included make-your-own orange juice press, which was fantastic.
Cons: The pool was large but not very clean- water appeared a bit green. The apartment's kitchen was very dated and I would not feel comfortable preparing meals there. A/C only in one bedroom. Bring earplugs if you are light sleeper as the noise of the cicadas in the evening is deafening.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Very helpful and dedicated host. Cozy and huge country style hostel: great atmosphere. Two minutes away from airport.
Excellent 10.0
Cons: Clean and friendly. Very quiet and relaxing place near the airport. It would be a nice place to stay for a few days
Excellent 10.0
Pros: very close to the airport and only 10 km to Salta. Staff very frinedly and welcoming. Equipemnts are very nice ( swimming pool and playground for the kids)
Cons: Nil
Good 7.5
Pros: Comfortable, clean & people extremely helpful. So good to be able to get some lovely food & drink even arriving late! Thank you!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great people, a lot of space to relax and kids to run around. Great pool, good food and nice family rooms. 5 mins drive from airport but no noise issues.
Cons: Internet was weak and playground needed constant attention by parents as it is on concrete and all metal slides, swings, etc
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We booked here mainly because we wanted to be close to the airport. The place exceeded our expectations. Very large garden area with several places to sit outside. Nice swimming pool. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Friendly host. They also have a small menu in case you don’t want to go to town to eat.
Cons: Located at one of the main roads, so at times a little noisy if you sit in the garden area near the entrance. But the place is big enough to find yourself a quiet spot.

Pros: The breakfast was different to what we are used to.The fruit juice and coffee were fine with 2 small rolls of ham and cheese. Not used to biscuits or cake for breakfast. Great host. A very secure place to stay. short walk to the square to get meals or chemist
Cons: the hotel is a fair way out of the city when you consider the banking and most things are in central Salta and you need to get a taxi most times.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: İt was really nice hotel to stay. Hotel is new and nice. Especialy hospiyality is really good.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Great owners, great staff, lovely weaving/artisan motif, ultra clean and modern, really good value and extremely helpful, super breakfast. Really good experience.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: I loved this hotel because it provided a comfortable and relaxing haven after a day of touring the city. The building is brand new, has great style and was always clean - especially my room. I rented a car so it was convenient to have a space inside to park.
Cons: I did NOT enjoy the breakfast. Nothing was fresh and it all came wrapped as a kids meal - a juice in a box and bread in plastic wrapping. Even though the breakfast is included in the price of our stay and I do enjoy this for simplicity during my travels, it did not make me feel good that it all came at the expense of the food’s quality and the environment. Definitely something they should be rethinking, especially if they want to present an image of sustainability.
Okay 5.4
Pros: Hard to review. However, we left early and shifted to Kkala hotel (which is much more expensive, and much better). This is kind of a hostel feeling with private bathrooms. I imagine if I was a backpacker looking to splurge (a little) on a nicer place for a night, this would probably be fine. It's kind of ... OK. If you're looking for a hotel-like experience, this is not for you. The people are nice however, just not super-nice facilities. Its... OK.
Cons: Breakfast is terrible. South America, coffee bags? Room not super clean, more dusty than anything.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Lovely room with balcony
Cons: Require more variety in breakfast

Pros: The owner is very friendly
Cons: The bathroom are small
Good 7.9
Pros: The check in was very good, calm and detailed
Cons: The facilities were not in the best shape
Okay 5.0
Pros: Cheap
Cons: The manager was rude, the atmosphere wasn't good, he asked us to clean things that is obviously the staff's job. He wanted us to pay extra to stay in the hostel's areas (kitchen, balcony) after chek out.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: - comfortable beds - clean - hot showers - good kitchen facilities - great and lovely staff - i recommend this hostel
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: friendly check in, free map, location is in a quiet street away from the busy centre but still close to everything. It felt safe
Cons: I stayed in a basic single room which I wouldn't recommend. The window was facing the kitchen and a huge rubbish bin which was used by the whole hostel. I could hear a smell everything from the kitchen and the kitchen light kept lighting up my room. The place seems rundown and I woke up with many many bites of some bugs. I saw some other rooms which looked in better condition but I wouldn't stay there again. I am sure they are trying their best but the bites were unacceptable.
Good 7.1
Pros: Marcelo is a very nice man. I arrived late at night and didn't have enough cash for the whole cost. As mentioned the area doesn't feel the safest so I didn't want to walk to the ATM. He was happy for me to pay tomorrow. Very friendly and accommodating (speaks minimal English)
Cons: Area felt a little unsafe to wall around at night. Had some issues with payment - two of us arrived at the same time both having booked on the same day. we both were given different exchange rates and it was tricky to sort out and very uncomfortable. Because of this and a lack of transparency about price I wouldn't return although the place is good value for what you pay (basic but comfortable)

Pros: Communication is good and they use WhatsApp
Cons: It looks better on the pictures as it is in real. Does not look very clean, lots of wear and tears. The glass of the window of the living room was broken and left as it is, therefore dangerous for kids if the touch the window. Also shower a bit old and leaks and bathroom floor wet when you rake a shower.
Good 7.9
Pros: Good value for money. Great location in the centre of the city. Parking spot was also a plus. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Good 7.5
Pros: Excellent location and very friendly staff.
Cons: The stove in the kitchen didn't work and the kitchen weren't equipped with the tools to make a simple dinner.

Okay 5.0
Pros: There’s a heater in the room but it only worked after 8pm.
Cons: No towels, no soap, only a roll of toilet paper provided. Only a shower curtain separating the toilet and the space for shower. However after a shower, the floor turned wet everywhere in the bathroom. No hangers, no boiling cattle. Just a double bed with a so-called bathroom.
Good 7.5
Pros: Good value for money, large rooms, nice outside space.
Cons: Very loud as the rooms aren't soundproofed, kept awake until 3 am. The bed was not a proper mattress just foam, so very uncomfortable.
Okay 4.6
Pros: Staff is friendly
Cons: Really dark rooms. Breakfast is a biscuit. No towels. Matras is foam, sleeps very bad. Big group of noisy people during our stay
Excellent 9.6
Pros: A friendly environment and the staff were very helpful.
Cons: The cold water tap didn’t work in my shower
Good 7.0
Pros: Breakfast is good, And the overall hostel is nice.
Cons: Rooms are small and old and not necessarily comfy, especially doubles. The staff was not really helpful, but we were there at NYE, and nobody was working on that day. It is indeed 15 minutres from the centre.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Ahhhm. Not a lot. The wifi was better than some places we’ve been. Private bathroom tidied each day. The staff we approached for help did their best and were mostly friendly. But if you don’t speak any Spanish you’ll have a hard time. Location was ok, about 5 blocks or 15 min walk from centre.
Cons: This place had a rating of 8 when we booked. Not sure how they managed that. Photos made it look far more tidy and inviting than it actually was. It was dark and dingy with a dangerous lack of lighting at night, and messy for the most part with ash trays and empty bottles lying around all over the show. Much like a student flat. The kitchen was run down and filthy and not well equipped as stated. With signs saying the facilities were for ‘restaurant’ use only. Confusing. The fridge was horrendous with old food scattered throughout and water in the bottom somehow. The freezer door was hanging off its hinges. We were reluctant to try cooking in there cause of filth and lack of equipment. Breakfast was indeed 2 stale biscuits (1 biscuit if they’re running low) with a dollop of apricot jam, as mentioned in other reviews. I didn’t believe it at first.. ‘Breakfast’ is also from 8am, too late for many tours you may be doing, even if you do happen to want those biscuits for their calorific value. The room we had, a four bed suite, was tidy enough but the beds were painful after 4 nights, ok for one night I guess. The private bathroom was ok but the shower ran onto the floor so the whole room floor got wet. Not ideal. All the taps I came across leaked and were hard to use cause the washers were all knackered. A plumber could be busy for a month in this place. Meanwhile there are stickers stating to conserve water... Possibly the most annoying thing was that our room only had a multi-board screwed to the wall for power points. Four points on this multi-board and only one of the points worked. The rest were faulty so to charge our devices required taking turns. The points were also well off the ground with nothing to rest your phone on. With some renovations done to address the above issues of disfunction and disrepair and some rules and regulations for messy guests and some policing of said rules, (maybe new management?) this place could be quite nice.

Good 6.7
Pros: The hotel was very close to the airport, which is exactly why we booked it. Only a 5 min drive and the 24hour front desk was great to be able to get us a taxi at 3am! Good place to get ready the night before flying but wouldn’t stay much longer.
Cons: Our check in was hopeless. We pretty much weren’t acknowledged properly or spoken to. When we arrived a man at the desk just handed us a key and pointed us to a room on the first floor. Our room was so hot and uncomfortable, especially sleeping at night & the air-con didn’t work at all. Our room was so noisy- we felt like we had the kitchen and dining room right outside our door. I suggest asking for another room if you get 112.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The beds and pillows were comfortable. The room was large. The bathroom was spacious and well equipped. The location was perfect for a quick overnight near the airport. The location was very quiet. Well worth the money.
Cons: The TV shelf was placed so that you had to be very careful not to bump your head, especially in the dark.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The property is very close to the airport and ideal for a 6 am flight.
Cons: It’s an airport hotel . No restaurant facility around, no “style”. Evening meal was good but rather pricey.
Mediocre 2.9
Pros: It‘s close to the airport
Cons: No wifi Very dirty Only cold water Dirty floor, stains on the curtains and nasty bed
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Great place for a quick overnight stop. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They put an extra mattress in our room for our 4 year old. The pool was a welcome distraction for our kids after a day of travelling
Good 6.3
Pros: Very basic hotel close to the airport.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I really like the location of the hotel, because we wanted to stay near the airport. For visiting the city of Salta is probably not so convenient. Pool was excellent, clean, temperature of water was great, not crowdy. We didn't use their meal options, only breakfast, and it was fine.
Okay 5.4
Pros: The property is close to the airport and has parking.
Cons: There was no hot water in the morning.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Excellent price for the place. Comfortable beds, easy check in (even before time). Excellent breakfast! We had dinner at their cafeteria too. Food was delicious for the price and abundant. With the portion of one can easily eat too. Great pizza!! It remind me my Italian dad!!
Cons: nothing

Pros: The bed was comfortable and we got free medialunas and coffee for breakfast.
Cons: We had an agreement to pay in USD for the room and the excursions, but upon our arrival late in the evening they told us they only accept pesos. They insisted on paying immediately for one night and for one tour so we had no other choice but to exchange money with another guest. Also we found out that we were overpaying the tours for about 200 pesos (8 eur) per tour per person comparing to people who booked the same tour from other hostels. Our room had a private bathroom but it was so dirty that I had to shower in flipflops it was also stinky and moldy. There was no wifi in the room but it was unstable even on the common area.

Pros: The position both near the center and near most real (not touristic) part of the town
Cons: They have changed price in 2 days from 40 to almost 60 euro ( justifying it for wrong change of exchange rates in ars) and request 10% more paying with card
Good 7.9
Pros: Excelent staff and location!
Cons: Small window in the room.
Good 7.1
Pros: Stuff was very friendly and helpful. Location is great, walking distance to the main “plaza” and lots of restaurants.
Cons: Beds were not comfortable and the walls between rooms are very thin, so we could hear almost everything from people staying next door. During breakfast, coffee was good but toasts were hard and impossible to eat.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was really good to stay there. Staff was friendly and helpfull all the time. Clean and quite place. House keeping works everyday. Breakfast was good.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: This was a fantastic bargain for a big, clean, private room with a private bathroom. The location was quite convenient and the staff were all friendly enough.
Cons: I have no complaints (other than the lock on the door to the room, which didn't seem very secure).
Good 7.9
Pros: The staff were very nice and extremely helpful. They had no problems helping whatsoever. They are also very flexible. The hotel itself and the room was nice and in good condition. Breakfast was good and offered different options. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the centre square and the directions are very straightforward.
Cons: The only problem I had throughout my stay was the smell in the bathroom upon my arrival. However, everything else was really good.
Good 7.1
Pros: Room was clean and got cleaned at day time. Wifi is ok.
Cons: Breakfast is not as good as some say in rating. Room was fine, but dont expect anything fancy
Good 7.5
Pros: Service and breakfast was good, location is great. Shower was nice and warm.
Cons: Everything in the hotel is a bit too old and uses , but thats okay for the reasonable price. However the double bed was really uncomfortable and, it literally had a big whole in the middle. Better and cleaner metrasses would improve the experience a lot.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location was very good. Breakfast was fine with a good selection and staff were helpful. Room was comfortable and quiet
Cons: For the price, everything was satisfactory

Good 7.9
Pros: Very clean all over. Big bathroom and good bed.
Cons: Unfortunately, it’s a long way from the centre and the terminal. And there is NO kitchen to use.
Good 7.1
Pros: Room had a gas heater which was on on my arrival and wow it was hot. Too hot after turning to low, so I kept it off for the remainder of my stay and was a good temperature for me.. Nice to have it though for sure warm is better here than freezing as it's often been where I've stayed! Location is not far but a bit further out from center, but good that it's a quiet area so I find that best for me to walk a short way extra. Staff were friendly and helpful, when I asked for black coffee one morning whilst waiting for my tour they made it as well as hot water for my matte de coca that evening. They arranged laundry for me nearby which was convenient. Seemed a bit expensive at 250pesos for couple of kg, but I've been traveling in Peru and Bolivia so maybe it's standard price here in Argentina The shower was hot and basically worked ok..
Cons: On arrival tried to charge me the additional tax for locals and residents, i politely explained that's not how it works and was ok.. Not sure this was purposefully done or not, it's pretty simple to understand.. Anyway.. The usual lack of toilet paper, soap, towels in the shared bathrooms. The lock to the toilet door was missing by looks of it.. Not just broken. Would be nice to have these simple things really with any accommodation, but seems common in South America. I was pretty sure I had breakfast included for my first night through booking.com for the single room I booked.. But after I enquired what it actually included was just the usual uninteresting bread and jam.. So I thought I'll pass anyway and spend the extra 2$ elsewhere.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Wifi was fast, bed confortable, quiet location
Cons: They charge us VAT when foreign tourists dont pay VAT în Argentina. Early check out at 10.00 am. Far location from the city center.

Excellent 9.6
Pros: Everything was OK for the price, central location and very helpful stuff.
Okay 5.4
Pros: The staff were nice and let me defer payment, as they didn't except dollars or cards and I didn't have enough pesos. The location is good for both the centre of town and the bus terminal, but it is quite overnight.
Cons: I didn't expect much for such a cheep room, so was surprised to be so disappointed! The bathroom was in very poor repair - there was a leak under the sink that made quite a big puddle and the toilet flush was cracked and temperamental. I got a blanket out of the cupboard which was horribly musty smelling. The power went off repeatedly, despite the neighboring buildings having power, which meant that I had no air conditioning over night and had to pack for my early morning bus by the light of a head torch!
Good 6.3
Pros: Location was good
Cons: Bathroom was cramped and shower was difficult
Good 7.1
Pros: spacious room, basic breakfast (as usual in south america)
Cons: a bit aged and loud
Good 7.9
Pros: Our room was clean and spacious with a private bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and we were given soap and towels. The room was cleaned, the bed was made and we were given fresh towels every day. The staff were all very friendly and helpful! There is no kitchen but you can keep food in the big fridge in the reception area. The location was good- about a 20 minute walk from the bus terminal and around 10 minutes from the main square with bars and restaurants nearby. Good value for money with breakfast included- ideal for a short stay in Salta.
Cons: The air conditioning was leaking water on to the bed sometimes but we just moved it a bit so it wasn't a big problem. The breakfast was mostly sweet stuff, which is traditional I know, but some fruit or savoury food would have been good too. The wifi was a bit temperamental at times.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The manager and staff members are great. Even they cannot speak English, we can communicate through Google translator. They are extremely helpful to arrange tours and transportation. They put us into a room away from street. The room is relatively quiet. The breakfast includes various sweets, dairy products. They are good.
Cons: The WiFi some time was good and some time was a little weak. It is understandable in a relatively small city.
Good 7.1
Pros: . Wi-Fi worked brilliantly in our room . Staff were helpful, and let us use their phone to make excursion enquiries . Amazing spread at breakfast - if you like very sugary things! We mainly stuck to bread rolls, the only savoury option!
Cons: . Bed sheets had some stains . One of our mattresses was pretty bad, with a large hole in it . You cannot pay by card, despite what the booking.com profile says, which was annoying as it's why we chose this accomodation!
Good 7.5
Pros: Great staff . Very kind and friendly. Good place for a cheap night in Salta.
Good 7.9
Pros: Nice staff. Very nice breakfast. Good wifi and the room is ok.
Good 6.7
Pros: The staff were pleasant and helpful. Plenty of hot water
Cons: The place has seen better days.
