Very modern hotel, nice, spacious rooms, wifi works fine, staff is helpful and friendly.
We spent the whole of September driving ,independently around Spain and Portugal, booking ahead each day on Priceline.ALL The hotels were clean, comfortable ,smart and good value, however this particular hotel stands out for having the haughtiest, curtest 'Madams' on reception that we encountered on the entire trip. Not a smile, welcoming comment or helpful remark was forthcoming from either the surly girl at reception when we arrived, nor from her clone the next morning.Clearly our presence was an inconvenience to both of them .
I don't had the feeling of being in a 4 stars hotel, but in a nice 3 stars one.
Room was spacious with very comfortable beds. We had a front room overlooking the car park and had a good view of the surrounding countryside. The swimming pool, even though it had only a few loungers was welcome after a long drive. The free wifi had excellent speed. The hotel is in a quite area outside the city, great for a good nights sleep.
It would assist if instructions on how to use the TV were posted in the room somewhere. You have to press a switch by the bed to get power to the TV and a second remote control to change channels. The dining area looked most unwelcoming and the girl at the bar seemed to have way too much to do in serving drinks and also looking after diners. We ate at the nearly Cortes de Leon hotel but I would not do so again. The food there was awful.
Very nice, luxuary hotel. The swimming-pool was excellent! The staff was able to speak English which is quite rare in Spain. The breakfast was fine (is was not the truckers cafe as mentioned in other reviews!!!)
The garden, as mentioned on your site as an area to walk, was not yet implemented. The location-info on booking.com was not very precise.
