Pros: The car performed well. Customer service reps were nice.
Cons: I was told that if my requested car was not available I'd get an upgrade for no additional charge which was a lie and a trap. I will have to spread the info along. I was supposed to have pk 271 but paid 362 instead. Very upset

Car died, had to call AAA because you guys wouldn'
Cons: My car had a near flat which I discovered after getting on the highway and it pulled so badly I had to stop and figure out what was going on. Discovered a busted hubcap and out of line bumper...someone had hit something pretty hard before I ever got the thing. Got to dc.....and air quit blowing cold because I was losing power. Wouldn't start three different times, kept sayin incorrect key (because battery was dying) went to leave my hotel to albeit second half of my drive, car was completely dead. Called CS and was told they would come jump and exchange vehicles....then called back and said it would cost 80 dollars for a jump for YOUR car....and I would have to drive it out to get a replacement that actually ran.
Thank god for the guys at the DC airport during exchange. They were amazing, specifically the elder gentleman named Paul. He made the transition smooth and even transferred my luggage. And apologized for the car breaking down on us. He redeemed you guys completely in my book.

Only rent again as a single.
Pros: It was there. It was available in the terminal rather than having to take a shuttle.
Cons: I misunderstood that the spouse would be a driver if registered at check in. No soap. I will never use them again unless traveling by myself.

LDW was added even though I declined
Pros: The desk agent was very friendly, even finding me an additional discount
Cons: However, I told her that I wanted to decline all coverages, but LDW was added anyway. I did not catch this until much later, after I had signed the contract and left the facility and Dollar would not remove the extra $29 per day (5 days).

Good car, Good service, but out of cars?
Pros: My car was great and got good gas mileage
Cons: The line at the counter was long and slow for pickup. We were told Dollar was out of cars even though we had reservations. There was only one person working the counter who had been on for hours without a break. She was smiling and absolutely fantastic--she saved the day.

Pros: The agents were nice. That's all
Cons: When renting the vehicle I was not informed that I would need a certain amount on my card to rent the vehicle. So I got dropped off at the location and was not able to rent the car. I had to call a cab to get back home. So I didn't get to go where I need to go thanks to the misinformation.

Pros: I liked the car a lot.
Cons: I didn't like the receptionist who helped me at the airport. I arrive in the late afternoon and there was no one in line so her attitude was unjustified. Then, her directions to find the car were quick and undetailed. I then didn't know if I had to check in with someone before I took the car like many car rentals do. And then the drop off was a little confusing because there was no one to check in with again. Maybe this works for the company, but for the consumer it can leave an uneasy feeling wondering, "Am I doing this right?"

Cons: Car was so dirty and had marks all over. We took a video of everything just to make sure we weren't charged in the end.
Pros: They were very helpful letting me know where the CVG airport drop off was. Otherwise it would have been a bear.

Kayak needs to get its act together
Cons: Online I requested a rental car to be available at Dayton International Airport. I selected a vehicle on kayak. When I ride to the airport I found out The rental facility was 30 minutes away from the airport. I was never informed during the process that the rental was not on the property at the airport but 30 minutes away. Luckily Enterprise took my reservation at the airport if not I would have been in very bad shape to get to an important meeting. Come on kayak as usual the time get your act together on rentals.

Pros: Not pushy, they offered and explained options, such as insurance, road side assistance, fuel options, and GPS. Quick, easy and reasonably priced.
Pros: The van was a 2016 Chrysler Town & Country with all the bells and whistles. Very comfortable and plenty of space for the five adults in our party. The owner was very polite and tried his best to get us our van as fast as possible.
Cons: The wait to get the van took about 30-45 minutes. Only one person was working the desk although there were two computers. More help with rentals would have been terrific.

Pros: This is the second time I've rented a car from this location and in both instances the pick up and drop off have been very smooth. The car made an annoying high pitched sound when going fast and/or it was particularly windy out but was otherwise fine.
