Hard to find rental booth. Car great
Pros: Car was new, no problems with the car.
Service was helpful.
Cons: Hard to find the booth for dollar. There was not a booth for dollar. Had to find out that dollar uses thrifty booth. And hertz, thrifty and dollar are the same company.
The kayak website gives you an option to buy an insurance for the rental. That is not valid for the car. Wasted money. Had to buy extra insurance at the rental.

Charged extra
Pros: Good pickup, clean car, as expected until...
Cons: They charged is EUR 50 extra when we returned the car...apparently the guy at the drop off found a bit of dirt on the back seats...which probably came from our 6 and 4 year olds putting their shoes on the seat when climbing into the car.
This was a real surprise to us, and too late for us to pass a quick hover on the seat. What a shame that they don't tell you in advance....will not go back to Hertz, never had this issue with Avis or Europcar!
