The options for breakfast were extensive. The English breakfast was hot and tasty. The location was close to the ferry; in fact we were able to walk with our luggage when we left. Helpful, friendly staff and owners. Allowed us to stay for 2 extra hours at check out time so we didn't have to wait at the ferry terminal.
Didn't have any issues at all.
Very good breakfast - Manx Kippers were exceptional.
The apartments were nice sized. Great location
Lovely staff from the front dest staff to the owner. Building and facilities are really dated so expect 2 to 3 star accommodation. Carpets are old and you won't walk on it barefoot. Bedding was dated as hell. Complained and got newer bedding.
We didn't have breakfast there, but we did have a meal one evening.
Room was spacious, with very comfortable king sized bed. Curtains did a good job of keeping out light from Street lights outside. Pleasant view from room, also could see Tower of Refuge in Douglas Bay. Tea and coffee readily available in the room. Lots of literature at reception for things to do and places to visit all over the Isle of Man. The owners very kindly allowed us to drop our bags early on the day of booking in, to allow us to start our touring almost immediately. The choices of breakfast were good (from a traditional British point of view), and service was excellent on the first two days. (We think staff shortages caused an issue on our final day - off-peak in late September, so perhaps understandable sometimes, but not when the breakfast room caters for three "sites", and several clients present.)
For the price we paid, we do not expect all the bathroom fittings to be new. From a seated position (ahem!), one can see that the base of the shower tray needs a little TLC, to smarten it up a little. The wardrobe and dressing table look dated, but they are functional.
