Pros:
Pleasant, relatively hassle free (for Chile). Did not have any problems with the car. Return was straightforward, no quibbling.Cons:
They do provide proprietary insurance which does not however include unpaved roads, unfortunate when one considers that the vast majority of roads in this region are unpaved. The 18% VAT waiver for non-residents in lodging does not apply in the case of car rentals. Car rental (this is not directed at Europacar) is quite expensive in the entire region for understandable reasons, poor roads, crazy drivers, poor signage, etc. I suppose the above points are true of all firms industry wide and do not signal out Europacar which provided me with a well maintained car at a lower price than its competitors, courteous service without hassles or fuss.10.0 Wonderful

The car was not ready on time (3 hrs late ) but otherwise pickup went smoothly with a lady who spoke English and answered all my questions. She taught me Spanish to get the right gas. Very nice car. I loved driving it.Cons:
