I want informed that the car was only available to be dropped off during business hours. I work during those hours so have been able to drop the vehicle off and keep racking up days I hadn’t expected because I wasn’t informed there was no night drop off.Sixt

Nothing, got a call on the day of pickup to say no cars available!! Avis Recommended I not Avis phone other branches to check for availability! Unbelievable!! Nothing was available! So I had to book a car from a competitor at 3x the rateCons:

The did not have a car for me! They acknowledged that I had a confirmed reservation (as did their national reservation system), but when I arrivedon time to pick up my car they had nothing for me. I confirmed the reservation in advance with conversation about the fact it was made on my behalf and where the car was to be picked up. I was assured that not having the method of payment with me would not be a problem as the reservation would be transferred to me using my credit card or debit card with a credit check. They also assured me that the car would be delivered to the airport to avoid cab fare. Upon arrival, there was no car. I called and the attendant told me she was the only one there but confirmed the car was available if I could get to their location nearly a half hour away for the pick up. I paid $50 in cab fare to get to the agency to be informed that the original card used to secure the reservation needed to be present or the reservation would need to be canceled. I provided the attendant with my confirmation conversation and he indicated that he would switch the $75 dollar rental to my name. I went through the payment process and was informed that the rental would be $380 plus a $200 deposit for a compact car for 3 days. I asked why the big jump and he informed me that it was due to no reservation and that it was a counter transaction. Naturally, I discontinued the transaction and informed him and the attorney who made the reservation that I’d make other arrangements. I picked up an Uber and had a wonderful experience. I will never do business with Hertz again and will recommend the same to my business associates and customer base using social networking, email and conversation.2.8 Poor

Wasn't informed it was not the airport location, so we went to the wrong office. We then had to wait for transportation to the correct office. At the second office, it took almost an hour to get the car, we had to wait while it was cleaned, detailed and maintained. The entire ordeal took an hour and a half. Ridiculous.8.8 Very Good

Outstanding customer service from Brooke and the other staff. My SWA flight arrived 2 hours late so the pick up office was closing just as I landed which prevented me from picking up my car. The airport Hertz (which was still open) did not have any cars available. The next morning I picked up the car and Brooke (who was highly congenial) didn't charge for the first day (since I couldnt pick it up) and when I asked about them not having a shuttle to the nearby airport she offered to get me ride there or drive me to the airport once I returned the car! Very classy.Cons:
