Quaint and wonderful. Loved our room. Loved the choc chip cookies, the breakfast, the staff. All was exceptional.
No complaints here.
It was dusty, musty, and the bathroom door was rusty! I got locked in the bathroom. The water took 10 minutes to heat up.
The perfect location in walking distance of everything in downtown Highlands. Hotel staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful.
It is a historic hotel that is nearly 140 years old so maybe this is to be expected, but the room was very small and the door knob kept coming off in our hands so that it was difficult to close and lock the door. There were not many electrical plugs so we had to unplug the lamps to use a laptop and charge phones. There was a coffee pot on a table with no outlet nearby so we had to move it to a night stand by the bed to actually use it.
The building was historical. The town was terrific staff were lovely.
Bulking needed a lot of TL C. The room was large but for the price bedding and pillows did not meet the standard Still have not received a receipt for the night spent.
