For context, I travel for my job and I rent a lot of cars. Please avoid this rental location and Budget as a rule. This rental location was some fly by night outfit that has no quality control with their vehicles and I honestly felt unsafe with the car provided, and went elsewhere. The rental office was filthy and smelled awful. One person working who didn’t know about inventory and realized they had one car left. They hand me keys and I walk to car. It was covered in bird poop. I open door and it was filthy. Stain covered seats, dirty floors etc. They don’t even clean cars or check for safety issues between customers! The vehicle was clearly not cared for and no way was I risking my family’s safety in that tin can on wheels. I returned keys and found another location and rental. Kayak should not be offering this rental company as an option as it’s a full on liability. Avoid for your own safety.Reviewed 8 Feb 2024

I rent cars a lot for work travel. This location was downright frightening and shady. The office was dirty and smelly, which is okay otherwise, but they didn’t even seem to know what cars were available or what condition. They randomly gave me a key for one car they had left. I go to this car and it’s covered in bird poop all over and the inside was filthy and has stain covered seats. The car didn’t appear to be safe or taken car of. Avoid this location. I won’t book on kayak again for a car as this place was not safe. I refused the car and went elsewhere.Reviewed 3 Feb 2024

Pros:Pick up was good. We did have to wait for the staff member to clean the car but not to long.Cons:The only problem was the inside of the windshield was dirty I had to clean it myself because I couldn't see out of it.Reviewed 15 Apr 2021

Great Customer Service—Lousy CarPros:The gentleman who waited on me in Palm Harbor was extremely friendly and competent. I left the place smiling.Cons:The car was only filled halfway, which I didn’t notice until halfway down the road. I returned it filled completely. Why Pay Insurance?Pros:The car was great to drive for the first dayCons:I purchased insurance from Budget. I was hit the second day and affer 5 days of trying to contact Budget I give up.
