Quick access from our room through a side door to a big field for our animals to play in and get exercise. Great staff, friendly and knowledgeable and super accommodating for the most part. But Great knowledgable staff and a very clean older hotel with extremely budget friendly room options and some with kitchenettes, sitting area, tables, pull out couch and coffee table. Huge apartment style rooms! Jacuzzi rooms also available at request. Huge Laptop work space as well and Was surprisingly perfect for us!
The alternate access side doors of the hotel did not have room key card entry. If the door shut accidentally while we were let our animals out, we had to go around through the main lobby doors to get back in. Not a major concern but just a pain in the butt!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked as it should. I travelled with my dog and everyone was very kind and welcoming with him.
The couch in the room was not very comfortable, but served it's purpose. Though they were a great staff and the hotel was pet friendly, their policy does not allow you to leave the pet alone in the room, or take him/ her into the area where they have the continental breakfast, so getting breakfast was a challenge. I ended up staying 4 nights. The front desk lady helped the first morning by watching my dog for me, so I could grab some food to take to the room. The other mornings I tied my dog to the coffee table in the front desk area, near the breakfast room, and the front desk person allowed me to do that. Though if there were a lot of dogs I am not sure how that would have worked. It was very cold out, so I did not really want to have to take him out to the car to wait, so I could get breakfast. I understand this is a small issue that probably every pet friendly hotel has, but perhaps they could make allowances, or have an area where people can tie up their dogs, perhaps in the long hallway close to the breakfast area, so people could get some of the breakfast that is included in the room and not feel they may have to break the rules to get something to eat.
Restaurant was attached to the hotel and the meal we had was great The staff were very welcoming and helpful
The bath room was very small and the living room was dark
Incredible value for the money. Lots of ace in the riin. Fantastic staff and the complimentary breakfast was better than many I've had at si-called higher end hotels!
It was extremely hot in the hotel, even in the halls. We couldn't get the heat to go down enough to sleep comfortably.
Good service. Friendly staff. Great experience. Highly recommended.
