Pros: The staff at both Shreveport and at the Dallas Fort Worth facilities where very prompt and efficient.
I was told to book ahead online to save time and money. I will use them again on my return trip in November.

Reserved Fullsize, was given economy size
Cons: Was told that no cars were available. They said Mondays are their busiest days and they could not give me a car that I reserved 2 weeks in advance. But they could share cars with National and lend them cars.

Pros: Quick, clean, friendly and great experience! I would highly recommend them and would definitely reserve with them again. :)
Cons: I was charged almost twice the quoted price. When I've tried to call to dispute this overcharge, the hours are terrible and I can't call after work. Very upset.

Pros: It was very easy to pick the car up and drop it off it the airport.
Cons: The price on my receipt from thenni picked the car up to dropping it off almost doubled. We were asked about adding an extra driver, and as I thought this was included in our first "final" price, i did. It was not explained to me that the charge was added after I had already signed. Total scam, I will never use Thrifty again.

Pros: The van was very clean and the check in process was easy.
Cons: Local phone wasn't answered by an agent when we were trying to locate the rental office.

Pros: The price was ok and the ease of online renting it through Kayak.
Cons: Everything! The car smelled aweful! I literally had to ride with the window down it was that bad. Then when I brought it back there was no one at the counter at the airport to return the car. After waiting for almost 20 mins - I finally asked the person at the Enterprise counter if anyone was working at the Thifty counter so I can return the car. I was told that Hertz now owns Thrifty so I can bring it to them. I was rather annoyed .. why didn't they (Thrifty) have a sign saying as much? So unprofessional.
The problem is more with Kayak not clearly stating
Pros: Very helpful and sympathetic AVIS staff. Reservation was cancelled at the desk with minimal issues.
Cons: I can't remember renting a car and being charged a mileage fee above and beyond the base price, taxes and other fees that are usually included in the quoted total. Even then, when I was presented with the "estimated cost" that substantially exceeded the price quoted on Kayak, Avis was only "estimating" 80 miles @ $0.30/mile when the rental agreement clearly stated that the car would be returned at a location >300 miles away! Very deceptive on both Kayak and Avis' parts! Thankfully, I had the option of driving my own vehicle and the reservation was cancelled.
