The counter attendant made no effort to locate a vehicle with satellite radio service.Reviewed 26 Dec 2025

Horrendous. Waited 2 hours bc they overbooked. 7 people ahead of me in the same situation. Then the only option I was given was to pay extra for a luxury car despite it being the only car and not my choice.Reviewed 14 Jul 2025

Extremely bad experience with Avis. Waited over an hour in live to get my car. The location in Brooklyn was extremely understaffed and disorganized. Return was quick at least, but the staff member yelled at me like I was a criminal. I’ve never been treated so badly as a customer. And then the bill was $100 more than the estimate for no apparent reason. I spent $250 and 90 minutes in line just to drive 60 miles. I will not rent from Avis ever again.Reviewed 14 Jul 2025

Arrived at 4:17pm for my 4:15pm pickup. Line had about 10-12 people in front of me. One person working. At 4:43 there were still 6 people ahead of me. I canceled my reservation and borrowed a friend’s car instead. 30min later and I still wasn’t able to get my rental is unacceptable. It would have taken nearly an hour had I continued to wait.Reviewed 23 Feb 2025

The drop off at Midway was very confusing. Directions were very unclear. And there were no luggage trolleys available which made unloading the car extremely difficult.Reviewed 22 Dec 2024
