Very comfortable and clean. Great service.
Very comfortable, spacious room and bathroom. Good storage, a fridge with milk and water, plenty of tea/coffee/hot chocolate. The bathroom is fitted out well with a very efficient and large shower. The view from the room was extensive over the valley and hills. The breakfasts were good with plenty of choice, and the hosts were very accommodating as we needed an early start, so had an early breakfast. All in all highly recommended.
Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and very nicely presented. A fridge in the room was good and the daily supply of a small bottle of fresh milk really appreciated. The location of the property couldn't be better. It's central and a good base for exploring the area. Or room overlooked the market square - really interesting. We did make a couple of requests and Janet sorted them by the time we got back from our day out.
Just a feeling that the room could have been a little larger or perhaps re-organised. Maybe move the chair and add another bedside unit by the fridge. Also look to have a grab rail in the shower for less able people. A non -slip mat was supplied on request and appreciated.
Very nice B&B Warm welcome nice big room and bathroom very clean Good breakfast Excellent views from the room and breakfast room Right in the heart of the village.
2 night stay with my partner and 1 year old boy. We have absolutely loved our stay at the roses, it was a perfect location for us to get to the Forbidden corner. Janet could not of made us anymore welcome, the room was cosy and very clean. The full english breakfast was absolutely fantastic with cereals, toast fruit to give to the boy. We couldn't thank you enough for making our stay extra special, we will certainly be seeing you again.
