I went alone to see the MJ One show for the night. Show was conveniently located near the lobby area, great food around the corner. Very clean and quiet.
The room was clean and the pools were nice. The hotel has many amenities inside so a guest rarely needs to travel out for anything.
I reserved a king size bed online but was given 2 doubles. Staff told me that no king was available (at 6 pm on a Wednesday with school in session and no big name entertainment performing) The pool closes far too early. The A/C unit took hours to cool the room Staff recommended RM Seafood inside the hotel. The food was mediocre and the price was top shelf. The service was among the worst I've experienced at a similar priced restaurant.
Had prepaid reservations, yet when arrive were told no rooms available and would be pushing us to far away Delano. Took 2 managers to correct situation. If going to the lazy river pool bring your own floating tubes ($2 at corner store), instead of their sold at the pool ($22 each). Michael Jackson ONE show - worst cirque I've watched, looks like a formula (some chinese diabolo thrower, russian acrobats and high wires) whipped together in a week. Go to Mystere or Love.
Staff is really gracious and helpful.
Not much, the scented air pumped around the place started to bother me a bit in common spaces. Not in the room though.
The carpet left a black residue on my feet. Hotel over priced.
The flavored water in the lobby
Helpful staff, nice pools.
No in room coffee makers, limited dining options in the hotel, but several more options a short walk away.
All the smoke
The only thing that bothered me was that my due balance was ridicules and I didn't understand why when I only ordered three thing to my room that didn't go over $150... And my due balance was over $400 still confused
Beautiful hotel, great atmosphere
The room was dirty. The bed was made haphazardly, there was large pieces of paper(?) on the floor and the bathtub had visible dirt. We stayed in a suite and didn't feel like we got our money's worth. The furniture was old and stained and put together awkwardly. The hotel is nice, but I don't think the suite is worth it..
Mandalay Bay has a resort feeling to it. One of the nicer casinos I've been to since the ceilings are very high. Lots of amenities on site so you really wouldnt have to leave the hotel if you didn't want.
I wish there was a shuttle that ran up and down the strip
I hotel was amazing the staff was great, My room was awesome King suite.
NO COFFEE MAKER IN ROOM NOT GOOD
The valet and bell service very good. Check in was good. Restaurants had good food and service.
My room was never serviced and the sheets had lint and hair in them. Room was nice but had only one chair. The smoke and the fragrance bothered my lungs after the first day.
I loved the dining choices & the cowboy show was a surprise bonus @ Christmas! I also enjoyed the overall dining, bar, scene. It draws a fun young clientele.
My room was not clean. The bed was rumpled & garbage left in the can. Not what's expected from a 4 star hotel. They were gracious about extending a food credit or room change but it shouldn't have happened. After a long trip, I just wanted to check in & not have to go back to the lobby. They should also update their bed spreads to a Euro down throw or something more upscale. It's rather flimsy.
Double charged a "resort fee" and tax; it was easily taken care if, but annoyed I had to check out at the desk instead of with my phone or the TV
The resort is clean and the staff is nice. The Sportsbook is big with ample TVs. For every bet you make in the Sportsbook you get a free drink coupon (don't forget to ask for your coupon).
I didn't like the fact that there is a $25 resort fee, but they still charge you $15 for the gym and $4 for the coffee in the room.
I did not like that the resort fees and taxes were not included in the total cost of the hotel stay.
It was clean
Didn't get the room I reserved
It's probably because we booked through kayak is why we got a low floor overlooking the roof of another building
Unable to place people in their rooms. Walk a mile in and a half to find out they gave you the wrong keys. Had a package sent to Hotel that to be there by 10;30, the package was signed for a 9:30am they would give it to me until 1:00pm My customer was PISSED.
the girls and I had lots of fun there.. Eclipse was a blast
felt more like a family extended stay because their were so many kid.. just out in the lobby area.. the wave pool and lazy river was more for the kids if anything as well.. wish that there could have been multiple entry way to get to the beach area. Our party had to walk through the Casino to go down to the beach.
Really- nothing. Except the shark aquarium.
Omg. It was $450 a night and I've been in nicer holiday inns. The room was shitty and small- everything was old and looked it, if not actually damaged. (Ie one tv was broken, the other turned on but got not channels). The interior was cheaply and badly decorated about a 10 years ago. The bath tub and sink were dirty, and there was blond hair in my bed (mines black). Room service was appalling- all 3 times. They took literally hours to bring it, then twice brought cold food, and once brought the wrong food. They said they be back with my order, and when I called 2hrs later and explained- the managers respond was "Ewww. Jeeze." And i had to wait 45 minutes out front in 108• heat for a cab with apx 20 other peopke, because the guys that deal with that were busy. It was just totally unacceptable on every level.
