It is a matter of what your itinerary looks like and your lifestyle. Compact and economy cars are the easiest to park and are ideal for short drives. A small family that loves to travel in style could use a mid-size SUV as it has more room for luggage and extra comfort. A group of travelers might want to rent a passenger van. The premium category suits those looking for extravagance on their trip to Moab.
A person who hasn’t been registered under the rental agreement is not permitted to drive the vehicle. Unless they are verified at the rental office, it would be a breach of contract, which has serious consequences. When adding a driver to the car rental contract in CNY Airport, make sure they are at least 21 years old and, just like you, have a valid driver’s license.
It isn’t easy to pick up a car rental at Moab Canyonlands Field Airport if you are below 21 years, even if you book in advance. Most rental companies at CNY have a unique program for clients under 25 years, whereby a surcharge policy applies.
Since every company wants to be financially protected, they require you to have an insurance plan before picking up your car. Good insurance coverage can reduce your security deposit at the car rental center in CNY Airport. The insurance excess amounts differ for each car rental provider. If you present your basic insurance, make sure it applies to international pickups as well as the class of car you want to ride in. If your credit card insurance doesn’t suffice, consider getting an additional policy at the time of booking. Full coverage protects your finances in the event of collision and damage.
Pros:Easy everything at both ends; car (Mercedes SUV) was fabulous.
Pros:The ladies that helped me were great. Friendly and professional.
Cons:The car had two bad tires, was a bit smelly and needed a good cleaning
Pros:They did give us a bit of a discount, which helped with the added cost of transportation downtown from airport, but it was very upsetting
Cons:My booking was intended to be at the airport. I googled “grand junction car rentals” and it automatically propagated the downtown location for me, but it did not say non airport. It should have been clearer that this was not an airport rental. When I went back on the website after my trip to see what went wrong, it did the same thing. If I change the location that said Grand Junction then I see the top choice is airport, but the original google search automatically put in the downtown location as pick up and drop off. When I do searches in Kayak and other sites it is very clear, but the Enterprise site was not. This was very inconvenient! I’ve never had this happen before.
Pros:Staff friendly and helpful
Pros:Good customer service during check-in process
Cons:The car was filthy. Never was cleaned. Food wrappers inside, mud/dirt and dust.
Pros:The staff was absolutely horrible, I made a reservation online.. when my plane landed.. the car rental place was closed an I had to fine away out of the airport. When I called customer service they told me they couldn't help me and it wasn't their problem.. No when I asked to be transferred to a supervisor she informed me there was no one there to assist me and hung up.. so not only did I not get my rental at all.. but I also had the most rude representative on earth.. very upset!! Wasted a total of 3 hours of my time
Cons:make sure if you are accepting reservations for rentals.. that someone is actually there to assist the customer.. and bump up your customer service... absolutely appalled.
Pros:Staff was nice but it was unorganized
Cons:Original car had a nail in the tire, then when I went back, the store was closed. After waiting, I received a new car, that was filthy and extremely uncomfortable.
Pros:The staff was super quick, prepared, and courteous. The car was very nicely equipped.
Cons:It could be a little more affordable.
8.4 Very Good
Pros:All went very smooth.
Cons:Had large white writing on windshield that I couldn't remove
Pros:When our SW flight landed unexpectedly in Grand Junction (due to bad weather in Denver), we were able to get the last one-way rental from Avis. Great customer service, nice car, no hassle paperwork. We were on our way in a jiffy. Thanks Avis!
Pros:Not much - was a super average
Cons:The staff here were wonderful the second day, but the pick-up was very hostile, and dismissive. They did the usual add-on speel - you want X, X, X? However they tried to push an upgrade on me - I live here and I think they thought I was a tourist. You do NOT need a full 4x4 for these mountain roads... This is Colorado, not the steppes of Mongolia.
Pros:Friendly staff, super easy pick up and drop off.
Pros:The free upgrade was very nice!
Cons:Nothing. I was very pleased
Cons:The pick up address on the email that you guys sent me was wrong. That left me in a lurch and I wound up having to walk to the new location while I was short on time.
Pros:The rental car lady was the best I have experienced in many years. Helpful, polite and very knowledgeable. We rented from the Sears outlet in Grand Junction, CO.
