On Google kayak website said if you pay through them they will not need a deposit that’s not true I still had to give them my credit luckily for me I was prepared but others are gonna be upset when they pay assuming they won’t need a depositReviewed 21 Dec 2021

Pros:The staff was very friendly and helpful. We requested a minivan because we were moving my daughters belongings cross county. When we arrived we were told that the van had a safety issue and couldn’t be driven. They were able to accommodate us with a SUVCons:The rental was in a KIA dealership. Apparently there had been a recall and everyone needed rental cars. It took over an hour to be checked out. The staff was overwhelmed but did a good jobReviewed 22 Sep 2020

Cons:Arrived at Hertz Palmdale as per directions at 12:30pm . I was initially served by Ms. Daisha Bates at approximately 1:45pm . Auto was delivered with front License Plate bent possible damage from Car Wash ? Interior smelled of tobacco and a cigarette butt was found on the floor. Left at 2:45pm .Reviewed 10 May 2019

Don't use Car Rental . comPros:NothingCons:I made a mistake on the reservation and called immediately, so Hertz cancelled, but Car Rental .com said they will still charge me. My daughter resubmitted for a rental (before I knew they would still charge me), then she went to pickup the car and there wasn't one reserved, so then they brought her one out that had candy stuck to the seats and smelled of smoke. She told the attendant, and he sprayed it with Fabreeze and considered this fixed. She cancelled the reservation. I will not go through a site for reservations again, only straight to National or Enterprise.Reviewed 11 Dec 2018

Really good.Pros:I love Hertz, they gave me a dang good car and honored my AAA membership, so I didn't have to pay the under 25 fee. Who else does that? 10/10, would rent again.Reviewed 10 Oct 2018

Lost in the stormPros:The car was great for the price and drove over 1900 miles without a glitch.Cons:The staff in the pick up location was too busy talking and joking around to notice me, their computers crashed, my agent took another customer while helping me, they made me call my credit card company to get an authorization code or they would charge me twice and when I returned the car there was no record of me renting a car in their system.Reviewed 26 Aug 2017
