Pros:Vehicle was a newer model with nice features for an economy option.Cons:Extra options were added to my rental agreement without any discussion. This almost doubled the price of my reservation. I understand it's on me to be careful when signing for anything but changing our agreement without alerting the customer is deceptive. The staff were unwilling to make adjustments even when showing them my original reservation receipt.Reviewed 30 Oct 2020

Pros:If I didn't call the day before to confirm my rental I wouldn't have had a car rental since they didn't have my information. Review Budge Nashua NH - Ford transitPros:The van was comfortable to drive.Cons:They did not clean the van or the windows. They did not have the type of mini-van we requested but the one we chose was ok. They did not accept the insurance I paid for on they Kayak website, they required a $300 deposit. They charged us for mileage even though the rental was unlimited and also charged a concession fee of $24.71. I will never use budget again.Reviewed 14 May 2018

Cons:They Charged me crazy amounts for insurance. $173.00. picked up Monday at 10:00 and returned it Tuesday at 615pm. That is a crazy amount for a crappy car! Will go back to using Enterprise! @ weeks prior rented from them and got a beautiful Nissan Maxima for only 85.00 with insurance for a day! Will never use Budget again!!Reviewed 27 Sep 2017

Pros:The drop off, the person at the desk was quite friendly and welcoming Made me think I had walked into the wrong place. The car itself was not too bad, it had the amenities you would look for and the miles per gallon were quite good as well. The price was decent compared to others.Cons:The pick up was horrible, it was on a holiday and they were not there for the time the car was booked for. After calling the number on the door, I was all but told that I was stupid for not checking if they were open. I had tried to book some other cars the day before and they gave an automatic check back they were not open, others, including Budget, were allowing to book a car and still they were not there. Person I called did come and give me the car after 20 minutes, but even after seeing the 6 other people standing and waiting there for pick up, he had to point out to me that I should have checked. The car was also quite dirty inside. Not even the obvious crumbs on the back seat had been taken off. Final taxes were not clear online which threw me as well.Reviewed 15 Sep 2017

Renter BewarePros:Car was available on time. Easy to get to and get out.Cons:Aside from the rental smelling like cigarette smoke and the car driving poorly (lot of road noise and a slipping transmission), I had a nightmare of a drop-off experience. When I returned the rental the final cost was more than 3x the original booking amount. They added a $28 / day insurance policy and made no mention of it to me during the pick-up. They claim this must have been added on as an option when booking through Kayak, but when I reviewed (and showed them) my booking, there was no mention of the added insurance. I spoke with the manager and the owner of this branch and they made 0 effort of remedying the situation. I will not be using this branch again and will be contacting Budget directly.Reviewed 7 Sep 2017

Good daily rate but high feesPros:We rented a 7 person minivan. Site said " grand caravan or similar". We got a ford transit connect. Good rate, car fit the bill. If you are going to rent it know the connect does not have the luggage space of the caravan which may be a negative, but that also makes the vehicle shorter, which in our case was a positive. The deal was not as good as it looked. $78 + 100 mi/day is a good rate, but we ended up with $116.00 dollars in fees for a 4 day rental. I understand fees, but this seems excessive. NH Rental 35.44. (Included tax on fees charged) Vehicle license fee: 28.58. (Should be $5 - $10) Concession fee: $42.93. ( this was not rented at an airport so I do not know where this fee comes in)Cons:Fees seemed excessive.Reviewed 22 Aug 2017
