Breakfast Smell of cigarette smoke in the rooms

beds were comfortable. Staff friendly. breakfast poor. bathroom dirty - mould around the bath. Hotel too far out from city centre

Close to amenities i.e. supermarket We had to have a smoking room as original room booked had problem with lights in bathroom, told smoking room was only room available. No apology or compensation offered. Room offered was also much smaller than the room we booked and paid for. No slip mat in bath/shower room and no kettle available to make hot drinks in room. To be honest my partner and I were quite dissapointed as we expected more from a 4star hotel.

Poor hygene of the bathtub (found black molds around the borderline of the bathtub); bathroom door very rumorous, extremly limited space around the bed (could not access the bad from the window part of the wall), the frig in the room not functioning and had broken parts.

Good service buffet, a bar in the foyer opened till very late evening hours. Having a kettle facility in the room would be nice, more english chanels too. We cant really say anything negative about the hotel, just as per our experience, this one is rather "good" 3* class (swimming pool makes it up 4?)! We very enjoyed our w/e in Koln ;o)
