Pros:The car was nice enough.Cons:The drop off location on our contract was closed when we arrived before the agreed time so we could not leave the car. The 4 phone lines we could find were either unattended at the time we called, or blocked to international callers (we have a US number). Other location in Dieppe was also closed.Reviewed 25 Mar 2019

The overall experience was simply superb.Pros:The overall experience was great. From the pick up to the drop off inclusive of the car itself. The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful.Cons:Since I am not an EU resident, I was not aware that I should be carrying my UAE driving license along with my International driving license which I did prior to departure. The staff at Europcar needed to see my UAE driver's license and I was lucky to have an e-copy on my phone..Please ensure you mention this on your site to avoid issues with clients.. Pros:Picking up the car in Germany was a very easy, straightforward experience.Cons:Trying to find the after-hours drop-off point was extremely--and unnecessarily--difficult. There was no "Europcar" sign visible anywhere on the outside of the station so I circled several times before pulling into an unmarked driveway. Amazingly, it turned out to be the right driveway because at the bottom of the ramp I noticed a small "Europcar" sign. I then drove through the garage following the "rental return" signs, but there was no central rental return area or instructions for dropping a car after hours. I drove through the parking lot for about 15 minutes looking for a drop off area then got to a gated exit where I could go no further. As a result, I parked the vehicle in a nearby vacant Europcar stall. I then went looking for the office on foot, finding it after a full half-hour of walking the entire station. The office was (obviously) closed so I telephoned the help numbers on my agreement. The person I was ultimately able to speak with told me to simply leave the keys in the mail slot. But there was no mail slot. So I took the key to my hotel and returned the next morning to check-in the car. It was a frustrating, tedious experience and the worse possible way to begin a visit to Paris.Reviewed 27 Sep 2016
