Superb all round A warm friendly welcome, great food, lovely rooM and fab location and great with our dog Thank you
The car parking facility was good. All the day & evening staff we spoke to were friendly and informative. Breakfast was excellent in terms of service, presentation & taste. We will be back in the Summer to use the nearby open air sea water pool, stroll along the Marina & to take the doorstep ferry over to the Isle if Wight.
Location, style and comfort.
Not far from centre of townand it’s a lovely walk. All staff lovely, the manager gave a warm greeting, both bar staff lovely, and cleaner very polite and friendly when we bumped into her now and again. Comfy bed, nice linen, and lovely size en-suite with huge shower which had very good water pressure, fresh milk. Good food in the bar and breakfast was ok. Cooked options excellent but buffet ok. No granola which would have been nice but there were packet cereals. Decently quality sliced bread and lovely little pastries.
The room was very clean but the coffee/tea tray had dirty items on it. Kettle had water and finger marks all over it with some flaky lime scale in the bottom and the little jar with treats in it was filthy, worth putting in the bin. Although bathroom very clean the window frame and metal arm were dirty and dusty. Didn’t bother us really as overall everything else was very clean. The kitchen fan outside window was very noisy, but at night it’s off so it’s not a problem.
The staff were lovely and although we didn't take our dog, they were really dog friendly not just dog tolerant as is often the case.
