Pros: The staff were awesome! Steve in particular went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. The location was great, the pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing, and the pizza was tasty along with the beer and wine they offered guests.
Cons: This is all nitpicking, but y'all asked! The parking was limited and they didn't have an outlet to charge our EV. The complimentary toiletries and water were all in plastic. It's 2019. Single use plastic should be eliminated. Yes, we're green/sustainability geeks. ;)

Pros: No coffee in the kitchen this morning at 7:30. Seemed to me like someone didn't show up. There was no staff around.would be nice if they had some additional breakfast offerings like yogurt or some pastries.
Cons: The coffee was just average.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay in the lovely Palm Springs! Best welcome ever from one of our hosts, Dawn - very nice red wine and a hug! The first full day was Super Bowl and there was a party for us all, with food and drinks - later on, a couple who were just walking by heard the sound of fun, and were invited in to join us - they wished they'd stayed there too. Lovely relaxed place, where we met some great new friends from other parts of the USA. Very well looked after, by Dawn, Maria and Betty, who were all fabulous!! We would love to return one day. Handy for driving out to other places - Joshua Tree NP is a must (we came to PS via the park). Whilst at the HC, we visited LA for a day; Salton Sea/Bombay Beach/Slab City/Salvation Mountain/East Jesus - a great day out, go!; and Desert Mills retail outlet (ok). Locally, Moorten Botanical Garden is a short walk round the corner; the Tramway cable car up Mount San Jocinto, a short drive, is very good (cold at the top!, but plenty of trails if you feel energetic); the free shuttle bus to the extensive Thursday night street market goes from just up the road; Evrin and the Tika Bar are both good places to eat and drink right opposite across the road; and go and visit Elvis & Priscilla's honeymoon house, and see their other residence there - and the Sinatras' residence, Two Palms (then check out the weird themed house/sculpture park at the end of their road on the corner, you can't miss it). Oh, and don't forget to feed the tame hummingbirds - ask if Misty will show them to you at their sister hotel a couple of blocks down the road - just amazing!! Pool and hot tub are in a relaxed setting, maybe a touch too shaded at times, and there is a great table with a flame heater running down the middle to sit round late on. There is a help yourself kitchen, with great coffee and fruit, and the occasional sweet treat. Free parking right outside. Thanks to all who made it so great!!
Cons: I would have liked some glasses in the room - all are plastic due to the pool, but it would have been nice to enjoy wine in our room and on our balcony & terrace, in a proper glass. The suite we stayed in was a little dated, but is being refurbed soon and will be even better - we loved it anyway!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was amazing. Room and hotel were gorgeous
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great, staff were all super friendly and helpful.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was as pictured: welcoming, the bed was very comfy, and it was well equipped. Moreover, the staff was very friendly and helpful! We loved our stay and even had a swim in the heated pool in January!!
Cons: The jaccuzzi could have been cleaned up a bit, but it was mainly leaves that just fell into it.

Pros: Small, quiet, accommodating, safe, bicycle friendly.
Cons: Parking may be a bit of a challenge if you arrive with more than one vehicle.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed, great location, quiet, catered to my pet.
Cons: Will eventually need some updating, especially the floor in the room but it in no way affected my stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is one of the best places we have ever stayed in and it's easy to see why there is so much repeat custom. Jim was so helpful and friendly, with lots of good advice about Palm Springs. We had plans to do things but the venue was so lovely we ended up barely leaving it. The rooms are large with kitchens and a huge comfy bed. There is a private courtyard at the back of each room and it was lovely to relax and watch the hummingbirds. There is a lovely pool in the centre and a separate spa area. The whole place is very relaxing and there are some great extras such a Happy Hour which allows you to socialise with the other guests. Dogs being allowed was a real bonus for is. Parking is free and it is only a short walk to the main street which is full of shops and restaurants. A truly special place that deserves all the great reviews that it has.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My mom and I absolutely loved this chic hotel! I can't wait to come back with my daughter. It's all about the details...very thoughtful and just makes you feel so special. We loved the intimate pool area, happy hour when Jim, the owner, came around with a drink menu, to feeling safe with the doorbell to get in if you don't have a key. The colors of the room, to the tuft and needle mattress, it was sooo comfortable. We even got a free upgrade to the king suite. Each room has a kitchenette and an outdoor patio area that is private. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Breakfast was prepared in the main area, outside by the pool. Again, detailed! From soy milk, to almond butter, to marionberry jam...top notch! Thank you Jim for making our stay so special! He even accommodated an earlier check in due to coming in from out of town, but was arranged weeks in advance.
Cons: I can't say there was anything I didn't like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place with a fantastic host.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jim is a great proprietor and he makes you feel so comfortable. This is a dog friendly hotel and my furry friend enjoys the love he gets upon arrival. The rooms are spacious and clean. The location is great and most importantly, I have to circle back around to Jim's hospitality.
Cons: I don't have one complaint about this hotel.

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The people here are great! Fun, super helpful owners. Kathy is sooo cool. The little kitchen in our room was perfect. Made breakfast and lunch and saved tons of money (they do offer a killer breakfast included in the price, but we usually had to get out early for desert hiking before it got too hot). The hot tub/cold plunge/sauna combo was a great way to start and end a day in the desert. The Monkey Tree is super close to town, 5 min drive max to the shops and cafes. Btw, our room was super cute.
Cons: Nada. Killer spot.

Pros: So cozy and inviting. Lovely property and great staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well appointed, comfortable rooms. Wonderful service from friendly owners. Cold beer and popcorn on arrival, wine happy hour around a fire pit. Heated pool and hot tub in lovely patio. Nourishing breakfast. Very fast wifi. What more could one ask for?
9.6 Excellent
Cons: My only ask would be a desk in the room—it would be nice to have a real space to eat, write or type. Of course, this may matter less if you are not a work traveler, as most guests are.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners obviously take pride in what they do and it shows. Very quaint place with great amenities! From the personal service of espressos in the am to the lavender sachet on the bed, this place was a find! Love the shower head, comfy bed, and fire place and pit outside. Thank you for thinking of everything! Also, checking on me when I missed my check in due to my delayed flight. Thanks for caring!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Liked the continental breakfast, great staff, room was comfortable.
Cons: Some street noise.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Innkeepers were super nice. Bedroom was super cozy and my husband and i liked that it was a quiet and small hotel. Very tranquil feeling, perfect for relaxing. We felt right at home.
Cons: Nothing.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet
Cons: Upstairs room, too small, no view, no window, small TV, carpet!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The sheets and bedding were amazing. I also loved the la ocetone (spelling?) products.
Cons: I love the lighting generally in the room but for reading it was a little dim. Think we need a little bit brighter lights at the bedside or reading lights. Also I hope this doesn’t seem petty but since you’re asking… I was kind of excited for the homemade lavender scones advertised on the web website and there weren’t any. The coffee was great but the Costco breakfast bites were a little underwhelming. I would suggest just not advertising the scones if they’re not available and maybe getting a little bit nicer pastries for the morning. I realize it’s out of your control but the construction next-door on Monday morning was super loud. We were checking out so it didn’t really matter but if we’ve been staying the week that would’ve been a problem. I would suggest disclosing that if you’re aware of construction in the area.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Charming ambiance
7.9 Good
Pros: Beds are very comfortable-place was clean. It's definitely a QUIET place-a bit too quiet-but our host was nice all in all- free bikes & drinks was cool. Bike tires need air
Cons: All in all it's very nice-only a couple of things: Jacuzzi time-was playing some low music with our speaker to drownd out the loud buzz noise coming from filters & was told to turn our music down-it was 4:50pm and it wasn't even loud-but we complied. And there were alot of ants crawling in our drinks & almost biting us. Need to put some Terro's out for pest control.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was an amazing place place to stay! So beautiful & peaceful!
Cons: Nothing! Loved everything about it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If you're looking for bustling or mid-century modern or young, head on. If you're looking for quiet and convenient and comfortable, then this is your spot! Mostly older couples who were really enjoying themselves peacefully.
Cons: No complaints

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Design Size of the room The pool Nice atmosphere
Cons: Breakfast was « included » but at 8 o’clock nothing was left and the staff avoided us and the other customers. Too bad because it was our last memory from this nice place. For 300 dollars a night don’t say you offer breakfast if you want to be cheap on it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was INCREDIBLY helpful. Very eager to provide recommendations. The site is beautiful and centrally located.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s our favorite place to stay in Palm Springs
Cons: Our room did not have closets
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about Holiday House was pleasant, from the extremely friendly staff to the gorgeous grounds and ideal downtown location. We could walk to all the food we could dream of, and other things like a theater, casino, bars, massage, etc. Laying by the pool was heaven. Good music, water misters, poolside drinks, and complimentary ice water and sunscreen all day (self-applied of course.)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very stylish little hotel with comfy beds, nicely appointed rooms and a great exterior pool and patio area. Hot tub was well maintained and nice and hot. Lounge areas near fire pits were fun and comfy. Breakfasts were simple but well thought out with fresh fruit and some baked goods and yogurt. Staff was very accommodating.
Cons: It would be nice to have curtains in addition to blinds in the bed room as the rooms get pretty light when the sun comes up. Since you are close to the main drag, there's some street noise to deal with, especially if you are in the front of the building.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Location was good. Otherwise only mediocre
Cons: Lost hot water heater first night. Checked out in AM
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The art and book details made me want to stay all week!
Cons: If there would have been coffee available after breakfast.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff who made you feel exclusive Lovely environment and seat out area Late check out at 12 Good and healthy breakfast - love the banana cakes Welcome drink is a plus Centrally located Nice room - modern and arty decor Comfy King Bed Beautiful and lovely place to stay in Palm Springs Poolside chairs are amazing
Cons: - There isn't really a shower door so water easily spill out everywhere outside the shower and wet the bathroom floor. and the water won't dry over night so it is not safe - limited parking space - the gas fire place near the pool is not environmentally friendly (for those who are climate change conscious) - pool might be a bit small with many Lady bugs that may crawl on your body

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We felt so at home. It was great to be able to pop downstairs for a great cup of coffee first thing in the morning. The staff at the High Bar are so accommodating, and relaxing by the pool, no matter the temperature, was so nice! We never had to wait for our car to be pulled up for us, which is amazing, considering how busy the hotel was during our stay. Also, I loved seeing everyone's dogs! We don't travel with ours, so that was another thing that felt like home:) One last thing, the hotel is beautifully decorated!! I could live with those furnishings day in, day out.
Cons: We didn't have any complaints. The hotel is really elegant, but so friendly and down to earth at the same time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location! Friendly staff! Great food!

Pros: Location was the best. Loved the wine at 5:00 pm every night. Rooftop pool was lovely.
Cons: No closet space. We had 3 people staying in our room for a week with just 3 hooks and one drawer.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The rooftop pool & bars.
Cons: The check in time, this caught me out when booking the property & I think it’s too late when the property for one evenings stay is pricey.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Walls are thin, you can hear evertyrthing from the guy next door pooping and peeing, nice building, but why went cheap
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room and location. I was not happy that the roof bar/ pool was closed The one night for a private event. The roof is a highlight of the hotel and I would have liked to have been informed prior to booking that it would be closed the one night
8.0 Excellent
Cons: I was surprised there were no slippers in our room. I wish I had known so I could've brought my own. I would've liked a blanket in the room as the comforter was too hot. My husband only used the sheet but I had to use bath towels as a blanket.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The fact the hotel was by a canyon and helped it cool it down in a hot summer day. It's also doggie friendly too
Cons: I can't complain

Pros: This place is truly a hidden gem. It's right smack in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, so you can walk everywhere. They provide really nice bicycles also if you rather use them to explore. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The pool area is a favorite of mine. You are able to order food and drinks from the pool as well. Complimentary happy hour from 4 to 5 everyday with beautiful cheese board. Complimentary continental breakfast. Everyone that worked there was very friendly and all the other guests while I stayed were very nice as well. This place really did have great vibes and an incredible atmosphere. My Wife and I had such a great relaxing time here. We will be staying here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super clean, no phone calls poolside and no kids.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are all wonderfully kind and caring. Especially Steve who went above and beyond on several occasions. Thank you to all of you.
Cons: A very loud and noisy group of guests around the pool were very disruptive on the last two days of my stay. This is not a fault of the hotel but rather the proximity of rooms to poolside. So be aware if you are looking for quiet solitude and poolside enjoyment, A little bit of a verbal suggestion to the group by the staff might have helped - possibly. The group were very rude and vulgar.

Pros: The attention to detail was spectacular; the number of reading nooks and day beds outnumbers the guest count (which is quaint, due to the limited rooms) so there is always a private place to call your own; the hot tub and heated pool are divine; the room smelled like fresh lavender; the bathroom has ambiance lighting and full size toiletries; multiple fire pits with very easy dial controls; beautiful grove with sunny day beds, citrus trees, fountains, and a gorgeous view of the mountains; many of the rooms have private patios with beautiful green walls and daybeds; very friendly staff that made it a point to remember your name or give you a recommendation around town - it felt like staying with a very rich, very stylish friend!!!
Cons: People are going to find out about it and it's going to be hard to get a room!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was super and met expectations.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The rooms and grounds were beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. The location is close to downtown, close to lots of local hiking trails and the wifi was great. It’s a little slice of paradise tucked away near downtown.
Cons: Breakfast/coffee was rarely on time which was frustrating and quality/variety was mediocre. I am also an early riser and would have appreciated the option to have coffee earlier or if they had a kettle in the common room I would have brought my bodum to make my own coffee. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbours which unfortunately prevents privacy and interrupted sleep. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and the amenities this hotel offered.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Warm pool and hot jacuzzi! Terrific staff and yummy breakfast.
Cons: Heater in room needed repair
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is amazing! Quiet, beautiful and comfortable, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. I will stay here again if I make it back to the area! Stay here...you will love it.
Cons: I had zero complaints!

6.0 Good
Pros: Large rooms with plenty of space for a family, including separate main bedroom. Pool and washing facilities were handy. Overall gardens and buildings (while older) were in immaculate condition.
Cons: Very dated in design, old 70's brick and mission brown colour scheme, very different to the great building design that Palm Springs is know for. Selected it for the price & space combination but would choose somewhere more modern next time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is clean. It is spacious for our little family. They have all amenities that I need, plus a private patio with BBQ grilled. The pool and jacuzzi close late. It is perfect for our get away.
Cons: We wish there will be an iron and iron board. I don’t know that I couldn’t find it or it was not there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful grounds. Separated cottages. Kitchen. 2 baths. Quiet but near shopping and groceries.
Cons: No breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the suite of rooms itself. Spacious, clean, even a gas fireplace. Have to mention the incredibly helpful staff. Our flight was delayed, and when we contacted the hotel, was extremely helpful. She and everyone made it all work! Lovely stay
9.0 Excellent
Pros: the room and the view
Cons: i prefer to have in the bedroom 2 queen beds instead of 1 bigger
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Appartment was huge and we had everything we needed. Lots of space to unpack the luggages. Nice backyard with grill.
Cons: Some of the kitchen utensils were sightly dated.

4.0 Okay
Pros: Room had a good size bathroom
Cons: Front desk people ignore you. They don't have any answers. Didn't clean room, even after asking it to be cleaned. Came in late in the evening and room key doesn't work. Office not open, so had to sit outside and wait. Found a number to call, then they had to send someone.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: I didn't know we were getting a handicap room. It was awkward. I counted 10 doors.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Our niece had a rain jacket and a pair of expensive sunglasses stolen out of her car. The car was in the garage but the door was open. The next day or so we had a Garmin stolen out of our car. It was in the garage with the garage door closed but obviously the car wasn't locked. I heard you may have had other issues from another guest.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, pleasant staff. The apartment was large and had full kitchen.
Cons: We arrived late evening and were given a second floor apartment, upon arriving at our building we noted the elevator was out of order, (it is specifically for disabled persons) This was a concern as we were here to visit my wife’s mother who is wheelchair bound, in the morning I went directly to the front desk to enquire about the elevator, I was told it was being worked on today. We left for the day happy that it would be working by the time we returned, only to find on our return it was not fixed. While away we went grocery shopping as the apartment has a full kitchen and the reason we chose this facility was because we wanted to bring my wife’s mother to visit with us and lunch or dinner with us while she enjoyed seeing her grandson. With the elevator still out of order this was not possible, I went to see the front desk again only to be told the technician was on site working on the elevator but if we wanted to move to a ground floor apartment we could, I explained we’d just been shopping and were very settled in the apartment we had, if the tech was on site why would we need to move? The following day I asked again why the elevator wasn’t working, as we only had two days left we made alternate plans to visit family in Arizona for the day. I called the facility while we were away, I was told the elevator was fixed!! So we came directly to the facility with my wife’s mother only to find it not working still, we did our best to enjoy the pool area, but as the sun lowered it got cool quickly and made it uncomfortable to stay outside. We cut the visit with mother in law short and took her home. This was a very disappointing situation, especially as we’d chosen this place because of its location and the ability to allow us to bring my wife’s mother in to visit with her only grandson.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: 2nd time staying at Welk Desert Oasis resort. Staff is friendly and location is great. Facilities are good, though a refresh at some point would be nice.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Felt like home. Very respectful
Cons: Awesome staff love them
6.5 Good
Cons: Charges was made on my credit card after I check out. I have ask the front desk to make sure all charges is apply so I can pay in full. Because I made a payment on my credit card account then I realized there’s an extra $56 charged after I checked out
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious 1 bedroom villa, king bed was very comfortable and sofa bed was pretty good too actually, no bar in your back like some sofa beds will do! Kitchen was great to have and everything you’d need is there. Fridge has an ice maker even. Shower’s water pressure was great. They provide travelers shampoo, conditioner, shaver and cream, deodorant, shower caps, and lotion. Hair dryer and plenty of towels in bathroom as well. An ironing board was in the room. Two robes and slippers were in closet. Tv in bedroom. Central AC worked great. Spacious patio/deck with chairs and small table. The pool was convenient and relaxing, never too packed or too loud either. Music most days plays lightly in background. Poolside cafe had food and drinks but was out of a few things during our stay. Pretty basic stuff. The alcoholic drinks were not strong so I recommend getting a double if you want to taste any alcohol in it. Pool towels were available in our villa or near the pool and there is a convenient restroom near the pool as well. This resort has daily activities (some you pay for some you don’t) but it is a nice option for families or just something to do! Location was convenient for us, stores and coffee nearby but not really walking distance unless you like long walks. The country club restaurant, Jax, is close by within walking distance as well. No issues with the parking and check in and out was quick. The property was well taken care of and great views of the pool and palm trees! We loved our stay and will likely come back to stay. Overall a very relaxing vacation, just what we wanted! Thank you Welks Resort!
Cons: Poolside cafe not a big menu and out of many things like olives and lettuce and even chicken at one point. Could be easily fixed though. Not a huge deal for us, just bummers.

Pros: Nice people. Very clean.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff is great. Grounds are well kept.
Cons: Coffee now not available till 6am this doesnt work for me being an early riser.
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: The restaraunt was good but they certainly didnt put a lot of effort into providing much information about it The grounds has potential ie pool and lounging areas, but needs a major overhaul if it wants to be competitive.
Cons: Pool was small and cloudy Rooms not very functional ie sink in bedroom not bath Staff was congenial but not warm and inviting. Not very professional. The warmest greeting was when we left. Water pipes loud Zero simple amenities like shampoo, body wash, extra toilet paper Room decor dated. The comforter was purple quilted. Looks like something my grandmother owns.some rooms looked more stylish but unsure why.
7.0 Good
Pros: The facilities are always good at CCBC. We like the new second party room. The restaurant is a great addition as well so we don't have to go out for food as it's already there. We like the food selection and the staff is always friendly.
Cons: The chairs in the room are falling apart. They need to be changed immediately. We were there when it was supposed to be an event night but there was not a lot of people unfortunately. It used to be so busy, what happened? Marketing of this place seemed to have waned.
