Excellent 9.0
Pros: Everything
Cons: French fries are frozen
Excellent 8.2
Pros: The location and all the history that goes with the place
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Huge rooms. Beautiful location. Extremely comfortable bed. Overall, pleasant and luxurious stay. Would recommend.
Cons: Bath tub could have been cleaner. Also didn’t care for the lack of shower walls and clear toilet door.
Good 7.0
Pros: It is a beautifully sighted hotel.Wonderful views over the Nile and surroundings. Very Old Colonial in feeling. It just is not up to the hype of it..although there is not much competition...and the glitzy first glance.
Cons: The rooms were dark and fairly uncomfortable. Housekeeping sprayed everything with room freshener which is highly toxic. The shower backed up and flooded the floor...although thy did come to fix it quickly. And the food and wine were way below par for this kind of a hotel.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The stuff were really amazing specially “tharwat” front desk.
Cons: The price of the food.were too high and less amount.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel location
Cons: Food was bad
Good 7.1
Pros: View
Cons: It is not 300+ USD hotel, may be view is amazing but room size and services can't fall in this category, even Bath tube has some rusty parts.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Location is good, view is excellent
Cons: Rooms are not clean, old furniture, ridiculously over priced , not a value for the huge money.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Location
Cons: The value
Good 7.1
Pros: Amazing swimming pool. Good breakfast. Stunning view of Nile. Hotel is located in an island, with beautiful gardens and amazing views. Hotel is much greater outside than inside.
Cons: Confusing check in. Staff keep offering you their private “guided tourist services”. No concierge... we had to go to the other tower of the hotel (there are two separated towers) to get information about tours - and it was hard to get someone to help us.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location is great, service is professional, and rooms were clean and comfort, food is amazing
Cons: nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The view and location made me imagine 2,000 years ago
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Super friendly staff! Great room & view! Yummy food!
Cons: Room needs a doorbell & bath needs an exhaust fan!
Good 6.5
Pros: Staff was very helpful! Relaxing atmosphere
Cons: hotel is not in good shape taking a ferry to get to the hotel not convenient if you're just staying for a night to go to Abu Simbel food was expensive and poor

Pros: The view from the roof is exceptional
Cons: Morning food.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Abdel and his staff make the enjoyment of your stay their top priority. Everyone is kind, attentive and generous. The food was delicious, the beds were clean and comfortable and whatever you may want to do for the day is at your fingertips. Bet el Kerem has been the highlight of our time in Egypt so far.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location over looking the tombs of the nobles which is well worth a visit. The colors are incredible. All the staff were very helpful. The food was the best we’d had in Egypt. I’m glad we chose to have dinner here. We highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again! Wish we had booked more than 1 night.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I loved everything. The guest house is on the West Bank which means you're isolated from the busy city and the noise. But it's also 2 mins from the local ferry which means you can reach the city in less than 10 mins for 2 pounds without any hassle unlike gharb soheil island. It's the perfect balance between calm and accessibility. The guest house is very clean and the breakfast is very good. We also had lunch twice there and it was excellent. Abu Karim, the owner, makes amazing food, is very generous with the quantities and constantly checks if we're happy and if we want anything. The roof is very cute, it's where you have breakfast/lunch and you can just chill there. They have tea and coffee available all the time, mineral water, and an assortment of fruits, all of which are free of charge. The staff is super nice and helpful. I enjoyed my stay a lot, and I'll definitely be going back there.
Cons: The bathroom in our room doesn't have walls, it's in the corner of the room with curtains around it. This made it a bit uncomfortable for us to use the toilet because it's awkward when other people are in the room and also you worry about the smell. However, there are several bathrooms outside the rooms so it compensates for the room's bathroom and it didn't affect our stay at all. Using the shower in the room was good, I didn't need to use the one outside.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The silence
Excellent 8.0
Pros: We had a great stay at Bet El Kerem guesthouse. The house itself is an old Egyptian family house with a beautiful garden and sparkling clean common areas. Great rooftop with dining area and Nile view. The breakfast cooked on site every day is delicious, especially shakshuka and taameya (Egyptian falafel). Location is very convenient 5 minutes walk from the arrival of the West Bank ferry. The guesthouse also houses a travel agency which organises activities in and around Aswan (camel safari, trip to Abu Simbel, felucca ride to Kom Ombo) with excellent service providers and at prices much lower than the ones proposed on cruise ships for example. The owner Abdel is very helpful and takes care of every detail along the way. Definitely a very good pick for a 4-5 days stay in Aswan, the wonderful capital of Nubia
Cons: The only negative point was the shortage of hot water in the bathrooms' hotel, which is hard during Egyptian winter! This should be fixed soon but better to check status with the owner before arriving.
Good 7.5
Pros: Convenient location close to the ferry on Aswan West, away from the city stress.
Cons: Internet and air conditioning not working most of the time.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Abdel is the best host we have ever had. His place was super clean, the beds were very soft and comfortable, and his cooking was delicious. We loved the garden and rooftop patio. His place is super close to the ferry (6:00 - 24:00) allowing you to get across the river easily for food. He also provides amazing trip experiences at a fraction of the cost. If you don't want to find food across the river, Abdel is a cook with 30+ years of experience and is willing to make you anything you want. We were so, so sad to leave his place after our stay.
Cons: There wasn't really a lot we thought could have been better. The shower/bathroom was a little odd in our room with how the shower curtains were closed. They could probably be hung better but overall, we didn't really care or notice.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Abdel made the stay excellent, very accommodating and he knows the area VERY well.. And they know him which helps!
Cons: Water pressure in the shower.. That's really it
Excellent 9.6
Pros: This the perfect place to stay for anyone who likes to have a more personal and local experience. We liked the fact that it was a home from home with fruit, chilled water, teas and coffee to help ourselves to at any time. The house was decorated in the Nubian style, painted a bright blue with bright fabrics and soft furnishings. Its slight imperfections were its charm. The roof terrace was laid out for dining and relaxing and was cool and quiet. The garden was likewise a quiet and shady place to sit or walk round. Our host, Abdul couldnt have been more welcoming or taken more trouble to ensure our stay was enjoyable. He even did our washing and arranged for ironing. He is a great cook and serves a fresh buffet and meal in the evenings and willingly prepared vegetarian food for us. He also arranged a good driver for a return trip to Abu Simbel which was a fantastic day out (including a large packed breakfast). We really enjoyed getting the ferry to the East Bank which was quick and runs constantly.
Cons: There is nothing we didnt like
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The local connection was incredible. Abdul was an amazing host and showed us true Nubian hospitality. Breakfast was delicious and the two dinners we had prepared by the onsite cook were incredible. We loved sitting on the roof-top terrace, overlooking the nile and the Noble tombs, and enjoying the quietness of the area. It was also fun to take the local ferry across the Nile, away from the hoards of tourist crowds.
Cons: Everything was fantastic@

Pros: The place itself was beautiful with a stellar view. The food was delicious. Most importantly, our host Khaled, was the most sincere and helpful person ever. He arranged Abu Simbel tour for us as well as made sure we went to the Kalabsha Temple with his car. He also dropped us to the train station himself and had his cousin pick us from the airport. Everyone else at the property is also very friendly. It felt like home and we would definitely go back again!
Excellent 8.8
Cons: Great view
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Khaled who is owner of the guest house is main man. His attention to customers is everything. He doesn't have all ultra modern gadgets in hand but his attitude to help you makes all the difference. He treats his guests more like a family member.
Cons: Internet connection is poor. But tell you what I am glad I didn't have that to really bother about constantly updating folks back home. Enjoyed peace and serenity of a quaint village . Sitting on terrace day and night and watching Nile flow was amazing experience.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: My husband and I spent a vivid vacation at Eka Dolli guest house, one should say that this was real hospitality with kind and helpful staff Ibrahim and Tallat, in particular, were extremely nice and continued working all the time to guarantee that we have the best vacation. Khalid the owner is an honest and kind person with a wide smile. The food is beyond delicious thanks to the great Chef ♥ Rooms are clean with private bathrooms and AC . 4 days in heaven and we will be coming back next year! Thanks ♥ p.s this was my second visit to Eka Dolli and we are coming for a third longer visit:D
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Beautiful hotel located in an amazing location. The rooftop terrace is a great place to spend your evenings overlooking the Nile. The staff are very helpful. Be sure to go for a walk around the village, everyone is very friendly and there is a great spot to swim in the Nile. The food served at the hotel is delicious, some the best meals we’ve had in Egypt.
Cons: The tours we booked would not pick us up from this hotel as they said it was too far out of Aswan. If you do plan to spend a lot of time in Aswan City, transport costs can add up. Would be helpful to know a bit of Arabic as staff’s English is limited.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This is a fabulous guesthouse. Yes, it is away from the centre of Aswan, but that is exactly what I wanted. Khaled is the perfect host, and I felt very welcome, especially as I was travelling solo. Khaled also provided transportation when need as well as arranging my tour to Abu Simbel. I highly recommend a stay at Ekadolli in the Gharb Soheil Nubian Village. It is peaceful, cultural and food is amazing. Great value for money.

Pros: The wait service by the pool was great. The view from the roof was really good and the terrace restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Also, it is right next to the Nubian museum.
Cons: Chairs or a place to sit on the roof, rather than the discarded furniture up there. It would be a really nice place for a rooftop bar.

Cons: The people not really welcoming

Cons: The hotel change my booking and give me a different room although I paid for the expensive one , they tried to fix this mistake by giving me a family studio in the executive club it has a better view but away from the main building with out elevator with no balcony and not equal what I have paid for

Pros: I like the staff and the receptionist was very helpful, the housekeeping ( Hamdy ) was very quick and devoted . The location was exceptional. The shuttle boat was 24/7 which was great . Breakfast was very nice
Cons: Old furniture , old toilettes and they still use keys for the doors , no kids club or animation team to entertain the whole family .
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Hotel is very nice..staff are friendly ..kind people esp Mr Hamdy manager of floor .. amazing stay on Nile river ..my family asked me to return back in next Winter.. good buy Aswan ..land of magic kingdom of History ..the land of Sun ..and kind people..thnx Pyramisa staff ..nice smile for all of you
Cons: Nothing
Good 7.0
Pros: The location of the Hotel is amazing, magnificent view and a free boat trip every time going in and out.
Cons: we have requested a certain room and they didn't check us in until we have insisted to get it. despite the room was vacant. we have requested a baby crib but they didn't provide us until we have requested it from the room services. the elevator numbering was confusing so if you press on the lobby button it opens at the third floor.
Good 7.1
Pros: The location is good and the rooms are fine .
Cons: The reception took a long time for check in , the receptionist wasn’t that flexible also .
Good 7.1
Pros: Stunning location on an island in the Nile. The ferryboat operators were especially courteous and helpful, but the entire staff showed dedication to accommodating guest service requests.
Cons: Seedy rooms and infrastructure in the main building reflected the decline in tourist visits. Could use a major cleanup and renovation.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The view,value for mony,Staff
Cons: Nothing
Good 7.7
Pros: the location is second to none, looking at so many trees and flowers with Nile views all around.Handy motorboat service to the town. Taking a leisurely motorboat trip into the area around the hotel was magic.I saw many birds and the time of day I chose to go,4pm is just perfect for photographing the area. The room had 2 balconies it also had tv fridge a large bed and a marble ensuite. This was a little tired though but anything required was seen to by housekeeping straight away. The food was good a nice varied buffet for breakfast and evening meal.A meal from room service was fairly quick and good value.
Cons: the gardening team starting to cut down some dead trees and saw up the branches (with a chain saw )at 8am on saturday morning.I know that radical gardening has to take place to encourage new growth but spring isn't the right time, anywhere!and 8am is very early. There was not enough staff for the restaurant service by the pool and I had words re a lack of change, later resolved. The food was good though. there was no a la carte restaurant,so wanting a simple meal one evening we took the motorboat to the town.
Good 7.9
Pros: Location and food, friendly staff

Cons: Hotel was closed after booking with Orbitz and was in run down poor condition. They need to check their listings and make sure their hotels are still in business. Ana Kato did not answer my phone calls prior to arrival and Orbitz will not refund my money claiming I did not call ahead. How do you call a closed hotel? This hotel is unethical and will not refund my money claiming I did not call. The fact that Orbitz will not make things right makes it worse. DO NOT USE ORBITZ...THEY DO NOT CHECK THEIR PROPERTIES NOR TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS WITH FAIRNESS OR RESPECT.

Pros: breakfast was good and the hotel is directly at the corniche. Stuff was very friendly and helpful especially Peter at the reception.
Cons: please more sockets in the rooms. tourists have to charge handys kameras ebooks....... and one socket next to the bed would be good
Mediocre 3.8
Pros: The property was close to the train station.
Cons: The rooms are in a state of disrepair yet the price of room is high compared with Egyptian standards. Bathrooms are mouldy and old. Flat sheets are used on the bed with no mattress protector meaning the mattress is regularly exposed. Staff are only helpful if they can sell you tours (at inflated prices)
Good 7.5
Pros: We had a huge, comfortable room. Staff were friendly. Great location by the train station, ferry to the West Bank and souk.
Cons: No WiFi (it exists n theory but it’s too slow to even browse email), very expensive for a 3 star hotel, horribly designed bathroom, hard to get hot water
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: i
Cons: We ordered tour to absinael. Hotel staff tried to cheat us. tour fee should be 200egypt pondo but they offer us 30 dollar for each person. Also they said they will use private buss for 8person, however there are around 15person. To make matters worse, they were late more than 90 minutes. This hotel is terrible so i reccomend you not to book. moreover, the electricity has stopped 4 times for each night.
