Excellent 8.2
Pros: great location, close to the grand canyon
Cons: parking lot was completely full, at 8pm on a Wednesday!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent value. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Good amenities.
Cons: None
Good 6.5
Pros: Location and rooms
Cons: We asked for some tea bags and the front desk flatly refused by saying they were very busy to send anybody to the room! Never heard this before in my life.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Immediately when walking in the door, staff was so friendly and gave us a free upgrade. The rooms were gorgeous, specious, and clean. We couldn't have asked for better when looking for a place to stay last minute for a really great price. Would definitely recommend!
Cons: The only downside to this stay was the hot tub. There were so many bubbles that were brown with visible dirt and hair on top of the bubbles. Not a deal breaker, but made me question the cleanliness of the hot tub.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very spacious and clean. Nice staff and facilities.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Convenient to the canyon
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Spacious brand new room, attentive front desk staff, excellent location for exploring Grand Canyon. Housekeeping managed to accidentally skip the room twice, but were happy to let us pick up items as needed, such as coffee etc.
Okay 4.0
Cons: The cover sheet had blood on it and when I took it off the next blanket had a yellow pee spot. I called the front desk to request a new blanket and was given a thin fleece blanket with 2 hair balls. Will never stay here again.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel was very nicely appointed, the room (upgraded to deluxe double queen room) was large, and the beds were super-comfortable. We stayed in the 7000 building. There were in-room Keurig coffee makers. The staff was extremely accommodating when we asked for extra K-cups. We had breakfast at the dining room near the front desk. The coffee there was superb. We only stayed one night, but I would stay there again, in spite of the thin walls, if I got another deal like the one I found on Kayak.com.
Cons: The walls are very thin. You can hear people going up and down the hallway, as well as the people in the upper room. The bathroom had a vent that led directly from the bathroom upstairs, so you could hear people talking. The bathroom door had a frosted glass insert that lit up the entire room if you turned the light on in there during the night.
Good 6.2
Pros: Very close to the Grand Canyon park entrance.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Location
Cons: Cost, small room
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Hotel was clean and quiet. They have a very large complex with a decent amount of parking. There are plenty of places to eat and they have a nice gift store. Would definitely choose this hotel again.
Cons: Breakfast buffet was a little over priced. Parking was sometimes far from room
Okay 4.0
Pros: $review.pros
Cons: I asked for tissues as they left us an empty box and was told would get a box in 10 minutes. I never received them. Also, I asked for a channel guide, never received it. You say tthey have movies on demand...LIES
Good 6.3
Pros: The staff at the hotel were excellent and the front desk staff were so polite and friendley
Cons: Nothing at all
Good 7.0
Pros: Good location, easy access
Cons: On site dining was poor.....food was never served hot
Good 7.7
Pros: Facilities & service were excellent. Restaurant was a little pricey.

Good 7.0
Pros: Very good location close to Grand Canyon Visitor Center. Nice and clean rooms.
Good 6.0
Pros: Perfect location, friendly staff, parking, nice concierge
Cons: Much noise because of helicopters flying around early in the morning, very crowdy in the breakfast area

Good 7.1
Pros: This is a good location just outside Grand Canyon Park. A very large hotel with updated rooms. Breakfast area was under renovation, but the food was okay. The shower was very nice and the shampoo dispenser was cool. I liked that the pillow cases showed you the firmness.
Cons: The heater was a little noisey, but worked okay.
Okay 5.7
Pros: Close to Grand Canyon Good breakfast
Cons: Overpriced for what it is
Good 7.1
Pros: The location/proximity to the Grand Canyon is perfect. And there is plenty within walking distance. The breakfast (and breakfast staff) was also excellent.
Cons: The air conditioner in our room did not work at all so we were very warm and uncomfortable - and our view was of a wall.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: The staff at morning breakfast was AMAZING! so hospitable and friendly. It was a great way to start the morning. The hotel also gave us great maps that we used, especially the grand canyon map.
Cons: I felt like some of the night staff were annoyed to help. And we couldn't find eat swabs anywhere in the hotel.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Near the grand canyon
Good 7.7
Pros: Friendly staff. Great location.
Cons: No gluten free or dairy free options for breakfast. Also, our car was backed into while parked there overnight. There are no cameras outside.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Breakfast was good and staff was friendly and helpful
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Loved the breakfast! So many options. The room was clean and beautiful. Great location. Not far from the Grand Canyon park. Worth every penny.
Cons: Can't complain!
Good 6.5
Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: Older, with upgrades that look like upgrades.
Good 7.4
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: Not helpful desk staff
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Was part of a group that went to hike the Grand Canyon. This hotel is conveniently located and near the canyon. Staff was friendly. Good breakfast and friendly pancake makers. It may seem a bit pricey, but not more than others when compared to the other hotels in town.
Okay 5.4
Cons: Internet service was terrible. Couldn't even connect to the Wi-Fi until 6 a'm. Hôtel had a letter explaining there is terrible internet service, but that didn't stop them from claiming to provide it before I booked the room.

Okay 5.7
Pros: Inside the park.
Cons: other people entered our room in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. This was quite disconcerting and unacceptable. Apparently DNC had double booked the room. They have tried to make up for it, but it should have never happened.
Good 7.4
Pros: The stairs were covered with snow very hard to maneuvers. The coffee pot was broken
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Location was great. Good proximity to the visitor center and the the south rim drive.
Cons: The rooms have aesthetically been updated, but corners were cut. Poor taping job. Missed paint in our room after a towel bar was moved to a new location
Okay 4.8
Pros: Proximity
Cons: Poor value. Basic rooms, no internet, limited to no cell service. If had known would not have booked. Stay in Tusayn for better value and amenities.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: From check in to dinner and drinks, the staff was personable, friendly and engaging. Prime location!
Cons: Don't expect hot food in the cafe ten minutes before closing... Our fault completely, and the cauliflower was delicious.
Good 7.7
Pros: Location was excellent. Was great to be right in the national park.
Cons: Beds were not very comfortable. We were in the rooms that had not yet been renovated.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great Nature. Great Park. Excellent hikes. Scenic views. Cozy rooms. Wonderful place to spend a weekend getaway from the city and office to natural wonders of the World.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Beautiful room. Great location. Clean.
Cons: No wifi in room. Sterile, corporate lobby. Cafeteria style restaurant. No continental breakfast.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location is amazing. The room was lovely, spacious, quiet and in a great location close to the rim. A fabulous family destination - the weather was kind and the location beyond words.
Excellent 8.2
Cons: The booking agency, bookit.com
Okay 5.4
Pros: Great location.
Cons: Room wasn't ready until several hours AFTER listed check-in time because management had not staffed the cleaning crew properly. Management offered NOTHING to compensate. Food is awful and expensive ($15 for buffet that only featured powdered eggs) We wouldn't stay here again until new ownership/management.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: For a hotel "in the park," it was reasonably priced and very convenient. I was also pleasantly surprised at how nice it was inside the room. It was not just "state park" basic, but definitely a step up. Breakfast was included in our rate, and it was easy.
Cons: If I had known how nice it would have been to be on the rim, I would have kept trying for a room in one of the hotels there and been willing to pay more for it too.

Cons: Wifi speed was awful They can add microwave Cleaning could be better
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This hotel is immaculately clean. The rooms have the little touches that matter, Eg. Magnifying mirror for shaving/make up/contact lens application, etc., and hooks etc in bathroom, I.e. places to put things. Very friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: Hotel is marvellous. Wish it had a restaurant The nearby Mexican restaurant was recommended and we ate there first night. Food oK then one of us found a black coarse hair in his food. He is bald and the rest of us are white-haired. He wasn’t charged. I stopped at the restaurant washroom (ladies) on the way out and it was a disgrace. Paper all over the floor etc. Next night we ate at the Saloon in town. Very good! Clean washrooms too.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Clean and spacious rooms. Parking gets a little crowded, and dragging our luggage up and down the building till you find your room was an adventure. Very central to restaurants and park!!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location - proximity to the grand canyon Free wifi Parking Friendly staff
Cons: No breakfast Price
Excellent 9.4
Pros: No surprises. Clean, comfortable room, convenient to.Grand Canyon National Park and walking distance to restaurants. Excellent 9.4
Pros: I came into the area with a camping permit, but was too late and there was a thunderstorm. Thankfully this hotel had a room. The staff were all super friendly and more than willing to help me if I needed anything. Room was comfortable and it was fairly quiet, maybe because it was the end of August. I am sure that during the busier times the bar and lounce area are great places.
Cons: The buffet of food was just so so. Nothing was especially good. Probably would order off the menu directly next time.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Shuttle service
Cons: Mattress need to be changed
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Restaurant on site was convenient.
Cons: Difficult to find in the dark when first arrived
Good 6.0
Cons: I get that it's a tourist area but $200+ for a standard room is insane, I could have found cheaper rooms in downtown Las Vegas.
Good 7.7
Pros: The room was fine. This a not a high end hotel but met our requirements for the night - clean, comfortable bed.. Not far from the Park. Friendly, courteous staff at the hotel.
Cons: It was behind another building so a little hard to find.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great stay. The staff was helpful and polite. The room was in good shape. The breakfast buffet was tasty with good variety. We will definitely return.
Cons: Very smoky during a prescribed burn in the forest. This was certainly not the fault of the staff, but there surely must be a mechanism to warn of such events. Aside from direct exposure to a campfire, none of the four of us had previously been exposed to that much smoke inhalation. We are all in good health, but we all suffered from the smoke exposure; eg, watery eyes, sneezing, throat irritation. It was still a positive experience.
Good 7.1
Pros: Facilities were nice rooms comfortable.
Cons: Back yard view very untidy, bright outside lights switched on all night and towels were switched every day even when not necessary. There should be more of an emphasis on saving resources in this location.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Everything was good, including the restaurant on site.
Cons: Expensive for what it is.
Mediocre 3.1
Cons: The room is not clean found a dirty socks on the floor . The bed is uncomfortable , the pillows is old too flat. The pillow cases all worn out with stains and holes. The bathroom door knob lock is outside not inside the bathroom. There are stiill open salad dressing in the fridged meaning it was not cleaned . I’ve never beeb in a hotel like that.
Mediocre 3.4
Pros: Location.
Cons: Run down facility. Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Even TV was not working properly. Restaurant mediocre. Parking scarce at night. No concierge was available. Expensive for what it is.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: just a few minutes from the Grand Canyon with plenty of adequate restaurants, convenience shops within walking distance. Staff very helpful and friendly. Indoor "spa" aka hot tub, was fun b/c it was in the middle of the lobby with greenery all around. Breakfast buffet was good for the price ($12?). Beds comfortable, linen soft, rooms clean. We booked for Easter weekend only 2 weeks before and grateful to get a place to stay.
Good 6.0
Pros: The location was perfect for an EARLY departure to hike the Canyon.
Cons: The refrigerator ran, but didn't work. We were too pressed for time to sweat it. The TV didn't have a signal, which we were told has to routinely have to be reset.
Good 6.3
Pros: Rooms were clean and the staff was very personable.Breakfast was o.k for the continental free portion..we were looking for a quiet place and this was good for us.
Cons: Although the breakfast was good it was very minimal and basic a few hot items could have been added to make it more complete.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The Grand Canyon. Everything about this hotel was bad, staff rudeness, customer service, restaurant food quality, bed quality, parking arrangements, honesty in room charges. Stay anywhere else other than this hotel.
Cons: The front desk staff was rude and arrogant along with the hotel manager. When I checked in the front dest staff told me that I paid sudstantially more for the room than a walk in customer would pay. When asked to correct this he simply said that was not possible because it was booked on-line in advance. Management also refused to corect this. They would not tell me what the actual rate was just that it was substantially less than what I was paying. After spending 45 minutes on the phone with bookings.com and the hotel management we did get confirmation of lower rates but the hotel tried to charge the higher rate at check-out. another 30 minutes to correct. The bed was also the very worst bed that I ever experienced in a hotel of any kind.
Good 6.0
Pros: Is in a great location, about as close to the entrance to the south rim of the Grand Canyon as you can get. Amenities close by including restaurants etc.
Cons: The free breakfast was pretty poor - not a lot of variety and not enough tables for everyone. Tea and Coffee facilities in the rooms weren't great - coffee pot was quite dusty which put us off a bit.
Good 7.0
Pros: Location
Cons: Hot tub broken
Good 6.3
Pros: It was very convenient to the Grand Canyon, had parking near elevator to room, nice restaurant and reasonably priced.
Cons: No dislikes.
Good 7.0
Pros: rooms were very clean! staff friendly and helpful. hotel located close to the entrance of the grand canyon.
Cons: the restaraunts however, close way too early - 9:30pm. so if you go to the grand canyon and come back in the evening, you do not have a great opportunity to eat. if you are looking for activity at this hotel, whether it be for family, bar, etc, you will not find it there. but i would stay there again because of the location. the price was a bit much, tho. overpriced.
Mediocre 3.5
Pros: $review.pros
Cons: Too expensiv for what you get for your moneyPoor service
Mediocre 3.6
Pros: Location very near to Canyon.
Cons: Noisy air condition, poor breakfast
Okay 5.6
Pros: $review.pros
Cons: yes i was billed for my stay twice once when i made the booking and then i found out they billed me again when i stayed not happy about that, in the process of trying to get a credit for my 1 night stay.

Pros: Loved the location! It was great being in the park and it was a cute little cabin. Great water pressure in shower and nice and hot!
Cons: Soundproofing. We could hear our neighbors very clearly. And they were very loud until late at night. Also, they took the coffee maker out of the room because of COVID-19, ridiculous!!! And didn’t have coffee for sale in the lobby until 8 AM.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: location, cleanness, cute style.
Cons: no tv, no wi-fi.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location was great. And the staff was very kind and helpful to make the most of my short stay there.
Cons: There was no fitted bed sheet which was a little off putting. Also the doors weren't sound proof so was quite loud being next to an exterior door hearing people pass in and out.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Close to the rim, with some cabins right on the rim. Great price for location.
Cons: Cabin furnishings and bedding are pretty dated - but seemed clean enough. The location is what makes this place.

Cons: Wifi in the room. While we travel for leisure we sometimes bring work laptops with us and from time to time check if anything urgent at work pops up.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Pizza / Pub and breakfast facilities nearby were an added bonus, and prices were reasonable. The 'North' units had good heating and ventilation and decent WiFi for one device at a time. Room was a little dark and dated, but beds were comfortable. Helpful staff, who relocated us due to noisy neighbours. Why pay more elsewhere for a canyon view when you'll commute between the various overlooks inside the park anyway.
Cons: Wasn't overlooking the rim like so other places, but easy walk, and avoided having hundreds of other tourists blocking parking and walking around the site.
Good 6.8
Pros: Great location.
Cons: No wifi, poor facilities and restaurant understaffed.
Good 7.7
Pros: Location - real close to the south rim. Offerings - Close to the cafeteria which serves a variety of food which keeps you from having to leave the park area. Informational - Close to local information and insight from park employees. Gift Shop - the gift shop is full of offerings at a reasonable price.
Cons: Room - the room was really dated and no visible sign of AC and no visible sign of heat controls. Comfort - the mattress was hard, has not been updated in a while.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Closeness to the Grand Canyon
Cons: Hard to find in park as they were redoing a lot of the roads. Needed more signs.
Good 7.4
Pros: It's hard to beat the location as it is super close to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. There are also a lot of food options at the lodge but it is all basic and nothing fancy.
Cons: The beds are not comfortable at all and the rooms are very small. It is a little over priced for what you get but you are mainly paying for location.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I love how they were so clean and eco friendly.breathtaking view and lots of animal life too. Everyone takes very good care of this great park
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Proximity to the south rim
Good 6.8
Pros: We loved the proximity of the lodge to the Grand Canyon. It was a very quick walk to and from as well as a beautiful one at night. The staff was also very kind and helpful.
Cons: The actual comfort of the beds was poor. They’re older, very firm, and the pillows were difficult to sleep comfortably on as well. Not a great nights sleep but it was only for one night. More than one night sleeping there would be tough for me personally.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Close to Grand Canyon
Cons: Outdated everything! For the price it was a very poor room. Carpet was dirty and worn. Room needed a total makeover. None of the above descriptors fit this room. I picked family as it would be the best fit.
Good 7.7
Pros: It's a bit dated and plain but given its location and purpose it's a great value. The Grand Canyon is within walking distance in the food court was excellent. It was quiet and comfortable.

Cons: Room was tiny (standard queen room). Barely enough room for luggage. Bathroom redone and nice but no shelf or anywhere for toiletries. Internet was so very slow could barely open a website on browser. Restaurant Is so overpriced for what one gets. My porkshops were $25 and were so dry and over cooked I could not eat them. I understand supply and demand.. but for $263 dollars a night they could have provided a much better stay.occupancy must be close to 100% year round so they should be flush with cash.
