Despite having no cars available/clean/ready to rent, Budget continued to take reservations for new car rentals. The guy at the counter said it would be "at least 30 minutes" til a car was ready but could offer no more details. I asked how many people were ahead of me and he said 15! There were many people there who had waited much longer than 30 minutes. I finally got a call about a car 2+ hours later. By then I had already given up and taken a taxi to my hotel, and a taxi to dinner. The rental ended up costing me $50 more than it should have due to the costs of the taxis and a lot of unnecessary hassles. I will not rent from Budget again.

Gave me an EV to travel in the mountains. Representative told me it would be no issue as there was a charging cable in the car to charge it where we were staying. She offered to downgrade a car but pay extra, because she said there was a cord to charge it we decided to give it a try. Turned out there was no charging cable or adapter and was unable to use the car in fear of having no battery to get back to the airport and did not want to spend half a day driving back to swap it out or find and sit at a charger.

Pick- up and drop-off are in the terminal. The person on duty was very efficient and wait time was nominal. The car could have been cleaner. Inside of the windows hasn't been cleaned, ever? Very cloudy. Right front tire need air and the message that it was time for an oil change greeted me daily. The car was a hybrid Pacifica and drove very well, with gas mileage approaching 40 mpg! All and all a good experience.

Vehicle was dirty inside and outside when I picked it up. I received a text message three days after I turned the vehicle in stating that my vehicle had not been returned and it was over due. I handed the keys to one of the employees when I returned on the due date.

When I picked up my car, I was offered insurance for the vehicle. Usually I get it, but this time it was ridiculously high! Over $40 per day...which was twice as much as the highest rate I'd paid in the past.

Pickup took forever. Wait was almost an hour. The agent at pickup was very pleasant and easy to work with. Drop off was easy and agent was very pleasant. Vehicle was clean and in good condition.

Cons:

The vehicle STUNK of cigarettes . Took 4 days to clear up . Drove with the windows open when ever possible . Wife suffers from Emphysema Very dissapointing

Not having an electric vehicle. It was very stressful finding charge stations and the time needed to complete a charge. We had one weekend to enjoy a wedding. 13 hours of it was sitting at a charge stations. There are very few level 3 stations - so HOURS are needed at a level 2.

Friendly front desk lady.

Cons:

Someone was supposed to meet us at the car, he didn't and we found him wondering around the rental garage. Car was dirty inside and out, AIR CONDITIONING didn't work and only found that out the next day when it was 95f outside. Literally miserable driving around in it. No directions to drop off in Fayetteville, NC. No pre inspection so i filmed everything to make sure i wasnt blamed for how dirty the car was, even AFTER i paid to run it through a car wash. You think covid times would ensure a clean inside but finger prints everywhere, on the screen, dirt in the back seat, just gross.

The staff at the counter when I arrived was courteous and fast. Very helpful, 10/10 I ordered a "mid-side SUV," comparable to a Toyota RAV4, and received a Jeep Renegade. To me, it was a wagon—and a small one at that—not a mid-size SUV. But I was in too much of a hurry to contest it.

The car I had reserved had a flat tire so they gave us a different car that was very nice. Drop off was fine - we figured it out even though there was no staff in the garage.
