Pros:

The staff was fine. The car was not.

Cons:

The car I was originally given had expired registration tags on it. In California you can be pulled over and ticketed or even told that the car cannot be driven at all, depending on the officer. So I exchanged the car which took hours waiting at the the Sacramento airport Hertz counter because the original place where I got the car was closed. Very unsatisfactory!

I will never pre-pay again! Got a flat and was on hold with Hertz for over an hour and a half. Then the rep put me on hold again to arrange with a local Firestone dealer to replace the tire. The designated dealer refused to help when I called (explanation follows). Called the second one and they said it would take hours to get approval through Hertz, that they needed a PO number. So I called Hertz again only to be told I'd be on hold another 40 minutes. Hung up and called Firestone dealer number 2 back and tell them I'm just going to come in so the replacement can be underway while they're trying to get authorization through the Hertz system (I had the paperwork the Hertz rep emailed me but apparently the tire shop needs this PO). When I got to the shop they explained they wouldn't provide a new tire following Hertz' protocols because they've been burned so much in the past chasing money/trying to get paid (the reason the first shop refused to help me). So I took the car to the airport Hertz dealer but couldn't trade the car in there or to any of the Hertz locations anywhere near Boise, (and possibly the entire state) because they are all private rather than corporate, ie, own their own fleets. If I hadn't pre-paid they could have. So I drove back to Firestone, paid for the new tire out of pocket, and bc I followed the Hertz rep's directions in going to Firestone rather than a more affordable tire shop, paid top dollar. Dealing with this fiasco also robbed me of an entire day of my vacation. Once I turned the car in, the dealer would not reimburse me, told me I'd have to take it up with Hertz corporate. I'm not even going to try. In addition, there was no wiper fluid, and my windshield became a filthy hazard as I drove through snowy/sanded road conditions, so I had to buy a gallon of fluid to fill it up myself. Granted, that's the dealer's oversight, not a result of pre-paying. I needed a car for a month, so thought this would be a good deal, otherwise I'd never rent from Hertz as they are always the most expensive. But between the tire and the fact that my trip ended a week early due to unforeseen circumstances, it certainly was not a bargain. Lesson learned, never again. The one very good thing to come of this is that the tire didn't blow out at 80 mph (legal speed limit) between Nevada and Idaho or I wouldn't be alive to write this review. It went flat after I'd safely parked in front of my friend's house.

The staff was terrible and did not give me the car because I did not have the exact same credit card with me. They would not give me the car even though I prepaid

Cons:

They could’ve let me use a different card for the $200 deposit. Nobody told me I had to bring the same credit card. I never got the car I was carless all week

Pros:

It was a bit busy, but staff worked fast to try and get everyone out. So customer service was okay. I liked that they were working to serve everyone.

Cons:

Cars need to be cleaned between customers. If I did not need the car for only a few hours and I didn't already spend 45 minutes checking the car out, I would not have accepted that car. "Enhanced cleaning" had a lot of dead bugs all over the front of the car and dirt and rocks in the truck bed. Like lots of dirt and rocks. Enterprise does not care for repeat customers.

The cleanliness of the car was disgusting!!! I had to be given another car which was much better than the first car. The return of the car was ridiculous as there were no place to return it other than on the streets. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The only thing that was right was the assistant manager Ryan K. he was kind and really did a good job in making me the customer satisfied. His customer service and his alone was excellent!! He needs a bonus, you should hire more people like him who are willing to keep customers happy.

Cons:

We could have been better informed about the hours. Everything we received said that the location was open until 5 PM. When we got there at 4:30 we learned through a sign on the door that they closed at 4. Lost our money on buying the insurance and had to spend twice as much to get another car that we could pick up at the airport.

Pros:

Staff was friendly and helpful and the Drop-off was super easy!

Cons:

Nothing could've been better. I got a 2019 Nissan Sentra for $30 a day. The car was super clean, only had to fill it once (right before drop off), and the rental process was quick. Thank you Enterprise and thank you Kayak!

They didn't have the car I reserved - gave me a pick-up truck which was fun. But I questioned if it would be more expensive re gas. She said it would be comparable. It was not- it was very expensive for gas. I plan to complain to Budget directly.

I could not book online with the AARP discount so finally called. It cost me $10 extra. They didn't have a car at the appointment time so the counter guy called me 45 minutes later and said he had a car. Turns out he gave me an ugrade so I wouldn't have to wait any longer. He was great.

Car was nice and clean, staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Cons:

I wasn't able to park my car at the rental location because their lot was too small. I had to end up having my bf help drive my car back to his house while I drove the rental there to go pick him up for our drive together in the rental car. A bit inconvenient, but I understand the situation. Wish it would have been made clear before I showed up so I wouldn't have been so inconvenienced. I also ended up getting a Lyft ride for my ride back home after I dropped off the rental car. More money out of my pocket :-(

Price drastically changed because if location change. We could not speak to a manager to understand why this price change occurred. We felt taken advantage of and strong armed into the price. Cleanly a bate and switch tactic.
