Returning the car was great - the rep was very helpful. And the car worked well. However, when picking up the car, we were hit with an unexpected 10 euro per day charge since I was providing my own insurance. At no point was this charged identified or explained during my booking on Kayak. This doubled the price of the rental. The rep when we picked up the car said the charge was mandatory.
