Pros: The check out was quick and easy. Friendly attendance.
Cons: The cost of daily insurance. $22 or $24 per day to protect from a windshield crack? The first vehicle already had a chip and was about to break. We upgraded to a SUV. There was a tire out of balance that made for a poor ride. We never expect Durango to have super clean cars. This was better than our past experiences.

Avis Rent a car
Pros: It was at the airport!!!
Cons: The car was filthy. I left belongs in the car and the personnel did NOT check it when they rented it out again. I tried to call them and got auto transferred to the 800 number numerous times. I was told by the 800 personnel to keep trying, thats it. They would not assist at all.
When I finally reached the customer service at the Airport in Durango, CO, I was told oops, we didnt find anything and rented it out already. If we check it later and find anything you can send us a prepaid label from UPS and we will mail it to you.
Cons: We arrive after closure on a Saturday, and they were not open until Monday. There were no cars at the airport Enterprise dealer. Luckily Hertz had a car for us- last one on the lot. The reservation should have more clearly indicated that we could not get the car if we arrived after 12pm on a Sat.

Unorganized and condescending.
Cons: Reserved a vehicle over the phone. Went to pick it up a couple of hours later....clerk claimed that she ".......couldn't find our phone number," in order to confirm our reservation. Upon arrival at pick up point, we were told that there "....weren't any vehicles left to rent," due to the fact that they couldn't call us. Phone number was given.
Terrible - Pay the extra money to work with a bett
Pros: They eventually offered to give me 50% off for the terrible service. I really don't have much else to say about my experience that is good but this says I should make sure the review is at least 50 characters so I will just keep writing a little bit.
Cons: They sent me to three different locations before finally sending me to the actual budget office. The car I thought I was getting ended up not being available so I was stuck with an older Lincoln Town Car. Customer service had bad information and some of the people I spoke with were rude, acting like I was the problem, even when they had me running all over the county looking for their office.
