Cons: I had to get a rental and be on the road at 12:30. So I scheduled the pick up for 12:00. At 12:30 the vehicle just showed up, I then had to wait for it to be inspected and cleaned. This made me late and having to hurry to catch a flight out. Was any apology or compensation offered, NO. Very surprising in a market w so many choices.

Pros: The counter was closed when I arrived to pick up the car. I had a family emergency and needed to get home to Washington DC early band was unable to make my flight that evening. I will never rent from Alamo again.
Cons: Everything. And when I sent them an email about it they had the audacity to wish me a happy new year. They don't even deserve 1 star.

Pros: The customer service rep at the Springfield, IL airport was very helpful.
Cons: I had a hold on the account because of an issue that I was unaware of through Enterprise. I was renting this on a Sunday and the office that could have resolved this was closed. I am thankful that there was another car rental company available. It would have been helpful to have known about an issue before or as I was securing my reservation.
Cons: I placed three orders for rentals, all confirming that they were booked through Enterprise, only to have the local office call and tell me each time they had no cars at all to rent to me.

Pros: Terrible service -car was booked through app at the appropriate city but kayak did not note which site. My assumption was that it was at the airport, not knowing there was a Seco d pickup spot in the downtown area. First enterprise rep said she would change it. She never did. I called back and got another rep. She changed the reservation to a completely different city. Once the reservation came through, I gave up and cancelled all together. Went with a competitor instead.

Pros: The car was nice
Cons: I didn't like that I booked it via online for $144. Paid for the insurance option, but when I got to the place to pick up the vehicle he said he had no idea what the insurance policy was, it wasnt through them, and I had to buy a separate one. Then when I was checking my credit card statement they had changed me $407 versus my $144 total given online. We did add an additional driver and I knew that would up the cost a little but even adding the insurance at the car place my total should have been $300 max. I'll never rent a car again.
Cons: There was only one rep when I dropped off. I had to wait too long.

Great rental experience!
Pros: Hertz has always delivered great value and superb service for me, whether business or personal rentals. This rental experience was exactly the same. Check-in was fast, no delays. The car was clean, topped off with fuel and ready to go. I had the vehicle for a one week rental. No problems, the vehicle had been serviced prior to my reservation and ran superbly all week. Definitely a fan of Hertz and a continuing repeat customer!
Cons: I can't think of anything I disliked about this rental experience.
Cons: I feel the rental person rushed through the application so that I wouldnt be aware of the additional fees that i was going to pay. At my drop off in Bloomington, my balance was twice as high as I thought i was paying.

Pros: I liked the Kia Soul, it was comfortable and fun to drive. I also liked the blue tooth calling and satellite radio which was helpful on my 4 hr drive
