Quick and easy
Pros: I liked I was able to pick my rental from 2 choices and not just handed a key.
Cons: I didn't like not being greeted as soon as I walked in the door or even being acknowledge. I was ignored until it was my turn. Then when it became my turn I was treated courteously and transaction went smoothly.

Excellent Customer Service
Pros: In the middle of a family medical emergency I needed to get to Idaho fast, the airlines wanted $500 each way, but Enterprise came through with the price, the perfect car and flexible return dates.

Pros: Location, comfort of car.
Cons: The talk I was given about buying third party insurance that was offered through the website when I made my reservations. Then she didn't give me the necessary paperwork to leave the lit with the car. Departure was delayed while it was figured out! Was also given a gas guzzling car when I ordered a mini van!

Pros: friendliness of staff, a few different car options to choose from, speed to pickup
Cons: although i made the reservation i was unable to pay for it. this is because i no longer have a drivers license but your rules only allow the person paying to also have a drivers license. it was an option for me to pay when returning it but since my partner, the driver, was returning it a day after i already flew back to berlin, then we had to exchange money ourselves. this was a little complicated.

Excellent - what I expect from Enterprise
Pros: Quick and efficient staff. Courteous, friendly.
Cons: The total I paid was about 10 dollars more than what was shown on my reservation. They told me it was extra airport tax. I wish it was shown when I made the reservation so that I could compare the various offers correctly.

Great Value, Odd Location
Pros: Quality vehicles, sharing fleet with Budget and Avis. Why pay more?
Cons: The rather limited hours (7a-7p).are a bit of a drag. And it's 5 miles from the airport so expect a 10-15 min shuttle from the airport. It's a great deal if you live nearby!

Cons: I don't like how the insurance sold on the website is different than the one offered by the rental company, so the customer is pressured into buying multiple policies to ensure proper coverage. I ended up spending hundreds more than my reservation claimed.

Getting the car and dropping it off were among the cleanest experiences I have ever had. It took less than ten minutes for both processes.

Pros: Decent service despite internet being down at the Portland facility. Employees very slow to process paperwork. Lots of side conversation that slowed down the line. Free upgrade to SUV was nice.
Cons: Engine light on vehicle 30 minutes into drive.

Thumbs Up! Will rent again...
Pros: The personnel were friendly and knowledgeable.
They were able to fit my travel needs very well.
Cons: The distance from the airport to pick up the rental.
Pros: The price. The Kayak price was less than half the Hertz direct price.
Cons: The upsell. I had to pay an extra $15 for a "premium" van (Town and Country) that is exactly the same platform as what I signed up for ("Grand Caravan or similar") because they wanted to put me in a Nissan Sentra, which is smaller.
The "we'll sell you LDW but it's for two days not one" on the Kayak site. Hinky. I bought it direct from Hertz for more per day but less overall.
The van. Oh. My. God. I'm so glad I don't own one of these. The driver's seat is among the worst I've encountered.

Pros: drop off was a breeze and charges were exactly as quoted.
Cons: pick up was a bit slow since the agency only had one employee who was responsible for pickup/dropoff and cleaning of vehicles.
Pros: Absolutely nothing good to say about avis other then I will never take my business there, and so should you.
Cons: Getting the run around with what card i can use and cant, on top of that you have to have a perfect credit score in order for them to even rent a car. Thats just wrong and creates gentrification of class. So if you have lots of money and a perfect credit score, then by all means rent from here. If you are an average American who works hard and doesn't meet their requirements, don't bother stepping foot in their store. I was treated so much better by their competitor that i will be doing business with their competitor and recommending anyone to never do business with Avis. The policies that Avis has in place is just plain wrong.
