Our room was a little bit dark due to being on the "ground floor" and the dark wall paint, but very clean. One of my lamps was broken. What was missing was the option to cook some tee or coffee in the room. The location was awesome and the room had enough space for 2 people.

Pros (+) The hotel was comfortable and clean.
Cons (-) I think the photos on booking.com are a bit misleading. The hotel is not as fancy as it looks in the pictures. It‘s rather 60’s style.

Pros (+) • The staff are very friendly. • The room was clean and spacious. • The location is great. Not only if you have business in the checkpoint Charlie area, but also if you are a tourist, as there are plenty of things to see around within walking distance. • It is 10 minutes walk from the mall of Berlin if you want to do some shopping. • They let you borrow an iron and ironing board.
Cons (-) • The soap dispenser was broken, so they gave me a bar of soap and told me they will fix it during the day, but I checked out 4 days later and no one had fixed it. • The breakfast was below expectations. They have a very limited range of food, but maybe it's because of coronavirus. I have to check it again when it's over.

Pros (+) Nice Breakfast and friendly staff.
Cons (-) Shower was not good and the bath tub was not at all comfortable since there was a Tiny glass Partition, which gives less space while showering. Also the shower had no good water supply, the water pressure was too low.

Pros (+) An excellent combination of historical appeal with modern comfort and style. Lovely reception staff and great location
Cons (-) No Sky TV as advertised. Ironically, given the name of hotel, there was absolutely no English language TV out of 80 channels! Neither did the Internet work at all, despite many attempts. This was not acceptable in a four star hotel but action was taken
