Pros: All the staff to include the owner were great.
Cons: Would have liked more variety for breakfast. Like that the owner is ecological. He was also available when needed.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Cozy apartment with all the facilities. The kitchen was well stocked up with all the utensils including a blender, microwave and coffee maker. Location was great near the Malecon and the old town. Nice breakfast in the morning with a selection of jam, spread and fresh fruit. The owner is very friendly and he provides guests with maps and with good recommendations.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: ALL I CAN SAY AMAZING! My first time in Mazatlan and the host of this hotel is amazing!! He helps you out to get familiar with the place and gives you accurate instructions to get to places! Service is TOP! Literally why this hotel has better rates than big hotel chains! If i ever come back this it the spot I will come back to!! Very recommended for first time visitors is not in the beach but is near the beach..
Cons: Most taxi people didnt know how to get there so jusy tell them to take you to el monumento de la pulmonia!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel is charming and has everything you need Rooms are very nice and clean Nice to have a kitchenette with everything you need The patio is a little oasis Karina the housekeeper is very kind and does a great job Eduardo who cleans the public areas is very professional
Cons: Nothing !! Loved it!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I liked everything. I've just found my favourite place to stay in Mazatlán.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Everything apart from the slow wifi
Cons: The only slight problem was the slow wifi, other than that it was amazing value for money
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Wonderful, attentive owner. Beautiful room and place.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Free breakfast was simple but very good. The patio is awesome and the laundry was very convenient. The owner and staff are first rate. The A/C worked well and the ceiling fan was an added bonus. Place is close to the market and the beach.
Cons: The water saving shower heads worked a little too well, the dog barking next door was a bit annoying, the bed was firmer than I'm used to.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent location!
Cons: Everything was exactly as expected!
Good 6.7
Pros: The location was perfect - across the street from the Pacific and the end of Mazatlan's malecón. We were just a few blocks from Plazuela Machado where we visited the small but interesting Museo Archaeologico, an art gallery, the Ángela Peralta Theater, and dined under the trees at one of the many restaurants rimming the plaza. We enjoyed a beautiful dinner on the terrace at Casa Lucila, and breakfast the next day. The hotel kept our luggage stored for us after our check-out so we could further explore the area before transferring that afternoon to a new location.
Cons: We had the "Alma" suite, located on the first floor of the 8-room inn. While it had high ceilings and was spacious enough, there was only one small window so we felt like we were in a bit of a cave. The air conditioning was sub par, and non-existent in the spacious but hot and humid bathroom. We left the door between the bedroom and bathroom open to try to get what modest cooling there was from one room to the next but to no avail. Because we were staying just the one night and were a bit fatigued from our long flight day, we did not complain or ask for a different room. I'm sure they would have moved us if room was available to a higher floor. I would try this hotel again but ask specifically for an upper room with more windows and airflow.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Location was great
Cons: Front desk was terrible. We attempted to call several times fir different issues phone would ring and ring. When we walked by the front desk he was on a personal call. I opened a tab to get drinks up to pool bar tender said he’d be by every 20 min, never came to check on us.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was professional and exceedingly polite. They made my staying there pleasant.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location is my favorite in Mazatlan, so glad Casa Lucila is now there. The amenities and decor are VERY nice, felt like a home away from home. The staff VERY welcoming and attentive. The views are spectacular. Also the bar and snacks were well done. Breakfast was also great. Nothing bad to say, only wish I could afford to move in.
Cons: The price is high for Mazatlan standards especially in this area, but it's very special so what can you really say .... it was worth it.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything from the hospitality, that homely feel and the location the staff was very friendly speaker in the room was awesome the size of the room is larger than most
Cons: That I cannot think of anything I did not like

Pros: Restaurant is great obviously they have a real chef Golf course is an unexpectedly good tract - we have had the it almost to ourselves the last few times we have been here
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The food was delicious, and the room extra clean
Cons: I think everything was very organized and clean
Good 7.1
Pros: It had a private beach. Hotel restaurant food was exquisite. More flavorful than I had expected. Great security. Had to check in and out with security gate guard.
Cons: It was a pretty far drive from any restaurants or activities from downtown Mazatlan (45 min) They ran out of pool towels. Not enough pool towels for all guests.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful beaches, beautiful property, great food, great service.
Cons: A long way from downtown. However close to the airport.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location was fantastic, close to plaza restaurants and bars and directly on the malecon.
Cons: The room (king bed) was very small with barely enough room to move around the bed. The housekeeping staff cleaned our room at 5 pmish while we were cleaning up for dinner. When asked to come earlier they were no show.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location and price
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The best part of staying here was the location. Close to a great beach, the theatre, good restaurants, the market, El Faro- lighthouse walk, shops, San Francisco Quilting Store, art displays, Plaza Machado, the beautiful malecan. Can rent bikes for a good price right along the malecan. Easy place to access tours from or get a taxi. Was very convenient to have breakfast included in price-good selection. Pool and table/lounge area at top of building-go for a swim, play cards in the evening, can order food and drinks, great view. Very friendly staff. The attendant at the front desk spoke English and was very helpful and friendly with all of our questions. View of the ocean from our room was lovely.
Cons: Lots of street noise in the evening so needed to run air conditioner full blast all night. Ours leaked, so don’t leave things on the floor beside it, but was fixed in short order.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful old hotel in old town mazatlan with oodles of charm.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Great breakfast! Liked they offered free water and coffee in the room. Would be lovely to had a room with balcony.
Cons: I didn't like the distribution of the first room I stayed at, but they offered me a better room.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Big room, clean, quiet, safe.
Cons: I have no complains, maybe add food room service.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Room was clean and close to ocean ( 2 blocks away) and the Plaza where numerous shops and restaurants are located.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Love the location and proximity to everything centro historico.
Cons: If I was to rebook at this hotel I would probably request a room that is upstairs and away from the streets since they seem to stay noisy with traffic and worst, cars with blaring music late at night.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Lots of space and kitchen + living room - would be great for a family. Great location steps from Plaza Machado.
Cons: Noisy outside but that’s the trade off for a great location.
Okay 5.8
Pros: Location for access to things to do was goodl The bed it self was comfortable, but could have used more pillows.
Cons: Poor lighting in the room; Extremely noisy in the evening, until midnight most nights, until 6:00 A.M. one night right outside the bedroom window. Unable to even hear the TV due to noise. Daily room clean up was satisfactory, but could have used a thorough deep cleaning prior to our check in.
Good 7.9
Pros: Our room was a deluxe studio. The room is basically furnished but quite adequate. Has coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, etc. The two aircondtioners were adequate during +90 heat. The location is top notch being between Olas Altas boulevard and the plaza. There is a lovely courtyard with lots of areas to sit outside.
Cons: This is an area of the old city. The building has been upgraded. Some things in the apartment are not working like light fixtures in the bedroom. Had to use cell phone light to see during the night.

Okay 5.0
Pros: - Good location just a couple of blocks from the heart of the city center and main bus lines. - Strong air conditioning and also two fans in the room made it easy to keep cool. - WiFi was surprisingly good - one of the best I've experienced in a hostel.
Cons: - The bathroom was a disaster. The sink was falling out of the wall, the toilet seat was completely broken off of the toilet, and the lock was falling out of the door. In addition, there was no shelf in around the shower, absolutely nowhere to put basic things soap, etc. I told the staff about the broken items and they fixed the sink and left the other problems like the broken toilet seat. - The kitchen area was poorly stocked with a few dirty looking utensils (although plenty of plates) and a dirty wash rag to "clean" things with. - Beds and pillows were bare bones. Flat pillows, no curtains, no shelves or other place to put belongings by the beds. - No liquid soap in shared bathrooms. Sharing a small bar of soap with a bunch of strangers is disgusting. - Overall a very bare bones hostel, which is fine but price is expensive for what it is.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Location! This is the best street of Mazatlán. Rooftop terrace with hammocks. Delicious banana bread in the morning.
Cons: Cold water in the shower, but with temperatures like there it’s better to have cold showers!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Good location, Nice terrace
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: 1. Nice staff, the only good thing I found…….
Cons: Awful experience…… 1. After clean just let my door's lock open. 2. Outside can watch directly my room, I even couldn't cover it. 3. Shower water is just a little hot. 4. There is no quilt at room, I felt so cold……
Good 7.0
Pros: The hostel was located two blocks from the city center. It was quiet, and the staff were helpful, even doing our laundry. Roof deck was nice, and internet worked well.
Cons: I don't like that they required a deposit into a Mexican bank account. That was fairly difficult from the US, and they wouldn't give us a refund for the amount we overpaid.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The common area on roof was amazing! Perfect spot to chill in hammock and have a beer!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: People, breakfast, location.
Good 7.9

Pros: In the middle of it all, if you happen to visit during Carnival. Great use of space, lovely decoration. Rain shower was awesome! Small rooftop pool but beach is just a short walk. Comfy beds.
Cons: Very loud at night, right off main square with Carnival celebrations into early morning. But that means just a short walk home!

Pros: The hotel has a great view and is locating right on the Malecon (old Mazatlan). It was an easy 2 minute walk to the beach and there stores and restaurants very close by.
Cons: The beds were not great, the room kind of smelled like mildew and the shower was horrible. The water barely came out and barely trickled over you.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Right at the beach - perfect location. Reasonable price. Awesome ocean view.
Cons: Could use a reno. Old fixtures. No biggie.
Good 6.3

Cons: I would have appreciated a couple bottles of water in my room.

Pros: A convenient location, close to the beach, with a good bus connection to the city center. Good AC.
Cons: The hotel room was cheap but I think that even for this price it is possible to buy some paint, paint the room so that it looks nice and tidy or buy a regular bed instead of putting a mattress on a concrete block. The TV in the hall was on all night long.
Good 6.3
Pros: Nice staff. Short walk to the malecon.
Cons: Kind of loud. No windows. On the main road. Nothing worthwhile nearby.
Excellent 8.0
