Nothing place was closed no customer service could not pick up rental at airport
I was so thankful to book a low cost, last minute rental. However, I was redirected from the budget line to the Avis line, there was one employee which took 45 minutes to get to the one employee there. That’s unfortunate but understandable. Regrettably, I was then redirected to the “fastbreak” location downstairs which had an additional 45 MINUTE wait. Signage next to the sign mentioning going to Avis would be helpful to avoid much of this situation in the future.

This was the SDF airport Budget rental counter. They told me I was unable to rent without a credit card on hand. Fair, I didn't know that was necessary. They then directed me 10 miles away to a Budget location they said could take my debit card. When I arrived, the second location was filthy, stinky and creepy. The clerk there told me they couldn't take debit card either, and the airport clerk probably told me that just to get rid of me. Because there were no accommodations or ways for someone without a credit card on hand to even consider renting a car, we had to call me elderly mother to drive 5 hours to pick us up so we could drive another five hours back to Pittsburgh. Miserable experience, I will never even try to rent from Budget again, and I will likely never rent a car again at all.
Guy was rude and cancle my reservation Than i get from enterprise my rental car.
Pickup time was Sunday at 12 noon. Arrived 12:02. Guy said we closed at 12 and wouldn’t give me rental. Customer service sent me to another location guaranteeing vehicle. Drove to this location to find no rental to meet 7 passengers. Drive to inconvenient third Budget location and had to pay more. Needless to say, extremely late to destination because lazy worker at first location would not give me the keys. He was very rude as well. Pathetic customer service. I will never rent from Budget/Avis again.
