The car was dirty. The chips on the windshield were not documented properly. Had to call later to document the rock chips with Hertz since their renting agent didn't document it on the photos he took. The car was not really SUV. It was a crossover. As well, the windows were not tinted at all. So the vehicle's windows were not easy on the eyes. Additionally, the inside of the vehicle was entirely exposed to the outside, so we could leave our belongings and suitcases in the vehicle unattended!Reviewed 11 Aug 2026

My money robbed by Herts without giving me a car. Just fooled me saying car will be ready at 12, when I went there they said car is not available and probably will come in the evening, asked me to take another car paying double the money. The bottom line is simple, you make people to book for lower price/ show attractive price in websites, when you reach there simply say cars are not available, only high end cars are available, if you want pay more and take.Reviewed 26 Jun 2026

I particularly enjoyed the vehicle and the service at the Hertz counter and with the staff when we dropped off the vehicle. The thing that disappoints and continues to disappoint when I hear about it in the automotive industry. That is the failure to supply a spare tire and further not to supply an emergency repair kit pump and so on for the existing tires. I had travelled to remote areas on this vacation and Alberta and Saskatchewan have many gravel roads. I tried to mitigate my circumstances by buying a pump and a tire repair kit. Thankfully, I did not have to use it. Unfortunately, I believe that if I had a flat in one of my far away places that I visited roadside service would not be efficient. That’s my rant and in the future, I will try to choose a rental that has a spare tire if possible!Reviewed 24 May 2025
