Pros: Despite making a reservation, they had no cars available. They did not apologize at all for it, did nothing to help us make other accommodations, and so we were stuck without a car.

Cons: The car that we reserved and had confirmation for was not available upon arriving to pick up. This caused a lot of chaos and nerves as we were left without transportation. How can this happen when you have a confirmed reservation and are counting on having a vehicle? I've never experienced something this horrible and their customer service associates were horrible and didn't care we were left without transportation.

Pros: Made a reservation in advance but they didn't have it when I got there. Took an hour and a half to get a car which is longer than the plane ride to get to Guadalajara. The physical appearance of their facility is very poor, it's dirty, unkept. I was told to wait in a certain area for a van and waited there for 30 minutes. Finally got their facility and they sent me back to the terminal saying that I had to go upstairs. They said they didn't have a car for me. I think they overcharged me but it was Christmas, so what could I do!

Pros: we could not get a car the website says its available but it was note and were left stranded. I think you should have better communication with the areas renting the cars.

We didn't even get the car.
Cons: We got to the Hertz and they didn't have a car for us. Their excuse was "sometimes people don't return the cars on time, sorry!" And we had to scramble last minute to get a rental elsewhere so we could still go on our trip.

Worst service ever! They overbooked and didnt have
Pros: Nothing. This is the worst experience I have had ever with a car rental
Cons: They didnt respect my reservation! Got there and they overbooked so I didnt get any car! Had to pay twice as much in booking last minute with another company and wasted half day of vacation. The guy at the reception wasnt even nice; he was giving all types of excuses.
Cons: insurance was more than I paid for the car other than that it was great!

Must have lots of patience
Pros: The car was clean, and the people were friendly.
Cons: They didn't even have a car to rent to us! When they found a temporary solution, they just kept us waiting for 4 hours while they slowly prepared the car. Multiply everything by 3 or 4. If they say it will be ready in 10 minutes, plan on 40, 1 hour = 4 hours, etc. We were eventually on our way, but very frustrated.

Terrible experience !
Cons: Car was not in a good mechanical condition. Everyone seemed to be fine until 3 days after driving the car. The breakes were not working! I considered that to be a major issue; i was afraid I'd be in a higher risk of getter no into an accident. When I called they concluded by saying "We only act when the vehicle has a rally severe damage, and that the breaks not functioning wasn't one of them. They simply told me to take go find a mechaninc and fix it myself with no chance of my getting a different vehicle, and instead they tried persuade me with a pricier vehicle. Never again!
Pros: Although Budget may offer a low price, I would strongly recommend using a different rental car agency. Budget has extremely poor customer service, both online and especially in the store. Agents may not always recognize your rental reservation, so consider having a plan b. Overall, I was highly disappoint with my rental and will never use Budget again.

Cons: While I understand we are in Mexico, and I can't speak Spanish, the communication was nonnexustant. Maybe written instructions in English could help them for when renters don't speak Spanish.

Reservation was not found
Cons: The reservation was not found by the front desk clerk. My fight arrive at 11pm and I was told the central office was close and I was offer other vehicle at a very high rate. I was so disappointed

False Advertising and Unauthorized Charges
Cons: We got an unauthorized USD $120 extra charge. Location opened 50 mins late, representative was impolite and extremely slow, an hour to sort our reservation.
Cons: When I did the reservation it was for 47dlls and at the end I paid over 300dls because of the insurance. ..
Plus the car was not available and had to take another one.

Horrible - Europcar México
Pros: Horrible experience they wouldn't take the insurance from rentacars.com so I had to purchase their insurance originally for $380 then miraculously after 1.5hra fighting them it went to $200 extra only. Also when dropping off the car they tried to charge me because there was no car manual which was never in the car to begin with and for a scratch on the rim, when I went to look at what they wanted to charge me for they were looking at a totally different car. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, I will never use rentalcars.com nor Europcar again.

Pros: Customer service, drop off/pick up experience, clean place
Cons: Insurance coverage for cars is different than the US so read the details before you commit. Insurance coverage is mandatory and comes with a large US dollar deposit. The lower the coverage you select the higher the deposit will be.
Cons: My flight was scheduled to arrive at 6:30 am. I placed the pick up time for 7:00 am. My flight was delayed by. 40 minutes and my reservation was not there when I went to pick up my car. I was at the counter at 7:30. I was told my reservation was forfeited because I didn't pick it up at 7:00.

Pros: I can tell you that the experience in dollar Gja was poor, but the past experience in Monterrey Dollar was great! I have to return to Mty and hope to get a good service!
Cons: I was suppose to pick up at 8pm...but they told me that they did not know at what time the next day so I just did not return...bad experience in Guadalajara 's office

Make sure you add insurance
Cons: I truly dislike the fact that insurance is not included on the package.
I click on the add on for it and when I got there they wouldn't honor it because it's Through a third party. Racing the rental price to about $300 instead of the $60

Cons: I was told my rental would be $27.00 and once I got there I was forced to purchase the Insurance and I had to pay $147.00. I have never been forced to pay for Insurance and I have rented many cars.

Pros: Only thing helping my experience was that it is an American brand. Rest were fine or just good enough. The cars were no clean like in US, lot more body damage and wear tear. Language issue was a major issue. Couldn't understand most of our the conversation. But they all tried hard and on drop off one employee was fluent in English- it was helpful
Cons: Car was not well maintained, damaged and I needed to exchange it and got that the car had to be brought from my original place of rent- 200 miles & 5 hrs of drive away.
Pros: There was no shuttle to transport us from the Airport to the rental location, tried calling and no one was available. Arrived at location by taxi and there was no represetative there to assist.

They didn't respect the reservation with you guys
Cons: The service poor, the insurance with kayak reservation was to expensive (about $900.00dollars total) overall I was not happy, also I lost one of the tire cover and I had to pay to Payless cash there $1,300.00pesos because they said insurance didn't cover it.
