The car was in tip top shape at pick up, the staff was working hard and thorough during pick-up inspection, and it was a fair price for the market rates in the city I’m in.Cons:

It was very good only thing I need to address was it took far too long at the desk to pick up the car I.e more than 90 minutes but returning was quick. A car was clean and otherwise a good experience and can recommend it to a friend.Cons:

Cons:
We are extremely upset at Essence Car rental service. We exited our flight and were waiting for an hour at the exit hall of Antalya airport from 17.45 till 18.45 today. We walked around all halls looking for the person with our name or with Car Rental agency name (Essence Car Rental as mentioned by you) and did not see any person like that. This was after 2 tiring flight with our 2 kids smallest of which was 4 years old girl. We have bought a Turkish cell phone number which is 05366711589 and paid over 30$ just to call agency numbers (two on reservation email). NONE OF THOSE NUMBERS WAS ANSWERING as we called more than 10 times in total. As a result we took a car from another agency overpaying about 60$ more compare to our booking. At this point we demand full and complete refund of any charges done on our credit card (any booking fees and other charge if any) and an explanation on the matter. We don't see how you can compensate us on the losses of time, stress and money spent on more expensive booking of the car and sim card which we don't really need for 6 days in Turkey. But we would like to hear that. Also pls note that we discussed at the Hertz service counter as we were looking for the physical location of that Essence agency (I was even thinking to take a cab to their office which was not showing at Google maps) and we were told that this agency does not have any presence at the airport and does not even normally guarantee any cars for the bookings as they work subject to availability. This very upsetting experience for car rental with Kayak and we will keep this in mind for any future bookings we do.2 locations in Kaleici
