You'll need to catch a shuttle bus, which is available from the terminals. Alternatively, if you're flying into San Francisco International Airport (SFO), you'll instead need to take the AirTrain to the Rental Car Centre from all terminals. Just follow the signs for AirTrain and take the Blue Line train. Both airports boast a wide range of car hire agencies, including many well-known international companies.

We have wated for the car about half an hours after the reserved pickup time, and took it with empty tank to save some more time. We got 10% off, but we were in a hurry all day. The drop off was efficient.

Minivan
We had rented a family van and had 3 cars to choose from. We chose one but noticed that tread on one car was a concern so the customer service switched cars at the last minute. The car was great and we drove down to San Diego and back safely with no problems. Returning the car was a breeze. I will recommend this Enterprise to all!

Passenger van
Easy to reserve. They had exactly what we needed. Called to confirm a few days prior and explained procedure. The return was easy, but weird. Arrived at 5:02 and door was locked. The person was inside, but couldn't open the door, so just left keys in the Drop Box. The Walnut Creek office called asking if we were still going to return it there. That was news to us?
Thanks to Avis person at location who helped with the entire process

It's not customer friendly at all. Why do I HAVE TO GO to the same outlet for renewal ? Why can't I use two credit cards to pay? Why don't you accept a debit card, when you have used a credit card in the past? There are too many rules that are not customer friendly and make a renewal difficult and cumbersome. And the representative lady there wasn't helpful either. Throwing rule books at a customers face is not service.
The help at the Walnut Creek office were offensive and not helpful. I will be switching to Enterprise

I recently rented a car from Hertz in Walnut Creek, and while the service was adequate, I expected a better experience given the location. The process was straightforward, but the staff didn’t seem particularly attentive or eager to assist, which made the overall experience feel less personalized than I’ve had elsewhere. From my past experiences, Enterprise in Brentwood has consistently provided a higher level of customer service. Their team is more welcoming, efficient, and proactive in addressing customer needs. Compared to Hertz in Walnut Creek, the difference in professionalism and customer care is noticeable. While Hertz fulfilled the basic rental needs, I would likely return to Enterprise in Brentwood in the future for a smoother and more customer-focused experience.

Never go this Hertz location. I reserved a car and had a Hertz confirmation number. When I arrived they said they had no cars available. The worker would not even check on the computer to confirm they had no cars. She just told me there were no cars, even though the lot was full of cars. I had to get a ride and drive to Oakland airport and rented a car from Alamo (they were so much nicer). Worst customer service and I will never reserve a car from Hertz again.
Never recieved the car. When I got to the location, I was told no vehicle is available and they can't do anything about it. Called thrifty, they said they can't do anything because rental was booked through Kayak. Called carrental.com, they asked to email them. Had to cancel plans with the family visiting from out of state. Haven't gotten any reply regarding refund yet. Whole experience was a nightmare.
