Fantastic place for relaxtion

Albena is absolutely fantastic for family holiday, the area is nice and not crowded and give you exactly the silence you need to relax. the hotel felt very safe during that time and people worn masks in the indoor area. The rooms we took were fabulous with private pool right in front of the beach with an easy access to the beach.

The minibar at our rooms came half empty and we didn't care much about it because we didn't use it except for one night where we took one bottle of wine. at the checkout the receptionist went through the list of items that should have been on the minibar but because it came half empty and we didn't touch it he thought we used the minibar and took all of the items. after a long discussion he finally agreed and we paid only on the wine we took. please make sure to check the minibar at your arrival and give a heads up to the hotel in order to avoid inconvenience at the checkout.

Facilities and location are great. Entertainment staff were excellent! Great for families.

The covid measures are a little bit hit or miss with guests. Little policing of guests. Staff got better with face mask use during stay.

Some of the guests didn't respect the rules in the restaurant. The food is not too diverse, but tasty. We would like all inclusive chice.

Great location with privacy , rooms are super modern and clean, stuff is polite and handy, rich quality buffet , wide pools and activities. Definitely Worth the trip !!

The hotel is very clean, pools are very clean, the room is big, including the bathroom, lots of storage space, we had even tooth paste and tooth brush available. Mosquito net for the balcony door. Very high water pressure. Daily cleaning. Parking is close. The view is very beautiful, but it was diminished by the only tree from the pool area. Live entertainment during evenings, around 21-22 PM. Wake light in the bathroom under the sinks was very useful in case you need to go during the night. Food is very good, plenty and diversified. Measures for COVID19 have been taken: distance between the sunbeds (free for hotel guests, otherwise 1BGN/sunbed/day); disinfectant in many places of the hotel; staff for serving food, otherwise bag gloves are available in boxes at the restaurant area; cutlery is packed; only one family allowed in the elevator and there are 4 elevators. Location is very good, Albena is small and you can reach anything on foot; even in busy days it is still airy. Very nice terraces with good food, close to the hotel. Bazar and Aldo right next to the hotel. Beach and water are very clean, soft sand and sea water is not deep.

Many mosquitos, as Albena is a natural reserve. The shower pretty much floods in the bathroom. Big bed is not as comfortable as it looks, the sofa bed was much comfortable. Everything is very high, meaning beds and WC. Drinks are not included at dinner (only water from machine) Air conditioning is pretty outdated and is directed to the sofa bed. Thus we could not use it while sleeping, as the child was sleeping on the sofa bed. During weekend all sunbeds are used from noon and they get out of disinfectant at the hotel. People are very relaxed and do not wear masks, staff wears masks for their own protection (masks with a valve which do not know if offers protection for the guests as well). Albena has tax of 10BGN/day. We have requested for a later checkout (13:00 instead of 11:00), but it would have costed 30BGN. After bringing all the luggage at the car by 11, we were told that we can stay for free until 13, as they were not able to check if we have additional costs from the restaurant due to system issue. In the end, being a reservation on booking, they allowed us to make the payment according to the booking reservation price. It did not make any sense to keep the room for 2 more hours, as long as we packed everything.

On the second day of our staying the juice at breakfast was some rotten... regrettable

New hotel , great room service , top-notch facilities and beautiful view, fully equipped spacious rooms , huge pools with waterfalls for kids and quick assess to the beach .. defiantly I’ll rebook this hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at Maritim Paradise Blue. Excellent facilities, very clean and comfortable rooms, just by the beach.

The beach is very good with soft sand and shallow sea. Breakfast was very tasty and the staff were very friendly.

Not so much to do there, we are and couple and have to go to Varna to have dinner. When you pay the ticket leaving Albena make it at hotel because at payment station is little chaos - 4 people don’t know how to resolve simple problem.

The beach is few steps from the hotel, clean and not crowded, with free umbrella and sunbeds. Beach bar where you can take a refreshing drink. The room is big enough for me, my husband and 12 years old daughter with all the things you need, with a perfect sea view! There's everything that is needed for a 5 star hotel - both in the room and in the hotel - pools, aqua park for kids, a la carte restaurant, SPA area, etc. Breakfast - also very good with a choice for everyone.

There was a problem with the shower in our room, but after some discussion with the reception they changed our room and on the next day they even surprised us with a small compliment with fruits and champagne in our room for the inconvenience caused.

Hotel with a modern architecture. Room was spacious, well designed. The bed was super-comfortable. Large bathroom with both tub and shower cabin, and double sink; water pressure was absolutely impressive and hot water availability was almost instant. Tea and coffee for free (electric pot and expresser available in the room). Large patio with all the necessary furniture, ending with the private pool (about 3.5 x 3.5 meters, 1.40m deep). All the staff were EXTREMELY kind, helpful and always smiling (under the protection masks, of course). Must mention the high quality massage services. Breakfast was very abundant and various, one can easily create variation for a week or so.

First of all, there are CLEANLINESS FLAWS! At arrival, the toilet seat had spots of unknown origin on top of it. We had to solve the problem by ourselves. The patio was filled with dead leaves. It has been cleaned during the second day of our stay. Secondary, the freshness of some of the products offered for breakfast was... questionable, especially on the last day of our stay, which as a Monday (coming after the busy weekend). Tertiary, although this is not a fault of the hotel, we practically could not use the private pool, as the water was far too cold.

The restaurant is a bit too expensive. We went to Varna to eat in great restaurants and it was cheaper even with the trip.

TV in the bathroom was nice and the toilets very clean also i like the good services from personal SPA & breakfast

This is one of the newest hotels in the area. Good value for money. Staff, facilities and food offerings were great!

The hotel is wonderfully located right in front of the beach, next to the promenada that runs along the Albena beach line. It has a range of facilities that make it great for children, such as kids pools with various water slides which are customized by age (and of course a big adults' pool). The rooms are big and very comfortable (we had an extendable sofa so 2 adults plus 2 small kids fit just fine - the sofa could have easily been used by an adult too). The food was diverse and tasty.

There is nothing to find fault with insofar as the hotel is concerned. The beach could use a bit of a clean up (but I anticipate that they will do that in due course before the summer season actually starts - we were there off season).

The staff was friendly and the location very good. It was very close to the beach. The sauna was nice and the food quite good.

The only unusual thing and annoying was that the lights on the balcony were turned on all night. The curtains were not so good at stopping the light coming in in the room. In regards to the food, it could have been more options to choose from.

It's a nice hotel, very kid-friendly (our 1.2 y.o. kid enjoyed both hotel & seaside). Cozy room with a sea view + hotel's swimming pools with aqua park seen from the balcony. A lot of stuff for breakfast, food from pool bar also fine. Quiet at nights, great staff everywhere, we even accidentally left a wedding ring when leaving, they found it & returned to us. Hotel is by the beach, offers free umbrellas, sun beds & towels. Beautiful sandy beach, clean water - perfect! Nice places to eat out in walking distance.

Excellent conditions for a vacation. Clean and comfortable room (extra-bed included - restful sofa...), diversified and tasty menu (half board). Beach with sunbeds and umbrellas in front of the hotel at no extra cost. Recommended for all kind of kids: smooth entry in the sea, sandy, pools with various water slides. Parking, close to the hotel- 50m, guarded and safe. Wi-fi in the room was very good. In one word: 5 star hotel. Congratulations!!!

Water temperature in the pools was lower than the sea temperature...When the weather is good, it is not a problem, because you spend all day long on the beach...Else, at least for the kids pools, could be 2-3 degrees higher... Cost of parking (10.22 Euro/day), if compared with other similar possibilities to park the car in Albena is a little expensive. But when you remember that the hotel is a five star you might reconsider the cost...

We enjoyed every moment !

Everything ! We had a 2 + 1 room with sea view, the room was verry big, clean, perfect design of the furniture and bath room. One of the best rooms 5*. We stayed on the 3rd floor and we had a tree in front of the balcony that took 50% of the view, the rooms in the left (>325) had no tree in front so no obstruction to view the sea. Evan so, from the bed we could see the beach and sea. Parking in the area is a little expensive, 20 leva / day ( about 10 euro ) , but it is what it is. I give it a score of 9 out of 10. We will come back next year !

The only thing I can think of was the the water in the pool was a little to cold, probably heating is just from the sun. Ohh and the hotel restaurant a l'a carte has maximum 10 types of food, a little expensive, but you will find lots of places near the hotel to eat. And first night they gave us a wrong room, we had a 2 + 1 bed rooms with sea view, and they gave us a double with ..sea view" (315), it was park view with a little sea in the corner. I went back to the reception and they said that the hotel is full... how can it be full when i had a 2 + 1 room... any way , that sucked because we did not unpack that day, but the next day at 14.00 i was in the room i reserved.
