The view from my room and lobby
Good views, but only if you are into a concrete cliche with a bit of beach etc. Great hotel if you hate a party vibe and want to enjoy your retirement.
I booked the hotel because branding alludes to Blue Marlin Ibiza which was not accurate and confusing. There was definitely no exclusive and cool Blue Marlin vibe. I was informed that there actually is a DJ on Saturday’s, however I did not have time to wait till Saturday Staff at reception we’re very average. Boring, mediocre and tasteless celebration of mediocrity.
Location is fabulous, right on the beach next to restaurants and across from the arch. The pool area is pretty and fun, with a swim up bar, cabana style furnishings, and an adjacent Café.
The electronica music was extremely loud and unpleasant, and inescapable if you want to sit by the pool. Only for a few minutes one day did they play real pop music. That may be why there weren’t many people at the pool most of the time. Other weird things also happened. — The shower in our room was only lukewarm. My calls about it were pointless. — We were awakened at 7:30 AM Monday morning to the screaming sounds of a concrete saw, thanks to remodeling downstairs. — The front desk and our concierge forgot to tell us about the buffet breakfast, that was included with our room. We didn’t even know they offered breakfast, as the café served only lunch and dinner. Finding that out on the 3rd day was extremely annoying. — The hotel has no hot tub/Jacuzzi at the pool. Only certain rooms have their own hot tub, or you can pay extra to use one in a confined space in the spa facility. — A single can of Coke and a small handful of M&Ms cost us $25 in our minibar. Management was indifferent to my concerns and our experience, but finally agreed to take off a meager $30 for all the trouble we experienced. We still paid $1850 for the four days there. Crazy.
The breakfast which was included was one of about 4-5 different options.
We were expecting a more lively experience. There was just a very, very small group of people staying at the property. Those there were generally families, so if you're expecting to meet single people, you may be disappointed. The grounds were very clean and well kept. Rooms were fine. Location is good, with decent restaurants outside of the grounds, like at Chubby Noodle, Italian Job, an Indian restaurant and a delicious Italian restaurant when you walk out to the left on the main street.
Beds great, Veiw unbelievable. Easy access to everywhere
ME Cabo is the kind of destination that guests will remember for years to come. Its tall, arching palm trees gently nod towards the sea, providing an introduction to one of the world’s most attractive ocean scapes. As guests recline by the pool, they have several options meant to maximize relaxation at their fingertips. Drinks can be delivered from the bar to accompany the view of the sea and the Mexican skyline.
The location of ME Cabo may be one of its best features, however. It is only a few minutes' walk to all of the nightclubs of the ever-popping Cabo San Lucas party scene. Also, in the downtown area, patrons can enjoy luxurious shopping destinations or snap some pics at El Arco.
The stylish beach club is poised to spoil guests with sumptuous meals inspired by the diverse cuisine of Mexico and beyond. The swim up bar is a great way to enjoy a cooling drink while taking a dip in the pool. If the pools aren’t enough, Cabo’s only swimmable beach is on site, allowing guests to bathe in the warm but refreshing waters.
Pets are welcome at the resort, so there’s no need to find a sitter, and the hotel prides itself on being friendly to those of the LGBTTTIQA community as well.
With all of the options available at the chic-designed ME Cabo, guests may not want to leave. Venturing outside, however, provides a fuller taste of the unique take on Mexico the Cabo San Lucas area offers.
