We were told in the evening we would not have to pay for outdoor parking by one clerk. The morning clerk said "yes you do have to pay." We were given to understand, in the evening, that we have to pay for garage parking.
Car parking and situated in the city
The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was lovely, the room was exceptionally clean and the hotel was very central.
The position, close to the old part, to the Opera house and about 600mt.fromthe bus-train station. Also the habit of offering a complimentary late afternoon coffee & cake in a quiet room near the reception. The buffet breakfast is small, but fairly enough. The rest of the staff is friendly and attentive. The bathrooms are small, but ok and cleaned. There's a small minibar too in room.
I booked this hotel (3 single rooms) as invited by my friend, the Opera house conductor, to an important festival in Flensburg. From the pics you can't imagine that the building is literally "squeezed"among awful garages and wharehouses, which fortunately close at night. Nevertheless after a long busy trip and having required in advance for a quiet room, I've been concerned about all that. The response by the aged receptionist was quite unfriendly, proposing a double room at my own costs. The youngest lady was more helpful and diplomatic, explaining they were fully booked, but there wouldn't be any trouble about the noise at night. Attention! there's no air con, so expect very hot rooms in the changed climate summer days...
They sent an email that accepts our early checkin but when we went to hotel they said it is not possible. It was disappointing. But stuff was very helpful. They kept our luggage.
This hotel in Flensburg offers modern rooms, free Wi-Fi in public areas, and a daily breakfast buffet at no extra cost. The fjord and main shopping area are a 5-minute walk away. The privately run Hotel Flensburger Hof is located in a courtyard, away from the road. It provides elegant, spacious rooms with a sitting area, desk, and flat-screen TV. There are also family rooms. Different massages are available at the Flensburger Hof on request. Traditional Flensburger Pilsner beer and a variety of wines are served in the Flensburger Hof's lounge. Guests receive a welcome coffee and cake here on arrival.
