I do not understand the logic behind a car rental agency that is one hr from the Rockie mtns not listing only winter tire vehicles. To leave it as an upgrade and significant cost at the counter is outrageous. It may not be law to have winter tires on the vehicles being rentable, but highlight that fact on your booking site. It is misleading and not a fair price comparison. And, the amount of surcharges etc are obscene and should be disclosed on your final booking ONLINE, again NOT at the ticket counter when everyone is in a frenzy to get on the road to their destination. As well, there was no walk thru of the vehicle features like windshield wipers, lights, gas tank etc. At initial use of my wiper blades the wipers did not actually touch the glass and was left w a blob of frozen windshield fluid which I had to pullover and scrape off. Eventually the wipers must have warmed up and we’re operational. I was very dissatisfied w my experience and shocked at the outrageous cist of my online quote if $358 to walking away w a key for $958!!? Pls investigate this further, I’d be happy to share my documents!!!!!!!!Reviewed 14 Mar 2023

Rented a Mitsubishi car, my options were a pickup truck or Ford escape. Went with the Ford, car was clean on the outside with 3 chips in the windshield. Interior was not cleaned, dog hair in the back and front seats. $90 a day and returned 20 hours early.Reviewed 11 Feb 2023

I went to the Budget Rental car counter at the time of my reservation. There were many people in line (30?50?) and the line was not moving. After 60 minutes, I interrupted a budget employee to ask what the problem was. Did they not have cars? I was told "Don't worry. We have lots of cars. But we are having computer issues which are preventing us from accessing reservations and renting cars. It should be fixed soon". After 30 more minutes, the line still had not moved so I gave up and caught a taxi. I had a reservation but I was not able to wait more than 90 minutes so I did not rent a car. The silver lining is that I had not paid in advance for my reservation so it was easier to change gears and take a taxi.Reviewed 9 Feb 2023

Could have got a car like I thought we were getting not a gas guzzler truck. Truck could have been clean windshield was filthy on inside had to stop to clean. They should change mystery car to mystery vehicle although should just be mystery truck as the worker told us that it’s always a truck never a car you get and counter person needs to speak a little more clearly hard to understandReviewed 7 Feb 2023

Had a very nice Ford Escape but the windshield fluid line was broken. Had to return the car to get a new one. Second one unfortunately did not have apple carplay like the first one did. They were great about the exchange of vehicles and staff were quite nice.Reviewed 25 Jan 2023
