It was just too expensive. The way it works as you know is - you pay for a full day even if you don’t use it for that full day. So I had to pay for 3 full days when I only used it for 2 and change. So that was annoying.Reviewed 9 Jul 2022

It was closedCons:The website said open 24 hours. I got to airport desk at 2:00 AM and it was closed. There was a sign with a phone number...I called and it said the number was not in service. I found another international phone number online...that also was not in service. There was no one at the airport information desk. I was only in Iceland for the day and that is why I needed to pick up the car as soon as I landed. So the car was useless to me and I never picked it up. I need a refundReviewed 24 Oct 2018

The Toyota Yaris that could!Pros:The check in and check out process was fairly quick and simple. We got a small Toyota Yaris that took us all over Iceland, including the Westfjords and up mountains!Cons:Our Garmin GPS device was very out of date and in a few cases didn't even register the roads we needed on its map. Pros:Very easy straightforward process to pick up the car at the airport. The extra insurances were presented well and no pressuring to take them. We did opt for the windshield protection. Also the shuttle to the airport after drop off was fast.Cons:The drop off was a bit confusing. It was presented on the paperwork we received but might have been better to have a verbal explanation presented when we picked up the car too. They were quite busy when we were dropping off so there was no one in the office and no sign indicating the process so several people were just standing around waiting.Reviewed 18 Aug 2018
